Sometimes this can be an ok solution for International Students who don't have any sources of funding. It's just going to be slower than other options. But I never suggest this school for students here in the US. You'll have to check to see if this school is credible and valuable in your Country. Also.. I just replied to your email.
You completely gloss over the fact that they are going through the regional accreditation process in the Fall of 2024 and have already been given candidate status from that accrediting entity which means they meet the minimum requirements for accreditation. Also, the US federal government did away with distinctions between national vs. regional accreditation. The university has recently been selected to join the Federal Academic Alliance (FAA) and provide current federal employees with affordable, quality higher education opportunities. Report on all of the facts.
They've been going through it for like 15 years. I'll believe it when I see it. It was supposed to be 2020, then 21, then 22, then 23, now 2024. They've been saying it for years. Unfortunately when the government changes the fine print, people don't listen. Nationally accredited credits still are far more difficult to transfer into reputable schools. I've had students come to me for help with 2nd degrees because UoPeople degrees aren't opening doors like they expected. When success stories become the norm with UoPeople I'll gladly change my opinion.
And can I just add... If Regional Accreditation wasn't better, they wouldn't be trying to get it. And it's comical that the Government "Eliminated" the difference between accreditations but they still require the school to be Regionally Accredited for students to qualify for government grants. They're just encouraging employers to forget about the difference, but they won't themselves. Regional Accreditation is still very important!

Of you do not like something just leave it alone.....rather than condemn without knowing the goals, and missions of the university of the people.... One day they'll get the regional accreditation.... Yes it is not free but cheap....
The beef is in the false advertising. I have people reach out to me all the time who have been sucked in. People don't realize it's going to take about 5 years to earn the degree. When you can get better degrees from better schools in less than a year... And pay less than what you'd pay UoPeople... I'm going to do what I can to make sure people know about better solutions before they enroll. They've been shooting for Regional Accreditation every year for many years. It still hasn't happened. I would be careful when you hear them say that they're working on it. Having said that... It can be an easier entry to college level education for people living in 3rd world countries.

My next goal after completing my bachelor degree I want to earn my master degree.
Very cool!
But does it work? Any degree doesn't work if you don't get the job
If it gets you your dream job, then it's worth your while.
education and critical thinking are important...its promoted as "tuition free" NOT "free college degree"🤦♂
Yep, unfortunately "free" usually doesn't mean "free".
There is a graduation ceremony each year in Saudi Arabia
That's pretty cool!
I'm eritrean living in saudi arabia. I just graduated highschool. Is university of people a good option for me?
Hey!!! What hack do you have for MBA'S that cost less then $3500? I'd love to hear your hack.
The approach is the same as hacking a Bachelor's, but you have to find schools with 100% self paced Competency Based Education programs. Then, you hack inside the school. I teach my entire process in my Degree Hacking Academy program.. You can check it out here: www.DegreeHackingAcademy.com
Well, it's not completly free. 60 dollars application fee and 140(?) assesment fee.
Yep, like I say in the video.. A bachelor's normally costs $5,000 or more. It's not free.
Omg they have 29% graduation rate
Yep, it's a joke
University gave full scholarship???and is there any program for bachelor???after 14 years education
I'm a Canadian, 41yr old with a
9 year old child. I'm a highschool graduate. I just
Found UofP and your video. Any tips you can shoot me?
I'm more than happy to help. Shoot me an email with some info about what your goals are, and what type of degree you're looking for. I'm happy to help you find a faster path. (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
Can i find a job in uae with this degree
I'm not sure. You'll have to research and see if this is a respected school in UAE. Every Country is different.
No, you can't. UAE doesn't recognize remote degrees. It did not recognize the Open University UK remote degree, which is a legit UK public university and accredited everywhere. Arab countries are still old-fashioned about qualifications.
I want to do Mathematics and they don’t have it as a Major , it sucks
There are some decent options for Education Mathematics Majors. Shoot me an email and I'll help you map something out (ryan@9monthgrad.com).
Thank you so much Rayn for all your video information,I can't wait to get your consultation and Degree Hacking, hope this new year will send all my school credentials for evaluation to get Credits.
Happy New year to you and your family!!!!
Thank you! I'm so glad you're getting value from my content.

Hi bro,
My Name is Ahmad Raza. I am from Pakistan. Its my dream to study in USA since 2021 But i am worried about my low percentage i have 12th year of education in Pakistan. My percentage is 47% and grade D, can i get admission in bachelor degree?
If yes,
Then will you share the info related to process and fees.
And will they give any scholarship or financial aid to Third world country's students like Pakistan?
My budget is 15k$ .
😣
thank you for this. I was very interested un Uop and you made it clear why I should not be. What do you mean when you say people can get a bachelors degree in 1 year. I feel like the credits needed for a bachelors up to 120 credits?
I've actually helped people get Bachelor's Degrees as fast as 3 months. You just can't do it the schools way. I walk through the process here... www.DiplomaSecrets.com
Hope this helps!
I’m already want to drop out because their teachers sometimes give not fair grades for portfolio assignments,
Thanks for sharing. That sucks! Shoot me an email if you want to change paths and hack your degree. I'll help you map out a path (ryan@9monthgrad.com).
I'm also a Student here Are u Sure Sir you make me worried know Should I leave it Though 😢
Sometimes this can be an ok solution for International Students who don't have any sources of funding. It's just going to be slower than other options. But I never suggest this school for students here in the US. You'll have to check to see if this school is credible and valuable in your Country. Also.. I just replied to your email.
They are accepting schoolerships now
Some scholarships can be applied there. But not all. Thanks for the comment!
I want to apply there
How then do we get 100% free scholarship on school that are accredited regional
You don't. Education is a business now and has become out of reach. "Cheaper" is relative.
Hello, you should do videos for people outside of the us
Here you go... ua-cam.com/video/8nT_2rR5Tls/v-deo.html
Please tell him to go check all the accreditation again because as at now they are accredited already
Stop yapping my guy.
Very informative...thanks for posting!
My pleasure!
Oooh its really eye opening 😮
Nothing is eye opening. This guy doesn't know the difference between tuition fees and assessment fees.
Know I feel stuck What I do next Do I left 😕 or not I'm too confused and broken tooo Oh my Precious time 😢 Sir Can U stick me with Right University However It requires 3 to 4 years to complete it I wanna complete ASAP Becz Already I'm stick with this University for months Oh my Gush I'm very Smart Student I can't Bear the time Wastage Sir Guide me
I just replied to your email.
This guy seems to have some beef with the University of the People....
@@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671 That's the thing, I've heard of WGU being as affordable as UoPeople (which I'm a student of) but for international students is there any alternative? I mean for the price of a UoPeople Associate degree actually you can only afford an undergraduate certificate with credits (12 credits maximum) on a community college (at least among the online options) here in Venezuela any respected university like UCAB or the Metropolitan university will cost like 2500$ a semester. I mean besides UoPeople and Coursera I can't study (here credit and loans don't exist and scholarships are hard to get, very hard) could you tell me the name of a college I could attend online besides UoPeople with regional accreditation and a similar price? (WGU doesn't accept international students, I have an American High School education though).
Its a great university we just don't want to study thats the prob
I disagree there. I don't think it's a great university.
@@9monthcollegegrad-ryansway671 but for someone who doesn't have any money might be good
Who is we?
I lost 5000$ for this shit
Such a bummer!
How? Can you explain?
Wow sorry to hear that. I'm about to enrol into UOP, is it a bad idea? Put me through. Thanks
@@heartgolden2173 For most students, there are faster + cheaper ways to earn better degrees. If it's not too late, shoot me an email with what you're looking for and a little more detail about your situation. I'm happy to give my thoughts, and even suggest better paths if there are better solutions. (ryan@9monthgrad.com)
funny enough I got a scholarship in 2019 and renew it every year and this June i am graduating. just wrote my final exam and i have a friend who graducated last year and working already with the degree. for a fact many people are not ready for the truth or ready to really learn. the school is nothing like what you have seen before, just be ready to put in the work.
