Never seen that particular series (thank Heaven above) but I totally agree with you all the more, my friend! And on the real, sorta gives you (and more importantly all those working behind the scenes on any future MOTU shows) a remarkable idea on what a proper HE-MAN series should be and look like. That is to say, use actual bloody action figures to act out the part of motion of the stories, and give all the animators a bit of a rest in their hands and save a ton of pencil milage along the way! I would DEFINITELY watch that! It could be like Thunderbird's, but SOOOO much better! They've tried (and pretty much failed) in all other areas of techniques, and this is as good as anything else will ever get, period, point, blank! Much love to you all! 😊❤😊❤😊❤
The He-Man cartoons were actually way more than that. Lots of PSAs and stuff. In fact the cartoons were so morally correct this ad looks like straight savagery.
@@KronnangDunn The 80's He-Man cartoons Where really educational compared to modern cartoons. The people that label them as brainwash could had just change the channel but had nothing better to do except complain. They feel they won when cartoons got regulated, but when they look at cartoons today, they know they wasted their time as they fought for a loss cause. Today cartoons have more violence (which they hated) and still sell toys.
@Mr.Bones1983 Lou Scheimer from Filmation was a very moral dude. A Family man who had his children on the staff (his daughter sang as She-Ra in the main theme of Mistery of the Sword). I bet he had something to do with the PSAs....By the time he made MOTU he was already a veteran child cartoon filmaker. He made lots of great positive high-spirited adventure and comedy animated series like Flash Gordon, Tarzan, Fat Albert, Star Trek, Archie, Sport Billy, Ghostbusters, Bravestarr, etc.

Wow, He-Man vs Skeletor and a whole bunch of Skeletors (an army of evil skeletons who all oddly sure look at lot like the real Skeletor) and Grimlock from Transformers, Mama Mia! 😧🙎♂️
Great lighting, and shots. Stop motion with camera movement is noteworthy. The sound design could use more love, however. Particularly during the fighting segment. Overall, this was fantastic. Totally sharing this.
Reminds me of when commercials made you wabt to wait for them to come on. Not like today when you get a commercial on youtube watching oold commercials.
This was back in the early days of Grimlock when he was a total backstabbing POS. 😅 Nah but really kids used to do this. “ok you’re a bad guy today”. 😂
This was beautifully done! Did you make this yourself? It was BRILLIANT! Congratulations on executing this so successfully. If there's a website with a making-of - that will be incredible.
Commercial director: "Listen up staff, I have an excellent idea for a commercial. But I need you to raid your closets & every yard sale you find until I have enogh Skeletors to take down He-Man. Weapons & accessories optional" Staff: "Uh okay, but do we get mileage?" Audience: This is so sweet!
The way every he-man character's legs posed, they were all just begging for a kick in the junk. And that happened allll the time. Screw Battle Armor He-Man, give me Battle Balls He-Man.
ha, thank you. that's what other people are saying! I didn't even know Kevin Smith had a He-Man show. I watched the first few minutes and was bored and turned it off!
That was more He-man than the netflix show lol

@@carn9507 Hahahaha
I should have Grimlock attacking He-Man in the sequel!@@dukenukem9770
@@georgemoise1 That would be epic!!!
@@georgemoise1I was trying to figure out which Grimlock that was. It didn't look quite like the original toy....
Why is an Autobot working for Skeletor?
Damn, and Skeletor was really confident that Tri-Klop's new cloning technology would actually have been the winning plan this time
80's He-man cartoons where propaganda to sell us He-Man toys, Now He-Man toys are use as propaganda to sell us things. Nostalgia sells.

This was AMAZING!!! This was always how I always saw my toys in my head, You are truly gifted. Thank you for brightening my day.
🤣 That is EXACTLY what I was thinking the whole time! In my mind, that's how the fight was going down, and it was on! 👍🏻
wow, thank you so much! You're very welcome!
This is what I imagined as my brother and I played with our He-Man toys back in the day - just such a cool piece of film, and nostaligia!

Why did you have He-Man's in the 90's? its an early 80's toy

ha thx!
It's cool how they would switch between the vintage figures and the orgins line. Grimlock being there was a nice touch.
Or maybe not? He might not have used the origins figures.
Absolutely Amazing
Why was this better than all of the He-Man cartoons
Funny, that's the exact situation they were trying to avoid in that very first mini-comic.
George is a longtime collaborator and friend of Rarevision, and we can tell you this guy always does top notch work! 🔥We're lovin' it!
