They played about equal vs UGA in 2021/22 with both having 4 TDs but Bryce having a 98.1 QBR vs Stroud with a 94.1 QBR, when both had their WRs. I won money on OSU covering vs UGA, and Bama covering/winning the 1st UGA/SEC championship. Not to mention that his o-line was playing terribly and the team went through 2 offensive coordinators through his rookie season. The reason he was the #1 pick, or suggested #2 pick was how well he did in college. You can blame David temper because he's the one who chose bryce as the panthers franchise qb. There are so many other factors blaming the team entirely (except bryce) and there are plenty of reasons that prove bryce was not the problem, it's to early to say he is a bust. He also had 7 batted passes last year, Lawrence had twice as much, Stroud had the same amount on 60 less drop backs, Herbert had 7, Love had 8 and AR had 4 on 522 fewer drop backs and I could go on and on and on. He took 62 sacks and only missed 1 game, Stroud took 38 and missed 2 games. Young played behind one of the worst offensive lines in the league and still hung in there and only missed 1 game. Houston and Green bay were his best games and the game after houston he threw 2 pick 6's against indy and debatably his worst game of the season. Green bay was probably his best game but then the next week we got shut out he looked terrible against jacksonville we lost 26-0 he had 112 yards and an interception and looked like he had never played football before so basically nothing to take away from his good games bc he didnt build on them he went backwards after every decent moment he had. I didnt expect him to throw 5k yards and 30 tds but i didnt think he would have more turnovers than scores and showed nothing that proves hes going to be a good quarterback. I hope he does he is the guy i wanted us to draft i even bought his jersey last offseason but he has a long way to go. If he resembles any of what he did last year this season he wont be starting for us year 3. If we have a top 5 pick the next year we are taking a quarterback.

Not to mention the coaching staff on offense an the roster talents on offense was ass. Bryce would end up getting 3rd and long situations because the run game was also ass (for overpaying Miles Sanders). He gets so many excuses… he averaged 2.5 sec to throw which was 7th best in the NFL. He was historically bad.. 5th worst ALL TIME in yards per attempt.. great guy and tough as nails but not NFL talent… he wasn’t the only problem but he is definitely not the answer. I watched every play
