Bad health and disability took me out of the coyote calling before Kansas began having a season that allows this type of night hunting. Thankfully, I can still live vicariously through you guys!
I really enjoyed the all-thermal episode. Have you guys considered using your thermal binocs as spotters during the day? I use my Pulsar thermal monocular as a spotter during daylight and it works like gangbusters.
If az did id have to explain a large thermal purchase haha. All the stuff here in AZ i hunt is too thick for nights. They would be on you so fast before you could see them.
Do yall have any sort of backing to break up your silhouette? Or you just standing out the open field? Curious to know. Just getting into thermal hunting and been a light hunter my whole life and always made just I had back cover.
i have to know what is drag called that y'all use to pull the dead coyotes and where can i buy it! ALSO great content,I'm a night hunter myself and it nice to see other people enjoying it as well!!
Seems some adjustments need to be made, with the colors being so close together. I don't know about the pulsar's but try adjusting contrast to get the color gradients further apart, it'll give more detail like the beginning of the video.
I'm having a tough time dealing with limited Field of View while yote hunting thru iray RL42 and spotting them. I've tried taking thermal off til spotting, then putting thermal on (BoBro mount), but havent seen anything come in while doing that, plus quite impractical. I've tried using tripod and standing, but most stands provide 180 deg options or more, and walking around the tripod sucks. I've tried sitting down with tripod, using as a bipod, quite stable and more comfy for longer stands, which I do, but difficult to scan 180+ degrees. I have no friends so only hunt solo. I've missed seeing dogs coming in while looking west, for example, caller is to my north, they see caller or me move, and start running. I guess I know the problems, and only solution is helmet mounted thermal or hand scanner that I can put in a bino/chest harness of some sort, then get behind gun. I could try to always sit on top of a hill to see them coming from longer ways, but that limits spot choices plus skylining could be an issue. The Night version on my Revolt red color remote is kinda bright too, so need to somehow keep that concealed. Any other thoughts or advice on how to deal with these issues? probably not, only solution is helmet mount or thermal scanner or hunt with buddies. On a good note, the Mom and Pup Serenade has brought in a couple young dogs this year. Also, Kryptonite had one hauling ass in to the call. Of course there were two, and the limited FOV I only saw one get away. Thoguth it was the one I shot, but found him laying int he field so there were two. Continue to miss opportunities b/c I dont know how many/where dogs are in time. Sucks.
Only doing 3 episodes out of the 15 episodes for the season in thermal! Just switching things up a bit for those people who like to thermal hunt. Thanks for watching!
I know some people have recipes for them, but most people aim for the head and try and preserve pelts. Or they throw them away because their pests that do damage to livestock so you can get away with tossing them.

Thanks for watching! Yes, Geoff uses his binos some during the late afternoons.
Rick looks like TR!! That’s Awesome!! Keep up the good work!!
Thanks 👍
Well done fellas! Great episode 💪💪💪
That triple was sweet.
Agreed! Thanks for watching!
Seeing episodes like this makes me wish Arizona would allow thermals or night vision for cayot hunting.
If az did id have to explain a large thermal purchase haha. All the stuff here in AZ i hunt is too thick for nights. They would be on you so fast before you could see them.
Good stuff!! Just getting my start in Kansas. Going to start knocking on doors for the private land to use thermal before the season runs out
Another Great video keep em coming.
More to come!
That 3 count was impressive, when I try that with my buddies we all miss lol turns into the wild west pretty fast.
Sweet Triple 👍🏻
Looks great!
Pretty cool. I liked it.
Great hunt looks like fun after dark.
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it
Rick, you really look cool in that black hot!
Awesome video, 😀
Rick looks like Brushy Bill Roberts on Young Guns II in thermal! Lol😅

nice teamwork!!!
Thanks!
no comment 😂😂 I’ve said the same more times than ide like to admit Rick! 😂

what tripods are you running?

Im surprised that you don't howl more in ... 80% of my call ins are on howls
Good hunting. What brand of tripods r u guys using
Looks like two vets tripods
Love the videos, can you share some information about your guns and setup please? Thanks

What setup do you guys run, thermal, gun, etc?
What tripods/heads are you guys running?
What round are you shooting ?
I’m sure it’s work, but man I would love to have their job!
Why was no one calling the misses on that running coyote at the 12 minute mark? Every hit was behind him. Spotter needs to call out the misses.
What do you guys use for dragging the Coyotes out after a hunt? I’m tired of trying to carry my Gear Plus 2 coyotes.
It's real easy to braid up your own drag out of 550 paracord.
Matt Kindy is all sack!
Hey guys I just picked up on your UA-cam channel. What caliber rifles are you shooting coyotes with?
Try zooming in when you're going to shoot. Seems to help me out
I don’t know how many times I forgot to push record so now I just hit record when I have the rifle on the tripod.
PIP give it a try.
Is Rick yelling into the microphone?
Thermal may be better for the hunter but I think day footage is way better for the viewer. Hope you guys aren't going to mostly thermal episodes now.
Only doing 3 episodes out of the 15 episodes for the season in thermal! Just switching things up a bit for those people who like to thermal hunt. Thanks for watching!
Do they taste like chicken😂 what does everyone do with the yotes afterwards? Been watching vidoes and wondering what guys do with pelts/meat??
I know some people have recipes for them, but most people aim for the head and try and preserve pelts. Or they throw them away because their pests that do damage to livestock so you can get away with tossing them.
Buzzard food.
Fellas stick day hunting this shit is boring
like the 3 stooges.
Thermal is way to easy .
Still have to get coyotes to respond to the calling.
Good lord . Geoff talking is ruining this channel for . It seems like he talks for longer periods of time than what he used to
LOL...You'd be surprised, some people enjoy the information! Thanks for watching.
You can just skip over it, not too big of a deal.
@@daltonpelham1757 I do
@LuckyDuckDecoys maybe so, and that's fine . I like watching the videos because of the content not to listen to chatting Kat
Just keep watching. He's entertaining you
