The differential with bldc motor offers a cost-effective & permanent solution for the conversion of an 800 cc car into a hybrid one. With the intact petrol engine, the car can be used by commuters for a long intercity drive.
I want to see you guys start an ev conversion business for old cars, start with government cars (more cars per person you talk to compared on individual buyers)
Instead of using costly complicated jacks and jack stands, just turn the car over on its side, ingenious! I was trying to think of ways I could have a separate supplemental RWD for my FWD electric Fiat, I think this guy figured it out.

Beautiful DIY project. Please share in the description about details to get this kit. It would be even more efficient if you alter this system a little bit. This fixed differential system will vibrate a lot and also puts more weight on the tyres which will lead to a drag developing when driving. You can reduce the weight and also keep the motor-differential until fixed to the underbody of the car using mounting beds like we for mounting theengine. Cut the long and heavy wheel shafts on both sides of the differential and use light weight drive shafts to connect to the wheel hubs like we have in the front wheel drive system. That way, only wheel vibration and up-down rocking will be restricted to the wheel suspension and not affect the whole motor unit. That would also help in improving torque vectoring as both wheels are independent. More weight means more inertia/lag, which means more power needed for intended performance. So when the weight is cut down, expect better and swift performance.

I am a bit late but I like the simplicity of this conversion. However, when the ICE is powering the vehicle the rear wheel/def will cause the Emotor to turn at high revs. Won't that cause some problems (braking/overheating etc)?
Can You put a full video on this, Please 🙏🏽 it will be really helpful if you shared all the bits and details.. This will allow the vehicle to perform like 4WD. I really want to modify a 800 into 4x4 pickup truck.

If battery will charge automatically then Oil producing countries will come out with begging bowl next day ... And that will be the end of law of thermodynamics
Very important question. How much the mileage reduces when run with petrol per litre after electrification because the replaced rear axle is heavy and will attract traction. Another concern is driving at high speeds with modification. I have a 24 year old maruti 800 and I used to hit even 125kmph but generally 110 kmph when commuting between cities in NH. If modified there will definitely be a fear when sped above 80 using petrol.
Not hybrid. It is dual fuel. A hybrid reclaims charge under braking when using the ICE and also reclaims charge from the engine unit. A hybrid is a combination. You have built two separate types of propulsion.

My suggestion is why not to use dyanmo for recharging battery
Dynamo provide in blow 10 A DC. This type battery need to above 50A for charging.

It charges as you use the electric motor for braking. Of course you can also use the petrol engine to charge the battery.
