Wow, this is a great opportunity indeed for people that are financially handicapped.
I'm one of those. I lost my job during corona and I've always wanted to train my niece in a very good University. Right now I've got nothing to enroll her in any school. As brilliant as she is, she just graduated from high school with good grades just to please me and make me fulfil my promise of enrolling her into the University.
I wish University of the People grant her a scholarship to study without having to pay any money at the moment until I'm financially stable. Thank you for this good work.

The problem I have joining the Uo people is the application fees $60, which is far expensive fee for India and despite the pandemic it's very hard for an Indian to pay 60 dollar as fees.

Hi Mustak, please note that we are tuition-free, meaning we do not charge tuition: however, we charge a one-time application fee and course assessment fee per course in order to remain sustainable. The estimated total cost of our Bachelors program (including the application fee) is $4,860. Keep in mind that we'll not ask you to pay the entire amount at once, you will only pay $240 at the end of each term if you take 2 courses per term. A term lasts for 9 weeks.

Since we are established in the US, we are only accredited in the US. Please feel free to reach out to the ministry of education in Brazil regarding the acceptability of US accredited degrees there. You will also be able to request that our registrar notarizes your degree and transcript for you here in the US when you graduate from our program, before we mail your degree and transcript to your house address.

I want to sponsor a specific Nigerian student at University of People who is unable to pay his fees due to the monetary restrictions placed on the Country by the Central Bank of Nigeria. Now his education is on hold because of this. I am an American and want to pay the school fees for him so that he can add value to his family.. What information do I need to do this? He needs to either (a). give you access to his student portal and guide you to the part of the portal where you can make the payment online; or (b). ask his program advisor for his student ID and our Western Union payment details and send that information across to you, so you can pay on his behalf. Keep in mind that he'll be able to change his password for the student portal after you make the payment on his behalf.

Hi Okechukwu, we offer as many scholarships as we have the funds available to do so. Currently, all of the donated scholarships are only for undergraduate degree students and M.Ed. students. UoPeople is working hard to raise scholarship funds so that no qualified student will be denied the opportunity to study for financial reasons. As soon as we raise scholarship support for the MBA program we will begin offering aid to MBA students. For now, it is not possible to offer any aid for study in the MBA program.
