The location of the blur brush hasn't changed and it still requires an admin to enable it, which may be why you're not seeing it in the Showcase Edit Toolbar. If that's not the problem, please reach out to the support team who can better help isolate the problem to find your solution.
Hi, is it possible to reduce or remove the blur at the tripod foot (which is added automatically)? If I make my virtual tour directly from the Ricoh Theta application (my camera model), there is this blur between each shot.
Hi. Unfortunately, there's no way to remove the blur from that area, though it is slightly reduced when using 360 cameras like Ricoh as opposed to something like the Pro2. There are platform partners, (I believe MPembed and MPskin can do this), that allow you to place a logo/sticker over that area so you don't have a blurry spot.
This video is very old and I do need to make a new one, but you should have access to the blur tool. You may just need to activate it first in your account settings. Go to Settings > Spaces > activate the blur brush.
@@WillieW555 Hi, you may want to reach out to the support team so they can have a closer look at your account. The Blur Brush is available in the Starter Plan. First, the tool has to be enabled on the Settings > Spaces page.
When i do a scan and i dont want to have people to zoom total in on a device/items. Can matterport tool blur on haft way our set a role have much you can zoom in
@@Danish-IT-guy Makes sense, thanks for expanding on that. So the blur tool was designed to completely blur and not just partially blur. I think even if you just do a single pass with the blur brush to try to minimize the amount of blur, it will probably still be more blurry than you're hoping to get. As for zoom, the only way to control it is to completely disable the visitor's ability to zoom in at all by using a URL parameter. Check out this support article - support.matterport.com/s/article/URL-Parameters?language=en_US - and search for "nozoom" for more information.
Correct, at this time there's no way to undo a blur that's been applied. The only option is to reprocess the model data. If you have any issues or no longer have access to the model data, please contact support@matterport.com.
@@filintesak6547 The interface has changed since this video was created. Enabling the Blur Brush is in Settings > Spaces. If you don't see it in there, you may not have the correct access permissions. In that case, I would reach out to the support team at support@matterport.com for further assistance.
A closer look at your model would be required to see exactly what's going on here. I would reach out to support@matterport.com. If you don't mind sharing your model link here publicly, I'm happy to have a look.
I am uploading directly to the home builders Matterport account and they have blur disabled. I assume I would have to then re-upload to my Matterport account and blur and then transfer that back to them correct?
That is correct. Alternatively, you could request they enable the blur tool so that you can use it. If they have any concerns they can turn it off again once you're done.
Great video thank you. I am being asked by a client to remove some outlets from a wall where a tv should go as well as removing the matterport reflection in the shower door. Any way I can do this other than using the blur tool? Thanks for your help.
The blur brush is still going through changes. We just began a progressive rollout of a suggestions feature within the blur brush and there's more to come so the "beta" tag will likely stay for a little while longer.
Finally., it’s great to see more features like this! Keep them coming! Thanks
Finally. Very good update
A very useful tool. Another extremely helpful video Amir. Thanks.
Love it! Thanks for releasing this feature!
Where is this now @matterport?

It is now in Spaces, not 'Manage' like it says in the video.
It is March 2023, now not under Manage, it has been moved to Spaces tab.

Can the blur tool be used in 360 photo place in the virtual tour ?
