Looks like the combine has had quite the journey fixed, broken, and fixed again! It's amazing how resilience plays a role in farming. Keep pushing through
Farmers harvest when their crops are ready. You never know when your weather could turn. And once it’s ‘go time’ you work till it’s done (unless your equipment gives you trouble). People who never farmed or did not come from farming families don’t realize what a small window farmers sometimes work in. Watching those soy beans flowing into the truck is satisfying. I pray that your harvest was all you prayed for despite the wash outs.

I noticed Tiffany's white runner's when the Header got unlocked when you were done, glad she keeps you company , Harvest can be long day's, nice to have company.. ❤️

Man I love being a member and getting these videos really just makes my day when I go to lunch and see that sonne farms has posted a video. Top? Notch camera skills 2 cole. Improving with every video. Stay warm.Have a successful harvest in god bleaa keep up the fantastic videos.
Looks like the weather is holding up for you! I remember some years ago I was working in Rolla North Dakota. On Halloween a storm bringing a winter mix of rain, freezing rain, and snow along with 60 MPH sustained winds. Shut us down from working on AT&T cellphone towers!
Great video.. Congrats on getting beans done. That combine is a hard working fat bottomed girl. She gets lots of.TLC. God.Bless and hope the yields are good.
Gosh darn combine is being a booger this year. Nice they had all the parts ya needed to get ya up and running again, and again, and again. Hope Tiff and Jeff are doing well. Praying corn harvest goes better!!!
Nice to see the combine going again , a few problems getting started but they happen , now the corn , hopefully it goes well and the weather holds out , fingers crossed
I appreciate these videos guys. I’m sure it’s not convenient for you to film everything you do, and even more inconvenient to have to edit and produce videos. So thank you. 🫡
Brian and Cole, please continue to trudge along, just when things were going well, and that happens. Be thankful that the last ones were easy for you to remedy. I'm sure when it happened it felt like the end, but God made it so you could have a fix. Those less fortunate would be so lucky to be able to have a easy fix. Continue to be safe, keep the animals healthy and safe. Continue to keep us informed and have a Happy Halloween!!
Thanks for a great video Cole and Brian. Great content and enjoyable to watch. Wow. The combine is not cooperating with you. Got it fixed and working and then a seal broke and then needed a new feeder chain. Oh my, breakdowns all in a row. Hopefully the combine is off and running now. Sorry for the breakdowns. Hang in there you two. Got the beans done now and off to the races to the corn 🌽 harvest. Busy time for you folks. Hang in there!!!!!!’ Like that scale you put on the new grain cart. A lot more of the UA-cam farmers have those on their grain carts. Tells you the exact weight in your cart and good for figuring yield and production. Good idea to add that scale to your cart. Nice addition. You mentioned Tiffany was fixing meals for you and dad at harvest. Thanks Tiffany. About it I guess. Saw Tiffany in the cab with you Cole. Nice she does some riding with you in the field. About it I guess. Thanks for everything. You both take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Who in the world is worried about weight in South Dakota?😂😂😂 love technology gadgets!! Well I guess I’m doomed I milked several cows on SUNDAYS 😢. I believe Cole and Brain could have made that repair on the shaker arms and rubber boots. Pretty nice job but I have helped some guys do it not too bad with a forklift and a long arm extension to bring the series out, I know I am sitting here in my recliner, being a smart A&&. Thanks very much guys.
Some days you just don’t want to end for having so much fun gaining mechanical knowledge, breakdowns suck no matter how small as they all take time to fix and cost money.
Oh my goodness, that was good to get combined back. And then the chain. Pray no break downs during corn harvest. Awesome you can fix a lot of the minor things.
Cant tell you how many times i woulda loved to had another pair of hands while doing a repair in the field...that O ring repair was a peefect example !!! Good to see you 2 team up on that stuff !!!😂
and the show must go on... Regardless of what is happening... In my neck of the woods, a mile long field is unheard of, and I thought Texas was big. Getterdone
Work on Sunday breakdown on Sunday.... Does that mean you are ahead of the game?? No matter, breakdowns suck!! Never seen so much of excitement out of Brian in quite some time.
It's called, preventative, AND FIX IT NOW when breaks, farm life.... Awesome you show others who aren't farm.... Your by yourself, YOU GET NO VACATION or excuses. You farm, plus livestock 24/7/365.....
Is this one of those things where you fix one problem and create two more ? At least you guys are mechanically inclined so you can make lots of the repairs yourself. 👍
Cole could you add the date in your video's? Not every day you record but once in each video. You may ask why, I was from Watertown area and now live in Germany. It's nice to see SD, the farm ground and the weather! Thank you.
the videos are about a week behind when they happened. We have to do that in case weather causes us not to have content for a few days, so we dont run out of videos. We dont want to skip our 3 vids a week schedule
Keep plugging along and we watch btw song of the day overhere in the netherlands Montgomery Gentry whit My Town one of my personal favorites, greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Man, I didn't think you all would ever get going without a breakdown but perseverance wins the day . As our Nation approaches election day I hope if you pray you do so with reverence. Lord I pray for our leaders and I pray for our Nation Lord , I pray for peace watch over us father we love you and ask for your favor on the United States of America God Bless America 🚜🇺🇲
I’m really impressed with how 2 of you handle cattle and how well you take care of them(you take care of the cows and the cows will take care of you), as well as the row cropping. How many of the ArrowQuip systems do you have?
I would be interested to know 1) what percentage of the corn you grow goes for feed for the cattle, 2) what percentage of your total yearly income comes from a) soybeans, b) grain corn and 3) cattle sales? Out of curiosity, about how much does a combine like you run cost, grain cart, 18 wheeler? I am always struck by the sizable investment a rancher must make just to operate a ranch/farm! Thanks for what you do and allowing us to come along to watch!
Looks like the combine has had quite the journey fixed, broken, and fixed again! It's amazing how resilience plays a role in farming. Keep pushing through

The videos are always better when Brian cracks a few one liners.
Your dad is looking good, noticeable weight loss. Keep up what from personal experience is difficult to do.

Yeah, that grain cart can really move!
Cole, your pause at 4:20 speaks volumes hahaha

Every harvest has a story or two. Congrats in finishing beans. Good luck with corn!
Cole you & Brian are amazing at what you can do!
Work on Sunday fix on Monday. That’s been our luck all harvest this year.
