This is a great video. I like how you have recently been taking one concept and expanding it out to useful examples rather than just going through vocabulary. That is also helpful, but this one concept style lets people really understand the differences. It also gives some insight into the cultural aspect of asking a favor. In the United States, saying please is just a way to "butter someone up" so that they will say yes, but could still say no if they have a good excuse. However, in Mandarin it seems that please is more of a command than a request; an exclamation (fourth tone) more than a question (second tone) if you will.

In Mandarin, we don't really use 請 to ask for a favor. So it sometimes annoys me when foreigners say 請請請 all the time to ask me for a favor, even I am aware of that's totally from English "please", but it sounds annoying using 請 all the time in Mandarin when asking for a favor. Maybe it's just me, you can also ask other Mandarin native speakers. haha ~~
We really just say 可以....嗎? or 可以麻煩你....嗎? to ask fro someone's help. It just sounds way MUCH more polite and natural to a native speaker's ear.
