Hey man... 2 things you need to know. #1: 1990's LT-1's and LT-4's (vettes) have an "Opti-spark" distributor which is VERY sensitive to getting wet.... and dying.... so GM smartly located it below the water pump. I've killed an opti-spark with a pressure washer, and one with with a leaking water pump. Large puddles or flooded streets are taboo. #2: The large plastic intake/air cleaner cover is affectionately know as "Home Plate!" Cool car.... Me is jealous!!!
Your work on this old Iron is amazing. And you are able to see these builds in your mind. Always exciting watching you make these builds work. Thank you Casey for your dedication and determination on this rust bucket. Love the work ❤️👊👍
Your channel has came a long way. You’re meant for this. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. The look back and the video clip had me dying. Mother freakin Hilarious. Thank you!!
Your ideas are always amazing. I can tell you’re a free thinking innovator. I admire your work. You’re a true definition of the sky is the limit. You’re pure motivation.
Hey Casey Customs, I love 💕 the interaction between you and DD Speed Shop, both you guys are hilarious 🤣 😆 😂. It was funny that he was poking fun at your click bait skills, the master of click bait and thrills!!!
Casey... Monte Carlo tail light Jesse here... Huge fan of what your doing here... Curious if your gonna use the LT1. A LOT of people piss and moan about the Opti spark, but I am a huge fan of those engines, so fingers crossed. Also it's really cool that this is gonna end up being like a multi generational Impala. Keep doing what you do!
Hi Case just in case you did not know the car is flipping awesome. Rat trap sounds right for a name change. Thanks for taking time out to share your experience. Nice hey.
I’m honestly upset youtube algorithm took this long to show me your channel. Some of the best car videos I’ve seen in a while, and you’re consistently creating new and better videos each week
Hey Casey, you make it look easy. I know you said you had 40 plus hours into it. Wish I would have done something like that in my days of wrenching. Love your channel and videos. Take care and be safe.
If there is ever a build you should totally blow any budget on it this Impala. Most exited build since the F1000. Supernatural kicks ass. I even named my dog Crowley.
Had a white 67 Caprice 4 dr ht with a 283 back in the early 70’s. Always liked it, great cruiser. Swapped it for a 64 Pontiac wagon that I turned into a 2dr sedan delivery. Yours will be a lot faster than mine was. Good luck. 👍👍
I have to tell you that's a great project. Years ago a coworker had a 1964 Chevy 2 which could have been a Flintstones mobile as the floors were gone. He acquired a 1984 Cutlass chassis to which also needed to be lengthen 2 3/4". Fortunately the Chevy II strength is in the rocker panels which were in good shape. The Cutlass chassis fit right between the rockers. Being a sheet metal worker I made 10 gauge angles welded them to the rockers and laid the body right on the chassis and welded it on. He wanted to make floors, I told him to cut the floor out of the Cutlass which he did. The whole floor fit through the rear window and that got welded in place. A 350 with a 350 auto installed, drive shaft modified and it was a great project, he drove the car for years, then he got married LOL. I'll keep following your project.
I had 2 '68, not '67, Caprice coupes. I still like that body style. The '68 coupe has kind of a Corvette body style, only blown up to full-size. A friend of mine had a '67 Impala fastback, another great body style. This is gonna look great when it is done. Of course, back in the day, we would have turned up our noses at the 4 doors but, as time has passed, they are better looking now than they were then. This will be a fun build to watch.
I'll be watching this build very closely! Absolutely love it and you haven't even gotten started on it yet! I'll even watch all the ADs to help support this build! Thanks for sharing this! 😎👍
This has got to be the best and cheapest way to get a great handling and dependable hot rod . A guy could spend a fortune getting a older car ,to drive and handle like a newer model. This is cool has hell.
Idk, I'm usually not a fan of those donkeys style wheels either but something about these just feels right. I also like glen 1957 idea about trying to use the 96 impala pan 👍
Awesome video! Found you from the Monte Carlo videos and have watched them all. I myself have an 85 monte im building and just picked up a 65 impala too
Casey you have 4 bad ass projects going on right now and I honestly can't say my favorite, I originally thought the mustang all the way and wasn't all big on the training day until you did it and then fell in love then you had to toss in the sickest blazer in history and if that wasn't enough you had to start building the car from one of my favorite shows. You got my head a spinning my friend I love all these projects. Your channel is my #1 by far right now over all my others even b is for build . Your kicking asss
Might be my fav build, do a proper job, some chassie to body mounts/bushings, this might help to give you clearence for the hood, a nice floor and trunk, this car will be epic!
It's fine.... just look at it now Damn! If DD speed shop was building this ride. I think he would be converting it to a 2 door. Four door hard top is sick!
That looks good! This would look good with bucket seats and a custom console. Your could put a double din stereo in the console and wouldn't need to cut the dash. A set of older Honda seats or Cavalier seats without the headrest would be perfect for this build.
I personally love how the back end sits as it is. Maybe a 1 or 2 higher. But it looks badass as is. Keep up the good work. You've got me hooked. I watch your videos every night! You got aome serious talent especially considering your doing it in a garage without a lift.
You just made it easier for me when I get my hands on a 4 door hardtop bonneville. I've put late model bdoy frames under the 62 - 64 impalas. But damn that's sick
Man... this is a dream build of mine. As much as I like SPN and baby. Mine would have to be done in a silver metallic flaked victory red. She would get a cammed 496, a built 4L80 and AWD. She'd be done up as a hot rod fire cheif car to match my 67 C60. Run the fireman's pumper and primer parade with my family and show them off at the GM nationals in Carlisle, PA
The “ home plate” on top of the motor is just a silencer you can remove it and plug the hole left behind with a hockey puck, I personally own a 96 roadmaster wagon with the LT1 as one of my cars. gm performance parts also make a carburetor intake for that generation LT1 that uses a regular sbc distributor
My best bud in high school drove a '67 SS that he had painted Corvette Yellow. After 3 years of everyone calling it the 'bananamobile' he had it painted metallic blue. A week later he t-boned a van that ran a red light.
I wish I had 1/4 your drive and or ambition. I always gather stuff then stall idk . I'm hoping to just win one of yours then I can clear all my stuff out lmao . I got stuff everywhere lol

Ooh good to know thank you!
They do make a conversion setup to swap these to LS style ignition systems as well.
Best build so far
Your work on this old Iron is amazing. And you are able to see these builds in your mind. Always exciting watching you make these builds work. Thank you Casey for your dedication and determination on this rust bucket. Love the work ❤️👊👍
Thank you for watching!
Another cool project getting started … so that’s at least 4 that you are working on.. keep them coming Casey
this might be the best chassis swap donor yet. looking forward to the build.
First time viewer, love it!
You have a lot to get caught up on 👍
Your channel has came a long way. You’re meant for this. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. The look back and the video clip had me dying. Mother freakin Hilarious. Thank you!!
I can't wait to see it when Baby is finished. You know you have blast Wayward Son when she's finished. Use the black blast can!
Your ideas are always amazing. I can tell you’re a free thinking innovator. I admire your work. You’re a true definition of the sky is the limit. You’re pure motivation.
I LOOOOOOOOVED THE WHEELS ON BUILD, THEY FIT‼️🌎👀
My dad had several Impalas growing up. He did had a 67 4 door with a 327. But my favorite one he ever had was his 65 Impala 2 door black 283.
Love this build my daughter loves that car I had a 67 2door ss I sold when she was a baby .love that you got an impala frame for the impala
I must complement. Your hackery is getting much better.
She is looking good👍🏾
Luvin that Blazer
You got so many builds going on and still seems come in clutch with the video uploads… KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK
Looks awesome 🎉🎉🎉❤❤🤍🤍💙💙
I love the Chevys from the 60s. The nice thing about the donor frame is that there should be plenty of parts available to make the car handle well.
It’s cool that it a 96 Impala SS on a old Impala,,amazing it fit so good!
That looks awesome!!!
Wow, this one is roaring off the line, what a great start! Love a 4 door hardtop.
Hey Casey Customs, I love 💕 the interaction between you and DD Speed Shop, both you guys are hilarious 🤣 😆 😂. It was funny that he was poking fun at your click bait skills, the master of click bait and thrills!!!
He only wishes he could click bait as well as me
That car looks so cool

I am 100% using this engine. I wouldn’t of done all this work for this chassis if i wasn’t going to lol
I love this car already. I could see it with electric windows and a few added modern touches. Have fun and waiting for the next Impala video
Hi Case just in case you did not know the car is flipping awesome. Rat trap sounds right for a name change. Thanks for taking time out to share your experience. Nice hey.

Damn, 1,2,3,4… projects at once! my ADD is going crazy thinking of the multi tasking.😵💫
Doing work! nice job👍🏼🤙🏼
It’s actually 7 😬
@@CaseysCustoms you did notice the three dots, right? 😂
*edit
excellent fucking job!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
This is a perfect body swap ever 1996 Chevy Impala Super Sport with a 1967 Chevy Impala Super Natural this is so cool 😎
Nice one 👍👍
Can’t wait for this build 😎
Hey Casey, you make it look easy. I know you said you had 40 plus hours into it. Wish I would have done something like that in my days of wrenching. Love your channel and videos. Take care and be safe.
It's coming along nicely so far Cassey. Keep up the great craftsmanship and hard work my friend. Fab On. Weld On. Keep Making. God Bless.
This is by far your best video!!! I have a rotten 67 body and now I know what to do !
Those 67 Impalas look good with those 9 inches wide aluminum slots in back with 7 in front on white letter tires or centerlines.
I LOVE IT !!!
Hell yeah can't wait to see what you do with baby !
STOKED TO SEE THIS BUILD!!!!!
I love the K 5 Blazer, I had a 72 Blazer 4x4 it was so much fun to drive.
If there is ever a build you should totally blow any budget on it this Impala. Most exited build since the F1000. Supernatural kicks ass. I even named my dog Crowley.
Dude this looks amazing
Excellent work and awesome production value as usual

I'm legit jealous I've been looking for this car as well can't wait for the next episode
This has got to be the best and cheapest way to get a great handling and dependable hot rod . A guy could spend a fortune getting a older car ,to drive and handle like a newer model. This is cool has hell.
get a cold air intake and intake elbow kit to replace that impala intake
That’s what I’m thinking too
Idk, I'm usually not a fan of those donkeys style wheels either but something about these just feels right.
I also like glen 1957 idea about trying to use the 96 impala pan 👍
That looks awesome
Damn dude I thought you couldn’t top the mustang but this is looking so good.
Awesome video! Found you from the Monte Carlo videos and have watched them all. I myself have an 85 monte im building and just picked up a 65 impala too
Like seeing fellow supernatural cars

Fearless!! The whole reason I don't want to put a 5 speed in Edna is because I dont want to cut the crossmember
My thoughts....them wheels look great. But you are the master of the machine, so you rock it however you like. Keep up the great work and carry on.
Might be my fav build, do a proper job, some chassie to body mounts/bushings, this might help to give you clearence for the hood, a nice floor and trunk, this car will be epic!
I think this is my favorite build so far 😎
Awesome chassis you found. This will be amazing. I actually like the wheels that came with the chassis
Love the video, you can get a p71 drive shaft from a crown Victoria and use the yoke from impala. Can’t wait to see her when you get done.
Cool video I’ve seen most of the tv show. Missed the last season. I’ve got a 1/25 scale of that car- 67 -427 . 3.73 posi . 25 ft bumper to bumper.
It's fine.... just look at it now Damn! If DD speed shop was building this ride. I think he would be converting it to a 2 door. Four door hard top is sick!
Love it can’t wait to see it done!!!
This one is going to be badass
That looks good! This would look good with bucket seats and a custom console. Your could put a double din stereo in the console and wouldn't need to cut the dash. A set of older Honda seats or Cavalier seats without the headrest would be perfect for this build.
You are very hard worker. It's hard to believe how many projects you got going. Just one would be a lot of work
Looking forward to this build. Can’t wait to see how you tackle the floor. Loving the content you’ve been putting out
I personally love how the back end sits as it is. Maybe a 1 or 2 higher. But it looks badass as is. Keep up the good work. You've got me hooked. I watch your videos every night! You got aome serious talent especially considering your doing it in a garage without a lift.
You've done it again my friend lovely
You just made it easier for me when I get my hands on a 4 door hardtop bonneville. I've put late model bdoy frames under the 62 - 64 impalas. But damn that's sick
That body sitting on there real nice. You a smart guy and figuring shit out by urself lifting body's on frames and shit.
Man... this is a dream build of mine. As much as I like SPN and baby. Mine would have to be done in a silver metallic flaked victory red. She would get a cammed 496, a built 4L80 and AWD. Would love to see you hot rod out a 70s Trans am, one of my favorite rides and I know your take on it will be amazing
Awesome thank y'all
At 4:52 it looks like a mouse runs under your car 😂😂😂. Dude was trying to figure out what happened to his home
My best bud in high school drove a '67 SS that he had painted Corvette Yellow. After 3 years of everyone calling it the 'bananamobile' he had it painted metallic blue. A week later he t-boned a van that ran a red light.

i need to find that chassis as well now.. would be a nice swap for my 1948 fleetmaster
Fire bro! 🔥
you and donut media is rly all I watch on youtube 😂
Were is the 57chevy at
That vid will be out Friday!
Can't wait to see it again that's my favorite car in the world.
Casey why can't you just find a 96 impala and Get the floor pan out of that one and use it for the 67?
Amazing job my friend God job
This is such a badass build. I'm sure you know what you're doing but I would have used longer pieces of rectangular tubing for the frame stretch.
It’s getting long fish plates added so the piece i added was more then i even needed
You gotta use that pillow case for the seat interior
