that bass players is having the best time of his life
Especially at 2:30, where you can see him ghost-slapping for some reason.
I could live a thousand lifetimes and still never be as cool as these kids are at their age.
These kids are having so much fun with this classic! The bass player is dancing and singing along, the back-up singers are dancing… the energy is electric! But then again, how can you not dance and have fun with this one? 😀 I continue to be amazed by how good the School of Rock kids are!
Just had to pop back in and add to my comment! I watched the video again (how could I not with the energy this one gives off! 😀), and I realized just how good the bass player is! Man, he was wailing on that thing… the licks he was putting down were so good! Kudos young man, you put the groove in this one and I salute you! 🫡
I hope they all have success! One of the biggest joys in life is a job you love. Makes everything better.
You can see they are having a lot of fun doing this.
Best bass player around, right there. Everyone is talented as hell too.
I’m almost 70 and remember when this song first came out and to see todays performers having this much fun with it is amazing
So cool to see the younger generation having fun with same music I did at their age 40 years ago. SUPER job everyone!!
I was going to say this myself, Yup, those wher good times and these kids are really good! Great performance from everyone and thats including the sound tech, all part of S.O.R
Same words from here
the bass player killt it!!! great
Thanks!!
@@kobetabulinar4351 Great job !
SLAPPIN THE BASS!! 👍
FINALLY!!! Someone gets this song. The number of covers of this tune on UA-cam that just do not deliver would astound you. This group gets it!! Everyone of them embodies this tune. The keyboardist nails it with her movements. This song is a duet and must be a duet. The vocals are two part. There is only one group who does this tune better and that is Chic!! It would have been better had they had a horn section here. This is one of the best tunes School of Rock has posted. Great job!! Great vocals!! and, finally, a cover worthy of the original. I love the fall off on the vocals. Great touch. I hope Chic and Nile Rodgers see this version. I will bet that they will be impressed!
There’s me on the blue shirt!!
Arrasando!!!
Bass player is killing it! Actually they are all great.
Okay. I have now watched this at least a dozen times over the last couple of weeks, and it doesn't get old! The energy and enthusiasm of the performers is infectious, especially the singers and the bass player. For me, this is the best version of "Le Freak" I have heard (and seen).
never seen such group of animated and happy people even the drummer had a big smile at the end
Kobe was really feeling this one, what a legend
This channel is FAR more entertaining than any talent TV show. ❤
Another SoR classic. With a funky bass player. Excellent !
Thank youuu!!
@@kobetabulinar4351 This isn't what I'd call an instrumental song but you absolutely nailed it. Even in a performance with absolutely no weak links, you stood out.
They all looked like they are having a blast.
These young people are really good and I bet they LOVE doing this older music.
Denali, Mia nail this!!
I have to watch this periodically to lighten my mood.
These kids give me hopes, we may not be doomed! The bass guy is so into it that you could teletransport him to that beautiful time when we were all living without smart things and ...feeling home!
Nile Rogers will love it. The bass player NAiled that !!
Oh bass line! Such a ride.
We took ourselves much more seriously than that out on the floor in the 70’s. I prefer your way. Don’t ever lose that spark, kids.
When you're young, the energy flows easily.
Great job, everyone! Looks like it was fun to record. Kobe, you were an absolute BEAST on that bass! Bernard Edwards would be proud.
I keep coming back to this video because it's sheer energetic joy and really helps motivate me to work out. Honestly every one of you is off the charts with talent but Kobe, dude, you are stratospheric. You make what is a very complex bass line sound effortless. I truly hope someone shows this to Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards because you did them so much justice in this performance plus your own unbelievable skill. I hope to see more of you in years to come. Happy 20th birthday for the 20th! Awesome video you guys, this is what music is all about. :)))
Denali and Mia are really, really dope and a fun show. Kobe has got…funk!
The ENERGY, the ATTITUDE conveyed by the two female vocalists is inspired and inspiring!!
THEY, as well as their bandmates are all in the zone, for "shur."
They all have STAGE presence, on top of their musicianship.
You guys make a hard job look sooo easy.
On a scale of 0 to 10 : 11
You guys are the antidote to the bad news coming out of Washington D.C. almost everyday.
thank you : )

They’re having way too much fun! Good old school music from my high school days. Thanks for keeping good and fun music alive.
That's just awesome! Best version I've heard, super high energy and everybody seems to be having soooo much fun. The dual chick lead/dual boy backup singer arrangement works to perfection, and the instrumentals are sublime. Just an amazing amount of talent in the School of Rock kids the last few years, and not just the Allstars. Also have to call out the keyboardest and bassist - their energy is just amazing. Usually I just listen to SoR in the background as I work but I always stop and watch this one - the pure joy expressed by everyone is uplifting and contagious!
Excellent. Amazing bass. Amazing singers. I have played this at least a dozen times.
I love the way they just let it go and be themselves. This was wonderful. Such a good job. Stay with it because you really got what it takes.
That bassist is feelin it! Get it!
I truly love how much fun they're having with this song. Watching them enjoy the music is the best part.
I wish UA-cam had a "Love" emoji! These young people made me smile!
As a huge Chic fan especially of Bernard Edwards I saw the title and had to watch and these kids didn't disappoint 😀 👌
Love how the entire ensemble is basically dancing around...
...and also the random chess set.
Love love love this as ALWAYS but this one is extra cool. Shout out to the drummer for keeping that classic grove flowing effortlessly. (Well, effortlessly for the listener.)
blown away by how talented they all are, this is as good as the original plus they are having fun! I would pay to see them in concert.
You guys and gals nailed it and had some fun doing it 🥰
Got to have a few disco classics added to their performance list. Every member is spot on. The two girls singing are absolutely awesome. Sure remember those days of 1978-79 when this was out (#1 for six weeks)
I absolutely hated disco but I LOVE this song. Although I do like this version better than Chic's but both are super feel-good songs.
Love it ! I can feel the energy , the fun and your overall performance is soooooo good ! You are all GREAT !!!
Wow!!! Denali, Mia, and Gabby sweep me off my feet! 😘😘😘
Isn't it great to see these young musicians enjoying their music so much, everyone involved and rocking along, great to see and one of the best performances of this song for a long time. Congrats to all. Great to watch.
It's awesome seeing a new generation enjoying this old music. ILOVE IT!!
These videos are a guilty treat for me, but the bass player and the singers are superb!
Thank youuuu!!
Wonderful, fantastic cover. Love it. Bass player really got it!
Several, as in a lot, of folks from my high school band from the late 70s ended up as session players in LA and some played with touring bands. So I know of which I speak. I have always thought the bass player was the hippest MF in the room. Still do. This guy is my proof that it is a universal truth.
Such big props man thank youu!
Such talent! Why doesn't this group have a recording contract? This version is as good as the original. Kudo's to the arranger, sound engineer and all who work hard to put these incredible videos together.
Love what this school does! Promote and encourage self confidence. Don what makes you happy and don’t ask for approval
Always enjoy this song and thinking about the story behind it, and how Niles changed it from 'FOff' to 'Freak Out'.
Great music, amazing vocals and fantastic musicians !
Back in the day I wasn't a big fan of disco but I was moving on this one 🕺😅👏
Outstanding, high energy performance! Thank you!
Disco is alive and well with the School of Rock! Great job by everyone, and great job on the mixer!
The future of rock in it's many forms is in good hands.
Great and wonderful the bass
The energy is amazing. Everyone seems to enjoy this one so much, really bringing up the mood.
Video really captures the joy (if not the clothes) of the Disco Era . . .
So much feeling from them! That was great!
I can't figure out why I enjoy this particular performance so much. I like so many but this one I watch often.
great original performance
This is so adourable. You can feel the vibe, they are so mich into this song. Thank you so much for sharing this enjoyment!
I love the dancing!!!
Such a fun video! I love seeing the kids jamming to tunes that I grew up with.
YES! Nailed it! Fun, Funky and full of energy. Just the way this song should be and bst of all everyone was having so much fun doing it! Well done
that bassist is FEELIN it
❤
We should all thank the door man of Studio 54 for this classic.
Awesome, great energy and fun! And the bass guitarist's groove is next level :)
Another fine performance and fun to watch, you kids got the groove going on
como é bom ver pessoas nova tocando uma velha boa musica!!!
Go bass go !!! U are great man !!!
Complimenti ragazzi....specialmente Kobe
That bass solo was lovely. Rest of the song was great, but that stood out as exceptional.
Thank you so much!
Bass player definitely crushed it

That bass - so. freakin. sweet.
Disco!!!☺☺😍😍 cool, my era! Great job!
Perfect rendition!!
I greatly appreciate surching for latest S.O.R performances
Always entertaining!
I just came from the Pixies and Ah-ha covers to a Chic cover. What a wonderful channel this is. My only complaint is whoever mixed this needed to bump up that wonderful bass just a tad (this IS a disco song, after all). Loved how everyone was having fun with this one!
Love how much fun they have❤
Amazing! ❤❤❤
TALENT, TALENT, AND TALENT 👏👏👏👏
This is what you get when the Tiktok/IG generation meets 70's RnB/Soul music. Wow!!!👏👏👏👏👏
Awesome job guys n gals 👍
Just discovered these kids, this is superb
ΜΠΡΑΒΟ ΠΟΛΥ ΚΑΛΗ ΠΡΟΣΠΑΘΕΙΑ
Awesome!!
Something I always wonder in the SoR videos: are the students so invested in music that they naturally find songs from the '60s, '70s, and '80s that appeal to them, or are they heavily influenced by their instructors, along the lines "This is the music I like, and darn it, you kids are going to learn to play it!"?
Hey! I'm one of the keys players in the video. Our directors choose our songs for us which is a great way for us to expand our musical library, but also a lot of my school of rock friends and myself get into old music outside of the program
great job guys one of my favourite school of rock performances
Great studio energy, to cover a song that certainty stands on its own and has for decades.
I wonder if any of them know that "54" stands for Studio 54. And what Studio 54 was in its day?...
Oustanding vocals and band.
Nailed it.
Oh what a joy..🎉
Congratulations, i am from peruvian❤❤
