I replaced a brand X medium-low restriction muffler with a Flowmaster FX muffler. Fuel mileage increased 30% and 5.4 engine runs more smoothly, still with reasonable medium restriction and power delivery in this heavy weight '99 E350. Valve head durability/reliability with even performance/efficiency are related to even exhaust flow. Flowmaster is satisfactory on this 5.4 liter 331 CID Econoline E350 5100 lb+ heavyweight, and some years ago dual 40s did well and sounded great in my Fox Body 5.O 5 speed.
I love the sound of my 5.4 3v its starting with long tube headers to a 3" off-road y pipe with a magnaflow muffler and duals of course it sounds good bc of the Ford performance camshafts
Cool exhaust for that first super duty, but a 5.4 in a crew cab long box 1 ton, that thing must be the slowest thing lmao, but the other f250 sounded like freedom🇺🇲
I live in Pennsylvania, and I wanna go down there and put an exhaust system on my truck like from the last clip of the blue truck, but I might gather my friends and do ourselves

You'd assume the exhaust shop would know that. And on the blue truck where they installed the true dual exhaust they didn't add an H-pipe or X-pipe
