- Combustion is a low poly PS1 inspired action game designed by Fredrick Strom. In it a city built on an oil rig in an alternate 90’s diesel punk timeline has trouble with crime on the streets. that’s where Calico the male calico cat comes in. a hard boiled police officer out for justice. The game has gorgeous graphics and very interesting characters and settings and is a game I’m highly anticipating playing in the future. Inspired by old PS1 classics like Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy VII, and several others, you can see the retro charm shine brightly. oh yeah there’s furries too. Today we check out the new trailer unveiled at 3D Realms’ Realms Deep 2022 show and see what Fredrick has in store for us in this new sneak peak of this awesome game

Woah, much love, Stu! And big ups for bringing up Realms Deep to the audience too. So much good stuff shown off.
I'll give a couple of nuggets;
- Since the demo, Calico's entire movement and attack system has been overhauled. This includes jumping, some basic combos, but also moves that link into each other (Like doing an attack, then jumping, results in an uppercut move or a sprinting attack.)
- And Calico's baton will act as his weapon and multi-tool that gets new abilities over the game. Extiniguisher being the first one.
I get such a rush just hearing anyone take an interest in my game. I am so excited to deliver this long-running project in future!
Brok the InvestiGator is also an amazing furry game that shouldn't be missed.

There's something oddly appealing about low-res 3D graphics. The crunchy pixels have a texture all their own.
I heard of this years ago i thought it was no longer around. I know the guy who created it is known as LittleNorweigans and was close friends with the late Amayirot Akago
Will this game come to consoles too? PlayStation in particular, as MGS1 was a big seller on there.
Another cool indie with PS1 graphics is Compound Fracture. FPS with dinosaurs.
It kinda gives me metal gear one vibes with its camera and somewhat looks of stealth

I do love the PS1 aesthetic this game is rocking, and I like what I have seen of it so far, though I confess my memories of it are a bit tainted by the fact that the one video I found then which did a no-commentary playthrough of the demo was played so poorly (at one point apparently forgetting the the advice given by a tutorial in that same tutorial and just quitting it) that I swear I felt the person playing was drunk or something.
Sounds like they had a career as a game journalist in their future
Another furry game I've been looking for that's gonna possibly appear at Realms Deep is Hellslinger. Play as some badass furry women with guns.
looks like it has some mgs2 style stealth, glad we're getting more stealth games
