Very informative! I feel like I know more than the average man about style, but Raphael keeps surprising me with great tips and tricks unheard of. A man with impeccable style and a wardrobe I'd kill to own myself!
2nd one is the way that I always use it looks very classic and noble styled an of course it is warm you have a very very good channel the exact thing that I thought I couldn't find but you made it real for me! tnx
Nice video, thanks for sharing. Would you please consider making a video explaining the different knots (and how to make them) for neckties? Thank you.
Wow the quality of your videos changed a LOT. I love the change. Great video but I couldn't enjoy it fully due to editing. I would love to see your old videos recreated, with new content and tips.
When using the loop without a tie, put one end through the loop, then twist the "end" of the loop 180°, then put the other end through the loop. Try out which end is best to do first and which way to twist the loop. There's one in four options that looks amazing, but it's hard to describe in a text. Also, a bonus is that you have like an inner and an outer part, so one half warms your neck directly - partially inside of your shirt - while the other part holds your shirt somewhat together from the outside. It really looks elegant, giving your front appearance a nice extra with its cross pattern of knot(s) (somewhat like a diagonal #). Would be glad if you made a video on this!
I love ALL 6! Especially the Count! Thanks to you I'm going to become a classic man! I appreciate your channel very much & will be shopping your store very soon!
Ok, so I observe that you were talking at a much higher level than you're comfortable with, likely, I'm assuming, because you weren't yet familiar with your equipment and so you didn't realize that such a volume wasn't necessary. Now, in 2019, your speech is much more casual and relaxed, and you're able to bring enthusiasm to the subject matter as opposed to the tinge of nervousness I'm sensing here. You're killing it. Keep it up.
Very nice coat! Also, I adore your channel, very informative, as well as entertaining. You certainly deserve far more subscribers! Thank you for the great videos!
I would like to discourage people from doing the first loop method if you may be in a dangerous area, because if someone grabs your scarf, they now completely control your head, and now your neck is in an ever tightening knot.
Maybe no one is ever even going to even read my comment... but, is the "count" knot basically an ascot knot? I found the result very similar, but to do the ascot I proceed another way.
I heard depending on the side of the scarf in front (right or left), one meant death and the other meant authority. Is this something you’ve heard of before?
Lovely scarves. I do once-around-with-knot. Simple but elegant, and doesn't come undone easily - important because you don't want to try adjusting your scarf again after you put your gloves on...
Rafael I love you videos and style - can you do a video on men’s cologne and rare colognes from around the world and what are your favorite colognes??- vielen Dank
"Cause every girl crazy bought a sharp dressed man", hehehe. Looking good. Love it. Life is s much better with a little extra style. Class is a state of mind and you don't need a vault filled with cash it to look good and have panache.
One of the best videos !! I found it very helpful, and I have a question, though a bit out of the subject : what tie knot is the one you're wearing ? :) Thanks !
Lot of tailors should be able to make you a coat aswell. But keep in mind that youll spend about 1500€ or up for good quality- but it will probably last for decades
well, for the first is it needed that the silkscarf is wide large (about 30 o 40 centimetres) and long. this tie is similar to the "over the shoulder": wrap the scarf around the neck a first time (keeping the tip of the scarf very high on the chest), then wrap it again, but the second round should be more loose than the precedent. then, instead of putting the bottomb behind the shoulder, it should cover the arm, starting from the shoulder, like a drape (I hope this is the right word) it's like having a cloak only on the arm. the second way could be done with a scarf that could be thinner than the precedent. It is like a neck tie, but wider. imagine an italian tie but made with a scarf. it is useful (or bettere, i used to tie my scarf in that way) when i wear a coat or a trench with a wide neck or when i wear a coat down jacket. if it is hard to imagine I could provide a draw.
Don't press a double sided pure silk scarf like trousers. It will leave sharp edges. This will not allow air inside the scarf. If you leave the scarf in its natural pipe like shape, it will feel much more comfortable and warmer. Was this helpful.
Hi, when wearing cashmere scarfs how do you avoid having them damaged due to stubble on your neck and chin? I shave regularly but even the next day there is enough roughness to damage a scarf.
Hello Raphel, I wish to compliment you on the website and the channel. It would be most appreciated if you would find the time to discuss thin fabric silk scarfs. Vielen Dank!
It's good to see how much your videos have improved over the years, well done!

Glad to hear that.
Sven is a great teacher of style, as opposed to fashion. I always learn something new from him and enjoy immensely his way of presenting the material.
The very moment I saw you, I trusted you completely with what I was looking for.
Randall Stevens yeah, same experience
Been looking for that "the count" -knot for a loong time..Thank you so much for showing me how to tie it!

Gentleman's Gazette What kind of knot is that on the tan coat beside you?
Gentleman's Gazette Are any of these knots recommended for lightweight silk scarves, similar to WWII pilots and cafe racers of the 60's? Thanks.

I love this video. I was expecting to see the cowboy knot, though! Usually goes with a wet scarf for refreshing the neck under the hot sun! hahah

@Elijah Chavez up to you,but tailor have a bigger range of cloth, whether it was Melton,or tweed,or cashmere, camel and more
always the best. could I suggest two more ties that I use over the coat?
thelatinslayer Sure, go ahead.

Are you including metric units in your new videos?
What is the knot in the thumbnail?
The Knot is perfect unless it is particularly cold then I would choose the loop
Nice idea.

Ratzie01 Not a huge fan of them to be honest. I have a few silk scarves but all are double sided.
Great video. But I actually have one of those short Burberrys. I wanted to see how you would tie them!
nice but you dont show the last one which you wearing after in the last the blue one how can we make it
What type of fabric is the first scarfs made of?
what's the brand of the blue scarf you've got?
Good stuff
It may be better if you're looking in a mirror when you're tying so you can see the finished product
how far he's come
What material scarf you recommend
How do you tie the knot that is to your left on the brown jacket?
