I was physically in the Kirtland Temple on March 27, 2024. Just last week. i was in the first tour of that day, starting at 9am. Which is when the original dedication began in 1836. We were there with Karl Anderson who was instrumental in the re-acquiring of the Temple. It was life altering. We saw the exact location where Jesus appeared. Where Moses, Elias, and Elijah appeared. We sang “The spirit of God” in the assembly hall.There were only 12 of us in this tour. But it felt like there were 2,000 people singing. I am positive that there were actually more than that singing with us. We felt that it was again the Lords house. That again, he would walk in that place.
Brother Palmer ,I heard after moving from Utah to the southeastern part of the USA that when you see a cardinal bird it means that angels are near. We have cardinals down here in the southeast. I had never lived anywhere before where the cardinals live. One day after the move I was feeling particularly lonely and homesick when I saw a beautiful red cardinal outside my breakfast nook window. Seeing the red cardinal really raised my spirits. Soon after that experience our hallmark store had a red cardinal ceramic for sale I bought one for our bookshelves in our family room to remind me that God and his angels are always near even though we are living far from home right now. The males are bright red the females are a much softer more subdued color. Your experience seeing a red cardinal today with your precious sweet Jane on your mind and in your heart made me think that was a sign from your Jane that she was near

I understand your struggles. My youngest 2 are autistic and I'm was a single mom for most of their lives. Be strong, take it day by day. Take time for yourself from time to time. With the blessings of God my daughter was able to serve a full time service mission and was married in the temple last year. My son was able to get his GED and now works part time and is working on getting his driver's license. Small steps one day at a time yields amazing results. The doctors told me my son would never reach the milestones he has. Trust in the Lord's time and personal promptings. Celebrate the small successes and they will build in time. Both my children have hard days but I can take the issue to the Lord in prayer and I can get help to figure out how to help them. Blessings in your life and enjoy your children

I heard so many talks discussing trials and asking what we can do rather than why is this happening to me. Seemed to be a strong theme. Made me question if more serious trials are imminent.

I was also edified and uplifted by President Holland's moving address, the timely remarks of Sister Anette Dennis, and the powerful testimony of Elder Shayne Bowen really stand out in a remarkable General Conference. There are currently 28 temples operating, announced or under construction in Utah. Israel's attack on the consulate certainly has added fuel to the fire and fanned the flames of war and bloodshed in the Mid-East, you are spot in your observation that things could escalate very quickly! My sister died last summer. My sister lived a rough life but she was faithful in the end. while attending a gathering for my father she had just gone to the temple for his being sealed to his wife , not our mother. just weeks before she died. she Gave me a book called Joseph Smith's Kirtland. I just read it.I finished it about two weeks ago. I had just read about the very things that president Nelson spoke about yesterday. almost word for word. The entire thing seams quite significant to me.

When he came out endorsing the shot it was the first time I had Ever been on the other side of an issue with one of the brethren. It. Was. Hard. On top of everything I was accused of losing my testimony because I did not "comply". In actuality my faith and testimony grew as I fought to "stay in the boat" as more and more confusing, to me anyway, decisions were being made. And your channel Brother Palmer helped me to hang on when so much did not make sense to me. So TY again. And I'm still here and getting ready to serve a mission with my husband in Heber Utah. 28 +the new 2… Brother Palmer, I have to share with you an experience I recently had. I would only share it here. I was recently called as the new choir director in my ward. Although musical, I have never led an adult choir. I was scared to death , needless to say. In reviewing my music for Easter the thought came to me to listen to the Living Christ Project . I wasn’t familiar with it previously. As I listened to the music I carefully selected with the spirit burning through me to sing section 5 “Of the Living Christ” and section 8 “ We bear testimony “ . After I had selected it.. the church immediately announced the purchasing of Kirkland Temple. I cried and cried because section 5 of the Living Christ project are the exact words of D&C 110. You can imagine how much I felt the spirit when we sang these words for Easter as well as listening to the Prophet quoting them this last weekend in Conference. I know the things you teach us are of truth. I can never deny the importance of the Kirkland Temple because of what happened to me . If the Lord wanted little old me to know of the truthfulness.. can you imagine what he wants the world to know? Thank you 🙏 Thank you 🙏 Bless little Jane for what she has meant to all of us.❤
I actually pray on my knees that the Lord will not burn people, that He will find another way. I have even pleaded that He’d find another way to deal with those we call wicked. And that if a burning must be, that it will be reserved for only those who are deviously conspiring behind the scenes to destroy this world by bending the minds of many and spreading blood and horror everywhere on earth with a full KNOWLEDGE of what they’re doing. For others who we deem “wicked”-and there but by the grace of God go many of us-for them l plead for Mercy.
Yes, I love all people as well. Once, my husband was praying for our oldest son, who once served a Mission and had a strong testimony of the restored gospel, but who now has left the church. Pleading for mercy for our son, the answer came very strongly from the Lord "Don't you think my love is sufficient to reach out and find your son?" We love our wayward family members, friends and all people of this world. Remember our Father in Heaven knows them and loves them. He will continue to reach out his outstretched arm to all His children. He loves them! Sometimes, he reaches out to them with trials and adversity. (See Doctrine and Covenants 43:24-25). We can pray for all our loved ones and all people that their eyes may be opened. Be comforted that our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ loves them too, even more than we can comprehend. He allows them their agency. Please be comforted that all of us will end up where we will be the most happy and comfortable. Things are rough now. It breaks my heart about the things happening in our world. But hold on and trust in our Heavenly Father and His Plan of Happiness.

I remember when they sent my grandkids home from school due to Covid, I was terrified. For two weeks I woke up every morning afraid that one of my children. My grandchildren was going to get sick. We are raising them and then two weeks later I woke up and I told the Lord I can’t live this way I can’t be afraid. Please take this fear away. It went away and it has never come back. Fear is very tiring.

According to the Church's website, there are 28 temples either open, under construction, or under renovation in Utah. To me the eclipse is a cutting motion across the sky, which is like covenants, can be our demise or promise. covenants it’s a two parts, when you cut something like flesh, your dividing in two. The first part is cutting the second is coming together, healing,uniting, repairing, making complete. But if you don’t keep our covenants then we are cut off or cut in two. So with the eclipse it can be for good or for bad.
I feel like you....just a better connection with Pres. Nelson, and what he said was one of the strongest points I have heard from a prophet in years. Other faiths can make your life better....not the next life. They don't have the keys. Thankfully no mention of LGBTQ problems or attractions.

Well if we’re beginning the 7 years trib we were told somewhere by the 3.5 yr mark we’d be in protection. Zion cities etc. so at this point I feel like we’ve got months before we’re headed somewhere for safety. It will be interesting to see what happens and how and when
I certainly hope that we don't have to go through a 7-year tribulation period. It would be difficult for a lot of members to handle. I probably would do away with all the material things in life and focus on the more important things even if it meant struggling more financially. God knows what I need and He will help me if I put more trust in Him.
@@strawberryme08 I used to think we would go somewhere. I am not sure about that anymore. Unless you live in a big city or not near a temple. I think the temples will be that place of safety. Just like the Saints who gathered at the temple in the Book of Mormon. I am hoping that in the temple over the next months we can be caught up to meet him. I go to the temple, to see him.
Many feel that we are already living in the time of tribulation, which began around April 5 2020 with a hosanna shout. Many calamities began after that day - including covid. 3.5 years later war in Israel started on October 7th 2023, which could mean the period of Great tribulation. So if it is true then we are in the last half of tribulation.
The cardinals might be a way to remind you that Jane is still near, as they are a symbol of connection to loved ones who have gone on into eternity. They are also a symbol of hope and joy. I am so glad you all are able to celebrate Jane, even with the sorrow. It helps so much to have family here and in eternity. Those promises made to Abraham are so important! Next week would have been my son's 23rd birthday, and we still grieve though also still try to celebrate his birthday and joining into our family in mortality. The years have helped to soften the sorrow, so I hope you feel that as you all press forward and carrying on.

I have the same small set and I got the set while I was on my mission in 1999, now you don't have the choice to get a color of style of scripture that you want. I have a regular print-size scripture set that is blue and it is a triple and bible set, and my wife has a blue combo set of scripture set.
The Talks are out Elder Anderson referenced D&C 87 : 8 Also President Nelson referenced Malachi 4:5 in that the word "before" is in blue. This takes you to D&C 77:13 stating how I see it we are in the Seventh Sea

Just watched Christian Homestead channel record. The total eclipse at the Kirtland Temple. Energy was so high the cameraman was weeping. There were 777 souls counted at the Kirkland temple during the eclipse! My son-in-law and granddaughter were two of them.

I think my real 'disconnect' was when there was the "urge" message for the you know what and didn't suggest we ask God for ourselves. We were to trust the corrupt government and health officials!!!!?! they knew best? I sustain my leaders in righteousness. Masks and shots divided families and Saints. I've always followed "the prophet" but have learned to "Hear Him" for myself. I follow Jesus Christ.

Hi Brother Palmer. Thanks for your videos. May I ask a question? What is the difference between the Covenant with Abraham and the Covenant with Abraham Isaac and Jacob and who are the “other group”? You kinda threw me.
The Book of Mormon really IS a covenant with us. Its actually stated as such in the D&C. But along with that is the warning to not take it lightly. The verses that talk about the Book of Mormon being a covenant are B&C Section 84:54-59 (especially verse 57).
In the introduction to section 109 can you see all the prophecies being fulfilled? I thought that was so neat to read this morning. Also, I heard your first video about new Jerusalem being the temples and that was a long time ago. Without the Spirit, the temple is of no consequence, but with the prophesied temple, there will be the Spirit present. Christ said the temple was His house. After Christ’s resurrection, the apostle’s continued to teach and pray at the temple. Ezekiel, Zechariah, and other Old Testament prophets, prophesied of a latter day temple. In Revelation, John prophesied of a Latter day temple.
The Kirtland temple narrative is very problematic. Both Joseph and Oliver NEVER spoke of Moses or Elijah visiting them in the Kirtland temple. They ALWAYS spoke as it being a future event, even after this visitation took place. D&C 77 verses 9 & 14 show John the revelator to be the one who is the Elias who is to come to gather the house of Israel and restore all things. 1st Nephi 14 and 3rd Nephi 20-21 show the actual gathering of Israel occurs after the LDS gentiles reject the fulness of the gospel and the words of Christ brough forth by a righteous servant and are trodden under foot by the remnant of Jacob. As usual, the scriptures paint a far different picture than the one being fed to us by the Shepherds of Israel.
Disagree. Section 110 is a declaration by Joseph and Oliver who visited them and gave them keys. It is scripture. Moses is an Elias, maybe not the Elias, but an Elias non the less. IMO

My sister died last summer. My sister lived a rough life but she was faithful in the end. while attending a gathering for my father she had just gone to the temple for his being sealed to his wife , not our mother. just weeks before she died. she Gave me a book called Joseph Smith's Kirtland. I just read it.I finished it about two weeks ago. I had just read about the very things that president Nelson spoke about yesterday. almost word for word. The entire thing seams quite significant to me.
I am going to try and find that book. It sounds really interesting.
I like the hell and damnation talks as well 😂. I wonder if it gives us boundaries which we feel we need. I feel like we are floating rather than having a firm foundation, hanging in there and watching to see how all things work out. Interesting!

I too had felt disconnected from the Prophet. When he came out endorsing the shot it was the first time I had Ever been on the other side of an issue with one of the brethren. It. Was. Hard. On top of everything I was accused of losing my testimony because I did not "comply". In actuality my faith and testimony grew as I fought to "stay in the boat" as more and more confusing, to me anyway, decisions were being made. And your channel Brother Palmer helped me to hang on when so much did not make sense to me. So TY again.
And I'm still here and getting ready to serve a mission with my husband in Heber Utah. We are so excited!

I noticed that he only said Abraham as well… I tried the get the ward to read the dedication of the Kirtland temple for a couple months as part of an initiative for T/FH and it hasn’t been brought up yet it ward council… now I’m like see!!!! 28 +the new 2… Brother Palmer, I have to share with you an experience I recently had. I would only share it here. I was recently called as the new choir director in my ward. Although musical, I have never led an adult choir. I was scared to death , needless to say. In reviewing my music for Easter the thought came to me to listen to the Living Christ Project . I wasn’t familiar with it previously. As I listened to the music I carefully selected with the spirit burning through me to sing section 5 “Of the Living Christ” and section 8 “ We bear testimony “ . After I had selected it.. the church immediately announced the purchasing of Kirkland Temple. I cried and cried because section 5 of the Living Christ project are the exact words of D&C 110. You can imagine how much I felt the spirit when we sang these words for Easter as well as listening to the Prophet quoting them this last weekend in Conference. I know the things you teach us are of truth. I can never deny the importance of the Kirkland Temple because of what happened to me . If the Lord wanted little old me to know of the truthfulness.. can you imagine what he wants the world to know? Thank you 🙏 Thank you 🙏 Bless little Jane for what she has meant to all of us.❤

I actually pray on my knees that the Lord will not burn people, that He will find another way.
I have even pleaded that He’d find another way to deal with those we call wicked. And that if a burning must be, that it will be reserved for only those who are deviously conspiring behind the scenes to destroy this world by bending the minds of many and spreading blood and horror everywhere on earth with a full KNOWLEDGE of what they’re doing.
For others who we deem “wicked”-and there but by the grace of God go many of us-for them l plead for Mercy.
Yes, I love all people as well. Once, my husband was praying for our oldest son, who once served a Mission and had a strong testimony of the restored gospel, but who now has left the church. Pleading for mercy for our son, the answer came very strongly from the Lord "Don't you think my love is sufficient to reach out and find your son?" We love our wayward family members, friends and all people of this world. Remember our Father in Heaven knows them and loves them. He will continue to reach out his outstretched arm to all His children. He loves them! Sometimes, he reaches out to them with trials and adversity. (See Doctrine and Covenants 43:24-25). We can pray for all our loved ones and all people that their eyes may be opened. Be comforted that our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ loves them too, even more than we can comprehend. He allows them their agency. Please be comforted that all of us will end up where we will be the most happy and comfortable. Things are rough now. It breaks my heart about the things happening in our world. But hold on and trust in our Heavenly Father and His Plan of Happiness.

I remember when they sent my grandkids home from school due to Covid, I was terrified. For two weeks I woke up every morning afraid that one of my children. My grandchildren was going to get sick. We are raising them and then two weeks later I woke up and I told the Lord I can’t live this way I can’t be afraid. Please take this fear away. It went away and it has never come back. Fear is very tiring.

To me the eclipse is a cutting motion across the sky, which is like covenants, can be our demise or promise. covenants it’s a two parts, when you cut something like flesh, your dividing in two. The first part is cutting the second is coming together, healing,uniting, repairing, making complete. But if you don’t keep our covenants then we are cut off or cut in two. So with the eclipse it can be for good or for bad.
That’s why to heal two nations they would use marriage to do this, it’s in our past heritage.
I feel like you....just a better connection with Pres. Nelson, and what he said was one of the strongest points I have heard from a prophet in years. Other faiths can make your life better....not the next life. They don't have the keys. Thankfully no mention of LGBTQ problems or attractions.

Well if we’re beginning the 7 years trib we were told somewhere by the 3.5 yr mark we’d be in protection. Zion cities etc. so at this point I feel like we’ve got months before we’re headed somewhere for safety. It will be interesting to see what happens and how and when
I certainly hope that we don't have to go through a 7-year tribulation period. It would be difficult for a lot of members to handle. I probably would do away with all the material things in life and focus on the more important things even if it meant struggling more financially. God knows what I need and He will help me if I put more trust in Him.
@@strawberryme08 I used to think we would go somewhere. I am not sure about that anymore. Unless you live in a big city or not near a temple. I think the temples will be that place of safety. Just like the Saints who gathered at the temple in the Book of Mormon. I am hoping that in the temple over the next months we can be caught up to meet him. I go to the temple, to see him.
Many feel that we are already living in the time of tribulation, which began around April 5 2020 with a hosanna shout. Many calamities began after that day - including covid.
3.5 years later war in Israel started on October 7th 2023, which could mean the period of Great tribulation.
So if it is true then we are in the last half of tribulation.

The cardinals might be a way to remind you that Jane is still near, as they are a symbol of connection to loved ones who have gone on into eternity. They are also a symbol of hope and joy. I am so glad you all are able to celebrate Jane, even with the sorrow. It helps so much to have family here and in eternity. Those promises made to Abraham are so important! Next week would have been my son's 23rd birthday, and we still grieve though also still try to celebrate his birthday and joining into our family in mortality. The years have helped to soften the sorrow, so I hope you feel that as you all press forward and carrying on.

I have the same small set and I got the set while I was on my mission in 1999, now you don't have the choice to get a color of style of scripture that you want. I have a regular print-size scripture set that is blue and it is a triple and bible set, and my wife has a blue combo set of scripture set.

Just watched Christian Homestead channel record. The total eclipse at the Kirtland Temple. Energy was so high the cameraman was weeping.
There were 777 souls counted at the Kirkland temple during the eclipse! My son-in-law and granddaughter were two of them.
I TOTALLY understand about Pres. Nelson! I feel same. Other prophets I’ve been more connected too. I wonder how much longer we will have him and Eyring as well 😢❤ I look forward to your thoughts after each conference!
I think my real 'disconnect' was when there was the "urge" message for the you know what and didn't suggest we ask God for ourselves. We were to trust the corrupt government and health officials!!!!?! they knew best?

@@dillydally57 the covenant made with Abraham was passed on through Isaac and Jacob. We learn this not only in scripture, but in the sealing ceremony.

The Book of Mormon really IS a covenant with us. Its actually stated as such in the D&C. But along with that is the warning to not take it lightly. The verses that talk about the Book of Mormon being a covenant are B&C Section 84:54-59 (especially verse 57).
In the introduction to section 109 can you see all the prophecies being fulfilled? I thought that was so neat to read this morning. Also, I heard your first video about new Jerusalem being the temples and that was a long time ago. I’ve been pondering about it since then, and I’ve come to agree with you, because that is where people learn holiness people learn more of God’s laws. Each new temple that is announced or put under construction is a way of cleansing the world from sin. The More Temples we have around the world The more people are able to make covenants and become cleansed Through their covenants with the Lord.

It was more of a feeling than seeing for me.
If you are in the footprint of a total eclipse that’s pretty cool. It get’s dark and you can see the stars.

Without the Spirit, the temple is of no consequence, but with the prophesied temple, there will be the Spirit present. Christ said the temple was His house. After Christ’s resurrection, the apostle’s continued to teach and pray at the temple. Ezekiel, Zechariah, and other Old Testament prophets, prophesied of a latter day temple. In Revelation, John prophesied of a Latter day temple.
The Kirtland temple narrative is very problematic. Both Joseph and Oliver NEVER spoke of Moses or Elijah visiting them in the Kirtland temple. They ALWAYS spoke as it being a future event, even after this visitation took place. D&C 77 verses 9 & 14 show John the revelator to be the one who is the Elias who is to come to gather the house of Israel and restore all things. 1st Nephi 14 and 3rd Nephi 20-21 show the actual gathering of Israel occurs after the LDS gentiles reject the fulness of the gospel and the words of Christ brough forth by a righteous servant and are trodden under foot by the remnant of Jacob.
As usual, the scriptures paint a far different picture than the one being fed to us by the Shepherds of Israel.
Disagree. Section 110 is a declaration by Joseph and Oliver who visited them and gave them keys. It is scripture. Moses is an Elias, maybe not the Elias, but an Elias non the less. IMO
