I just took the plunge and purchased one. My wife and I just finished assembly and I agree - it is pretty simple. It took us a while to do it - about 90 minutes - but it wasn't difficult at all. I'm excited to do our first cook on it this weekend.
Weird, mine has the romex that is covering the wiring on the left front of the grill not the left rear. Also how much does your lid overlap when closed. Mine barely does.
@@biscuit325 pellet grills have a more milder smoke compared to to the Masterbuilt gravity. It all depends on the mood or what you like. I lean toward the Masterbuilt since I like more smoke Flavor.
Normally you are looking at 1 pound of pellets per hour. Sometimes less but very rarely more 1.25 pounds per hour. This grill holds heat very well. So 40 pounds of pellets can usually last 40 hours of cooking time. Depends on the weather and grill you use.

Buy some blackstone magnet hooks. You can use them to hang the cord and all kinds of tools if you want. Great review.
Where is the cap for the chimney?

I see that Masterbuilt Gravity smoker in the back! The Reqteq looks good though
Yes haha. I have the Mb Gravity as well.. does a great job on grilling and smoking as well.

Recteq baby!
How many 40lb bags of pellets would you have to use to smoke a 9hr Brisket?

Is a front shelf available? My RT 700 has one
Does anyone know if this updated model fits the cold smoker option?
That is a great question. Sorry I don’t have the answer for you. I would recommend emailing or calling Recteq to find out.
