Love your presentation style, and that you're not giving an explicit deck list, just giving a framework. Helps teach deck building. Pygmy Kavu really stands out, it fits in so well. Thank you algorithm for showing me your channel.
This seems awesome! I am building this deck and started the same way you did. No cheesy infinite BS. Only think I want to do is a few tutors for primal vigor because that card is HILARIOUS in this deck 😂
New to the channel. I like your presentation style, and your voice makes for some excellent listening. That said, I just build this deck for myself a few days ago, and came here hoping for some tips. There isn't really anything here that isn't on the EDHRec page for this commander, which I think could really help set your content apart. I know random criticism from strangers is...a mixed bag at best, but I wish this channel the best, and, as a great man once said, "We will be watching your career with great interest!"
Heres a combo for rendmaw Rendmaw + cloudstone curio + any 2 artifact creatures that cost 0 mana (there are 4, memnite, ornithopter, phyrexian walker and shield sphere). Cloudstone curio doesn't trigger on the 0 cost artifact creatures, but it does trigger on the birds made by rendmaw
Thanks a lot for your video i loved it ! i had a question about the commander tho, since its written "the tokens are goaded in another line does it means that all the tokens of the game are goaded or just the birds ? since its not written as "Those tokens are goaded"
Glad you like it! It's just the bird tokens that Rendmaw makes that are goaded, other tokens won't be effected. The goaded bit is part of the ability resolving, so its only tokens made then that get goaded until end of game. Agree it's not super clear, am assuming there must be a rules reason for it to be worded that way.
You are correct, goading would not work. But since the crows come in tapped, you'll still be able to strike first with all of your crows and they still won't be able to block with any of them. So ideally at that point you should be in a good position to finish them off.
I’m building The Jolly Balloon Man and Valgavoth Harrower of Souls (basically jamming my Solphim and Sheoldred decks into one shell lol), but Rendmaw was definitely the other commander I was interested in since its unique. This looks like a really good time and also pretty affordable outside of things like Urborg. Are there any cards you’d throw in here if price wasn’t an obstacle that you haven’t already included?

Love that laid out options as opposed to a hard deck list. Makes the deck I build feel more like my own.
Would absolutely love more videos like this. One of if not the best deck building video i have seen

This is amazing! I wanted to build this commander but had no idea where to start. Just what I was looking for!

This is my favourite Commander in the set.

This is an awesome build! 😊
Very Good Job!
You can also run Reap in Hansk!

I was wondering if Debtors' Knell and Lurking Predators work with the commander seeing that they don't say play on the card? 🤔🤷♂️
No it doesn't. Lurking Pred "puts on the battlefield" rendmaw needs you to "play" or "cast" cards.
@@zombieaflictiongaming2024 Thanks for that, I also had hopes for snow but he said that does not work as well.
Only bird tokens are goded? Or all tokens?
Bower Passage, Grist the Hunger Tide, Revenge of Ravens :D
Once it got down to 1v1 wouldn't goading not work? Your opponent's crows wouldn't have anyone to attack so it wouldn't do anything. Im new to goading

V.A.T.S will win you the game when it goes 1v1. Split second

Gaea's Cradle comes to mind
