There was a huge controversy regarding its Release but There are so many videos on that already , I wanted to make a video I had never seen before.

@@ssmfetti that's definitely a dope idea. frank is such a private guy there's hardly any information about the behind the scenes drama.. atleast not enough for me to be comfortable enough to drop a well researched Video.. I think another reason he was able to trick his label is because he is already a recluse..all they wanted was a frank ocean project so they could cash out.. guess he was 5 steps ahead of them the Whole time

@@geekboutit Okay, you might could possibly find out more on how other artists deal with labels during album time. Do the artists bring the music to the label for approval? Or whatever the artist brings is all the labels get? Because that could be the key factor. Nobody really knows how the music will perform upon release but I could imagine if the labels were more involved, this wouldn’t be possible. But then again, I think it depends on how the money is being allotted. It seems as if Frank Ocean pulled all the strings himself without the label having input. The studio time, producers, features, etc.. As some artists are required to record under facilities approved by the label. Producers are sometimes brought in by the label, as well as the money allocated for the features. I think Frank Ocean is different as he had pull in the industry because not even labels could force someone like Beyoncé to work with you.
