  • Join Meli and I as we rent a car from Triple J car rental on Treasure Cay, The Abacos, Bahamas. We got a JDM Honda Fit Hybrid and started the day by driving past Marsh Harbour and all the way down to Schooner Bay to see a Rybovich for a client. After that we took the car over to Little Harbour and Pete's Pub for some lunch and a drink. We enjoyed a relaxing afternoon there with some food and even saw a Sea Hare which I have never heard of before. After Pete's Pub we went down the road to Cherokee Sound to see the Long Dock and have a chill afternoon. I tried to incorporate more drone footage into the video to make it more interesting for the viewers. Let me know if yall like the addition of that into the videos.
As always, please let me know if I can be a resource for anything boating or Bahamas related. My contact information is below.

I stayed in that VRBO right near the long dock last summer. The rental car was a beater and the drive south out of Marsh Harbor did have that look of post disaster. Despite all that it was still the best vacation I’ve ever had. I walked up and down the long dock about 30 times. Pete’s pub was great, we walked back to the old lighthouse and then found a great snorkeling spot near there. Little Harbor is a beautiful place. We explored the island a bit, we managed to find sawmill sink and Dan’s cave. We drove all the way to Sandy Point and ate at Nancy’s. We also spent a day at guana cay.

Thats really cool. Buy I will say, if there are people who will not come to the Bahama's because the trees are not beautiful, then they need to stay in their first world eutopia and leave the Bahamas to those of us who love and appreciate it........lol. Great video.

As a sidenote, I usually rent a vehicle in marsh so I can provision and drive down to TC. I have used Rental Wheels twice now and have found them to be reasonably priced with exceptional service and communication. Both of my rentals were new cars and the vehicle was waiting for me at the airport. Very pleased with them. Just putting that out there.

I’m a bit older than you Nick, so I forgive you for not getting the “Gilligan’s Island” vibe that I get from Pete’s Pub. lol
It was certainly nice meeting you and your lovely wife at the BBC bar back in April.
    Cheers,
    Tad

I highly recommend reading Randolph's journal from his family's journey to the Abacos and Little Harbour. Its a fantastic story
