Good informative video! Have you considered also taking a look at the nanolite pavotube II 6C? Just traded an old camera of mine for one in a shop and I'm pretty impressed with it!
Yes! Been looking at them for a while now! Some projects will definitely benefit from those! Having said that the portability of these is what sold me! Hehe!
@@EMTFILMS True, wouldn't say that the pavotube isn't portable, but I will agree on that it's probably easier to fit the sandmark prolights into a camerabag!

This type of lights are not going to be very powerful at 1 to 2 meters distance. I would like that price for a 6000 lumens 😭
You’d be surprised! It also depends on the environment light but if in a controlled/dark environment they perform really well.
True, they could light in some conditions. Something I hate is that brands (in general) could do better with led chips. Cob leds are cheap and engineers could put together in the same light (4 to 6 led cob 10w,20w, or 30w) with appropriate cooling system. There are a lot of DIY on youtube and don't seem very complicated to made. Only arri, aputure sputnik have made something similar (and very overpriced)
I think I am going to do DIY Perks more powerful and cheaper.
EMT, great video as usual, BUT I really wish you would lose this "film noir" look. Your dark beard blends into your dark shirt which in turn blends into the dark background, not really a great example of getting the best from your lighting. This is not the first time I've been bothered by not being able to ascertain what I'm looking at due to insufficient lighting. After all, you're not shooting drama here, it's a tutorial or an instructional. Please start lighting it as such. Not trying to hurt your feelings here, because you do excellent work, but give your viewers' eyes a break. That'd be mighty polite of you! ;-)
