that was a very enjoyable video JP. I share your frustration with the Redwings, they are so flighty. We get loads of them because of the hawthorns , and they make such a noise when we not near them. Get close and they shut up and fly off immediately to next copse of hawthorn and then return when we turn our backs!😃
Love all those bushcraft and historical origins such as the native Red Indian thunderbird story for Silver Birch . Simply captivating bud 👍❤️ If you travel near Oxfordshire I would love to show you round our local nature reserve as it has a lot of commonality with Hatfield Forest but different again, as they all are of course. Goldcrest / Firecrest those are wonderful little birds. Tiny tots of the uk bird world. Had a close encounter once with a goldcrest once whilst I was taking a leak in a bush once !🤣 take care 🙏
What another beautiful walk that was and very educational loved it thanks jp that's it jp keeping us guessing 😀 ❤❤❤

December 2023.
Looking forward to Christmas Time.
Should be great Rob! ❤🤗❤
Thanks.
Oh yeah.
Come to think of Christmas.
I have heard of The Victorian Era Novel called A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens. 19th December 1843.
1843
English author Charles Dickens, a popular British novelist, published his classic novella, A Christmas Carol, the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, in 1843. During this time, known as the Victorian period, books were produced cheaply and novels considered working-class entertainment.
