Hi Ron thank you so much for your kind comment I really appreciate it 🫶 … there’s lots of books on tree ID books but I suggest a Collins book on tree identification first, they are well priced and have great pictures and descriptions in plus there’s a book Called the secret lives of trees which is most interesting too that’s on audible too, the tree is a very complex sentient being and believe it or not sociable and can transfer nutrients to each other and communicate with each other also their relationship with fungi is mind boggling 🤯 believe it or not this video when I downloaded all the footage was 2 and a half hours long lol 😂 I had to cut so much out then I thought sod it its 55 mins long it’s going up just to do the place justice 😂… thanks again for watching 🤗❤️
On UA-cam is a 90 minute documentary film called History of the British Police Force. Told by Brain Cox. The Narrator. It starts with Over a thousand years ago, Anglo-Saxon Kings Ruled over Britain, and kept good order, which they called Keeping the Peace. You will also generally see Policing in Victorian Era Times. 1837-1901.
Sir Robert Peel (1788-1850) a Skillful Politican became Home Secretary in 1822, and carefully made police reforms without arousing the public fear of intimidation. He believed in crime prevention rather than relieving on punishment as a deterrent. In 1829, Legislation was passed by Parliament to establish the Metropolitan Police in London. A single Force for an area roughly within a circle of seven miles from the centre of London. Sir Charles Rowan and Sir Richard Mayne became the first joint Commissioners with their headquarters in for Whitehall Place known as Scotland Yard.

I have a Hardback DORLING KINDERSLEY DK EYEWITNESS GUIDES Book of CRIME & DETECTION. Discover the changing nature of crime, from prehistoric times to the present day, and the fascinating methods of its detection.
Pages 14 & 15. Bounty hunters and thief takers. WHETHER BOUNTY HUNTERS in the US Wild West, or thief takers in 18th - century Britain, there have always been people ready to catch criminals as long as rich rewards are on offer. There were few sherrifs in the new, 19th - century towns of the United States, so bounty hunters flourished as rough - and - ready peace - keepers. Thief taking became popular in England after the passing of the Highwayman Act in 1692. This act offered large rewards for the capture of highwaymen and other criminals. If the thief takers were criminals themselves, they would be granted a free pardon for bringing in the accused. This meant that it was easy for a guilty person to send an innocent one to the gallows.

A very interesting man and a proper rouge! There’s a couple of documentaries on him here on UA-cam I’ve watched well worth a search for!
Thank you.
❤ Lovley couple loving the thumbnail pic bless ya both👩❤️💋👨👩❤️👨😊.
Aww 🥰 thank you Sammy! Lots of love to you and Gypsy 🤗🫶🤗❤️xx
What a gorgeous forest ♥️ sorry it’s taken a short while for me to watch I’m behind on UA-cam at the moment as my internets been playing up 🙄
Hi hun! how's you? Thank you for watching, it's lovely you would love it! x
@@JPLamoureuxsTravels I’m doing well thanks JP I’m getting back into my UW business and helping people save money makes me happy so all is good again here 👍 still got loads of stuff going on house wise but it will all come together I’m sure 👍
@@grandmawandersoff aw great stuff hun, all will come together in the end 😊 x
A fantastic place indeed. I wondered if you'd rock up again at some stage. 🙂
I’ll be back as arnie said buddy nice to go back and everyone gave me a lovely welcome 🙏🏼 x I hope you are great x JP
@JPLamoureuxsTravels All good sir. Also, for some reason, l couldn't post on the Gibralter Point vid. The little standalone hide near the viewpoint is called 'Lill's Hut' which is a former gun emplacement my grandfather used for storing kit. He handed it over to Julian Pettipher and it became a hide.
I know the place.
Have been there quite a few times.
Fabulous isn’t it I’ve spent days and weeks there teaching outdoor skills over many weekends it’s a home from home and most certainly my favourite place in Essex 👍
Thank you.
Lovely video jp
Thanks for watching glad you liked it! I love it there so much and I hope it showed 🤗🫶🤗
Absolutely amazing video JP, your knowledge is fantastic. Just wondering if you might have a recommendation for a good book on trees. Keep up the great work my friend. Ron
@@JPLamoureuxsTravels Thanks for coming back to me JP, you are a legend my friend
My Pleasure@@ron8606 !! 😉👍🏼
I’ll give that a watch! Thanks for the tip 👍
You're very welcome.
Thousands of people left the countrysides to look for work in cities like London.
Its all to do with the Policing.
Ooo er, what a thumbnail ❤❤❤
Well you know Mistletoe n that nearly Christmas eh!!! Lol x
Never fails to amaze me how fragile the trees are in the high winds , always sad to see them on the ground .
Me too I know It’s the end but it’s rebirth too Tina the insect and fungi life it will sustain is amazing a lot of trees will just comeback from their roots or stump like the Sycamore in sycamore gap that some idiot cut down😢 she will shoot up sun shoots and in a hundred years be magnificent once again 🤗🙏🏼🫶

Aww that’s lovely lol 🤗🥰 foxes are beautiful creatures aren’t they I have a plan to do a video on foxes 🦊 as I know a great spot where you can see them all the time. I once did a tv show on tracking foxes in urban areas, was there all day but they didn’t use the footage, it was enjoyable and I got fed and took the crew right up onto an urban fox and they didn’t use the footage 🤦🏼♂️ oh well lol 😂 I’ll be famous one day! 😂… thanks for watching Linda! 🤗🫶🤗
@@JPLamoureuxsTravels we have a Fox that comes from the park beside us, but I always miss it. My mum stays beside our park and one day she saw 2 of them in her garden playing 😊. A hope you do a video of them 👍
