And as a bonus, the fact that there are different shades of blue and yellow can symbolize fluidity because it looks kinda like a gradient.

Funnily enough as my pfp implies I prefer the aesthetics of both the aro and ace flags over the combined one, which would be pretty funny if I end up with a gender identity that ends up looking a lot like that flag anyway (I don’t have any problems with the aroace flag or anything, I just like the darker colors of the individual flags more).

They need to focus on who they are and who they will be. I have no problems with anybody. But if you make a big deal about what you are, then you come off as annoying and narcissistic.

The only thing I have a problem with is when people make a big deal to go to the lengths of their labels or identity and define themsleves as that gender, sexual orientation, etc. Everybody needs a sense of community sure. But the ones that project themselves so flashy and make a big deal about what they are is a bit too much for me honestly. Be out and proud. Fine. But don't make a bug deal about it. I don't make a big deal about being straight and flaunt it on social media to the point where I say I'm so happy to be straight.

There really is not “one size fits all” proportion of identity. If someone wants to be more open about being “female, lesbian, person of colour, polyamorous” good for them! Sometimes, people want to use more labels because they feel like it fits them better or to be more specific.
