As now we can spoil it... Well as I said in the previous video: I Loved the movie and definitely is the best of the saga. Now with spoilers (Don't read if you havent seen the movie) Loved the parts with Maria and Shadow, mainly she playing the guitar in a scene that reminded me of those indie films that exist, with the photography being beautiful alongside with the 70s music. About her death, it was obvious they weren't gonna kill her like in the games, instead it was an explosion as all people expected in the trailers but impactful. Black Doom teased in the exposition of Shadow backstory was a moment I loved. Live and Learn was just epic after the fight in the moon. Tails and Knuckles were great. As a Mexican who watched telenovelas with my family, I LOLed hard with the scenes of Robotnik/watching one. Dr. Eggman saying an announcement and goodbye Agent Stone was emotional. The music of Sonic 06 was referenced a lot by the way and I loved it. Amy and Metal Sonic at the end made me scream since I'm a big fan of them, and I think 2026-2027 could be the year of Amy, like Shadow had. Agent Rockwell not being Rouge, was a thing I liked since I think it wasn't the time and gives the possible Shadow spinoff ways to introduce her and Omega (Who by the way is one of my favorite characters of Team Dark) With all of this, a Sonic Heroes adaptation is nearer than ever before, and I cant wait for that, since I loved that game as a 7 year old, in early 2005. The only part I didnt like, it was the pacing a little bit, since it was too fast sometimes.
While I'm still disappointed that Maria's death wasn't as intentional as the games, I'm glad they still made it so it was absolutely GUN's fault, seems they are ramping up the death and mayhem though.
In terms of eggman dying, I think they can write around it in the future. Chaos does not need to be summoned by eggman, can be just be released by random people, deadly six have their own motivations and infinite could just be someone corrupted. I know this is rough but dr. eggman does not necessarily need to be an anchor. I mean, these movies clearly have not problem with changing around parts with origins.
Thing is eggman is a pretty important and iconic part of the franchise on the same level of sonic himself, especially with how Jim has elevated the role. Eggman is gonna have to return in later films and literally all of the villains you just mentioned minus chaos can't carry a movie

I know not everyone is going to like the change to shadows backstory but I personally absolutely loved it. It didn’t give him that bullshit movie amnesia that has been a movie trope for years now, it instead let him reminisce about Maria and giving us tidbits sprinkled throughout.
I always maintained they could do the personality backup thing they did in the Archie series. Imagine a scene in film 4 where its revealed that theres a line of Eggman bodies of different types, and the personality data is being downloaded into a body played by Willem Dafoe.
Probably one of my favorite and more nuanced takes of robotnik I've seen in a while. I was iffy about jim carrey at first but he grew into a respectable Eggman.
I think that a new Robotnik/Eggman will return. A different version from another realm with different traits and look. Who would build Metal Sonics? We had Eggman Nega in games.

How Metal Sonic dragged him out of that peaceful lovely life in that cute village with his new wooden-botik daughter, mind broken back into being Eggman, His sacrifice may be chipped at, but it'll give us a new bitter moment. We even still have a lanky counterpart that can take over the Starline spot as the man who orders the Metals to do it.

They can bring him back as Mr Tinker, fully Fat suited up, jolly helpful funny man who makes little toys in a little village for the kids. Doesn't even have to be in the next movie. Roll the bringing back Mr Tinker in with the Sonic Forces storyline, flipping the events, and making the deranged mentality he showed when he first came back be the reason why he wins at the start of Forces. Heck they can do a whole subplot of Sonic failing to save Mr Tinker affecting his ego, sorta similar to how he thought his Donut Lord Dad was hurt. The next movie, in my opinion, with all the extra Metal Sonics, could be a Heros storyline, with Metal Sonic sending his clones after sonic and the gang.
i kinda wish final rush was created in the movie, and the fact that the chaos emeralds weren't utilized there was so much potential for shadow to be so much cooler. I WANTED KEANU REEVES TO SHOUT CHAOS CONTROL, sadly we didn't get it, his abilities weren't put much on, I wish I also mad more screentime with him, and I also wish the movie was a bit more serious, I think it kind of set me off a bit.

I hugely agree. It feels force setup to show up in another film if they did that, and it'll do too much. Which is one of the main issues Marvel suffered with, and as Jeff Fowler said. It's better to see those fan favorites do more and play into the story rather than being there for cheers then disappears through out the film to be wasted for the sake of needing a fan favorite being there.

Mephiles could work as kind of a background villain. Someone who is manipulating other villains to do his dirty work and waits for the right moment to strike on his own. That's kind of what he what he was in Sonic 06

It would make sense if Rouge was hiding herself with a human disguise but was always there as a respected GUN agent. It was pretty strange that the Gun commander was always in casual kid-appropriate restaurants and had his last appearance in a girl-centered Chao space, rather than bars. He also was a critical member overlooking the aliens that come to Earth and trusted them a lot more than any other GUN agent we have seen in this series.

I love that Amy and metal are coming into the movie universe but I really wish they brought silver in. But realistically Ik they won’t bring silver and blaze in until sonic 5 or 6. We know they are coming which is some comfort.

SPOILERS Okay here's my suggestion on how we can continue after Robotnik's sacrifice: You know how in the current lore of the games the name Eggman was Sonic's nickname for him (same as in the movies) but Ivo takes it as his own? Well what if Agent Stone decides to take Robotnik's mantle, seeking to "save the world" by conquering it, taking the title name of Dr. Eggman. While Jim Carrey may not be able to stick forever, Lee Majdoub has definitelly been enjoying his time with the films and really embraced the Sonic fan base. I feel a lot of people would enjoy seeing him stick around and I could totally see him hamming it up to match his idol

It would make sense if Rouge was hiding herself with a human disguise but was always there as a respected GUN agent. It was pretty strange that the Gun commander was always in casual kid-appropriate restaurants and had his last appearance in a girl-centered Chao space, rather than bars.
He also was a critical member overlooking the aliens that come to Earth and trusted them a lot more than any other GUN agent we have seen in this series.

I was about to comment on what Paramount would do to make me forgive them for skipping Amy again and stealing her role again, but it seems UA-cam's braindead moderation AI doesn't like it, so I will say this: The writers better have creative ideas when it comes to Amy, I'm very special with whom writes my favorite character and IF it's true about her being a focal point in movie 4, they better give her the respect she needs, I'm at a point where my patience has ran out with this movie franchise, I'm sick of the Year of Shadow, and the wait better be worth it considering it's 3 years of my life I have to wait.

I love that Amy and metal are coming into the movie universe but I really wish they brought silver in. But realistically Ik they won’t bring silver and blaze in until sonic 5 or 6. We know they are coming which is some comfort.
Metal Sonic would likely come in with Silver and Blaze since the most advanced one in a Sonic CD plot would be one from the future.
And because we know that Metal Sonic is insane, Mephiles could easily manipulate him into thinking Sonic was the cause of this horrible future.

You know how in the current lore of the games the name Eggman was Sonic's nickname for him (same as in the movies) but Ivo takes it as his own?
Well what if Agent Stone decides to take Robotnik's mantle, seeking to "save the world" by conquering it, taking the title name of Dr. Eggman. While Jim Carrey may not be able to stick forever, Lee Majdoub has definitelly been enjoying his time with the films and really embraced the Sonic fan base. I feel a lot of people would enjoy seeing him stick around and I could totally see him hamming it up to match his idol
