In case you didn’t know, he commented said (and I quote) “Imagine boosting the capsule prices and see this person true side. It was never really a pleasant sight.” To a person dealing with depression who had criticized them for having unfair capsule prices. When this got spread around, he made a apology letter, but was later found out that it was made by AI. And after that was revealed, he basically went on a “woe is me, I am the best dealer out there, you guys can’t treat me like this” sort of vent. Stamp actually gaslit me personally when I addressed the situation to him, as I had talked to him a few times before. I understand if you just didn’t know about this, but I was kinda expecting that to be brought up in the video. Other than that, I agree on all the points you made. But I also just have a personal hatred towards him because that person he commented on is actually one of my closest friends. I’m glad I found this channel. Very funny and probably most based.
I was aware about this only after the fact sadly, if I had known it definitely would've made an appearance in the video. You brought good insight in that situation, so thanks for the info on that! Anyway I'm glad you enjoyed the video 🙏
While I understand why people are upset about what Stamp said and how he handled the situation, I also think the anger about prices feels a bit misplaced. At the end of the day, sellers have the right to set their prices, and it’s up to us as buyers to decide if we want to support them or not. That doesn’t excuse his comments or the way he treated people afterward, but the focus should be on addressing the behavior rather than piling on about the pricing.
When it comes to collecting Thomas merch, I think there is a lot to consider. The price is the first thing, and it can be tough to find good ones sometimes. Secondly, the condition of the item. If its all scratched up or is missing parts, you shouldn't have to pay more than retail price. Depending on some items that are still in box or un-used, than it can be justified, if you keep it reasonable. And thirdly, its age. If an item is rare or ended production long ago, it will become more rare as time goes on. But just because it's old doesn't mean it should be expensive. I try to consider all these when I look for a new item to add to the collection.
THANK YOU FOR SAYING THIS. I am so tired of all these ebay sellers selling a super common Trackmaster Edward for $80 just because they can. I am talking about a children's toy that was mass produced for several years, and sold at several big retail stores all around the world for about $10 at most. In no way does that warrant a $80 price tag. So many people seem to be just fine with these toys costing that much for whatever reason, and I really don't get it. These ebay sellers have gotten way too greedy, and it's about time someone said something about it.
It's terrible really. Sometimes I feel like even inherently good people make this mistake. What happens I think is that the fans put "money" and "friendship" above actual good business practices. I mean how can TrackmasterTomy think Oliver is pricey, then turn around and sponsor someone who jacks the price for Oliver really high? Money talks.
Okay In my Opinion, Stamp has Great Customer Service and shipping. The price is the problem, although yes I would love to own the Trackmaster BoCo. I aint gonna drop 50 bucks for just a Train and a Tank car and Box car.
As someone who only collects Thomas merch casually, I'm very particular with what I want to get, and that includes taking into account the cost of certain items. I collect Wooden Railway and ERTL, and I don't think I've ever paid any more than £20 for a single item. I either buy in bundles and sort through the items I want to keep and sell on the rest, or I just keep a good look out on Facebook marketplace and eBay for cheap listings. To me, these are just children's toys, and they should be priced as such. I feel the problem is that sellers think that the only people who would buy these items now are older collectors and not kids and their parents, so they are priced as if they are for collection only rather than for what they are truly intended for; to be played with.
Watched all of ur other videos and man they’re great. I ordered a plarail 2003 Edward from him that included an express coach and upon delivery, the tender was sunfaded (a little but not that much, was still bright blue) and there was a small chip in the front of the tender. Now I’m a pretty laid back person so I didn’t really care, so I opened him up to make sure the wiring was all good on him, and the slightest turn and the wire came right off the tender. (He’s still broken) but when a month later and I had my express coach on my desk, I dropped it and it literally shattered into pieces. (I’ll try send a pic somehow) now I’ll admit that was my fault but it still doesn’t excuse the fact that you sell a “mint” item and it comes to me broken. Thank god the Edward damage is fixable by buying new wire and buying an old Edward and soldering the tender from that one onto the plarail one. Anyways, sorry for the long rant as I’ve been trying to get this off my chest without looking like a dick.
Stamp Plarail Store? Pricey? *DAMN!* This is worse than EBay, but except all of these are expensive now, I can’t afford a loaf of baguette, or cheese, or milk, or chocolate chip cookies-?
Being an Australian tomy collector we get the prices much worse down here... i will say i'm quite happy with stamps business, but admittedly the prices are really bad in some cases. but stamp is honestly pretty good i most other aspects. they did mess up and order of mine once and made sure it was fixed free of charge. Again though, due to the prices stamp is really more of a treat myself seller rather than a regular shop i purchase from. I remain perfectly in the middle in this topic.
@@ThomasShorts123 Honestly your vid did wake me up tho. Some prices form some different places for specific engines are outrageous. kinda woke me up. after buying so many items you kind of go numb to the prices you have to pay, which is not a good thing. So thaks this gave me a wake up call i needed. lmao
@@smaximationsmotionsI second that on your explanation of feeling numb to the prices when buying merch. It's such a true feeling, and a very dangerous trap to be in, financially and mentally. This is kinda off topic, but I've spent lots of money on specific Hornby Thomas locos for prices that weren't honestly reasonable. But, as certain models are very hard to come by, I usually had to bite the bullet. Overall, the Thomas and Friends merch market, for the most part, is not good. 😢
I totally agree with what you have to say, Stamps prices are so high a model train is probably about the same price as the toy made for kids which is crazy, Kaikki also suffers from the same problem but along with some of the items being expensive they don’t really have much Thomas merch that isn’t sold out, and lastly TotallyThomasTown is actually pretty good if it weren’t for the shipping price (I know it’s from Canada but still at least drop the shipping fees for it). And on eBay is so much worse, the capsule plarail items can be very expensive, like 50+ dollars expensive and the items there are at the same height as a regular mini (I’m basically paying for an expensive Thomas mini). All I want is for the prices on selling sites with Thomas merch to be at the very least reasonable and affordable that’s how people will buy your stuff, overprice them and now one will buy them because of the price. But that’s all I have to say on the matter Also what the heck is this 6:15
It's a shame how much the market has deteriorated in the past few years. Simple fans or avid collectors should be pretty upset how many of these common items cost so much money. Also that is stamp's mascot it's bad I know 😭
@@ThomasShorts123I heard that mercari is good when it comes to Thomas merch at a good price and from what little I’ve seen it’s much more manageable than whatever eBay has, and best of all it doesn’t cost a arm and a leg

After getting back into getting thomas toys, it makes me wish kid me didnt destroy/donate a lot of the stuff as a kid. Even back 8 years ago I dont think the prices were good either though at the time I wasnt able to buy things for myself (I was 10, im 18 now) so I cant say for sure but I only got a hit toys bill online back then. But now that I would mainly use my money, most resellers have expensive items in someway. I say it's up to the buyer to decide whats good for them when making a purchase. I have bought a few items from stamp, as it was just one of the first stores I found, and most of my purcheses were impulse buys because it was a character I hadn't seen for a good price, or just really wanted the character. Though also just to put into perspective, I was able to get most of the hit toys/ trackmaster engines for 15-20$ as kid and I was only missing 7 engines. I couldnt fathom trying buy every engine now, especially seeingbthat 1000 dollar collection that oke person had in the video, i probably hace the same amount of engines left over from when I was a kid and I couldnt imagine paying 1000 for the whole lot.
Thomas Merchandise (Pre-All Engines Go) in the market during the recent years had gotten worse. The economy in general is so terrible after the Covid pandemic. And the Thomas merchandise had took a major hit in the online sales.
@@ThomasShorts123 Is there any hope for avid collectors to buy more Thomas merch like this? Or are we just gonna sit here trying to make a living from our jobs by saving as much money as we can, and then the next thing we may not know is that we’ll watch some of our favourite Thomas merch become more and more rare overtime. Just like with Hornby. All because All Engines Go is taking over the market.
This is genuinely so real omg. I've seen plenty of complaints about SPS but this is the first I've seen hit UA-cam. It feels like almost every Plarail/Trackmaster review I see now is advertising this embarrassment of a "store." I don't care who's offering the 10% off coupon, I ain't buying. I'm better off trying to win the iPhone out of the claw machine then try to find a good price on Stamp. Frankly, the people who give into the prices are a bigger problem than the sellers themselves. I'll admit, every once in awhile I have a purchase I'm not so proud of. But I feel that it evens out because: 1. Its not from stamp lmao 2. I'm usually good with finding the best prices possible I'll tell you what I am an absolute sucker for Facebook Marketplace. I got two RC Flip Face Thomas at Tidmouth Sheds sets on there for less than $20. On ebay, you're lucky to get the sheds alone for less than like, $80. Anyway all I can say is thank you for bringing this matter over to UA-cam. Hopefully, this can rival some of the Stamp Plarail Suck-ups.
Seems you see eye to eye with me lmao. And yes Facebook marketplace is a great place to get cheap stuff (all you gotta do is look!). I hope this reaches some of stamp's meat riders, the hypocrisy and lack of research into who they're supporting is the worst thing about this entire ordeal. I mean really how can someone say Tomy Oliver is too pricey then turn around and support a guy who sells it for a high price 😭😭 (looking at YOU TrackmasterTomy..) Thank you for watching!
Buy from Totally Thomas Town! It’s amazing! The condition is mostly great! The prices are great! And the packaging is beautiful! It looks like a birthday present!
i don't like stamp at all and it's not even because of the prices someone was going through depression and stamp on twitter decided to be a... well you know and they made an apology using *AI* and I HAVEN'T EVEN STARTED ABOUT KAIKKI 💀
Honestly, when it comes to Stamp… For the most part, you are correct. They often tend to overpriced, especially when there are other better Tomy/Plarail/Trackmaster items out on eBay or other places…with three exceptions: the three railway engines. Before Stamp came along, Edward, Henry, and Gordon were expensive AF. But Stamp slightly lowered the prices compared to most other sellers. And I got a Plarail Edward from them. He runs great and looks great. But that being said, aside from Henry and Gordon (which tend to be bought pretty quickly), the items they sell are expensive (but seriously, you’ll catch me dead before I get a Trackmaster Molly for $50).
I'm a Take Along/Take n Play collector, and yet the prices shown here hurt to see. Currently I'm trying to find a good Take Along Oliver but the only ones I find aren't worth it (and that's saying something since I spent 60 dollars on Donald and Douglas, but those were the only ones I could really find at the time), the only 2 good condition ones are 30 dollars and 70 dollars (that one comes with Toad too). Crazy thing is, I got Edward, Bill, Ben, Thomas & The Jet Engine, and all the Narrow Gauge Engines (at least the Classic Series ones) for a great price, hell, Peter Sam was new in box and was quite a good price (Rheneas and Sir Handel came together too). I don't know what else to say but funny story I guess: So I was browsing eBay and I saw a Metallic Diesel, Arry, and Bert for 660 dollars, I get they're metallic and all but at the end of the day, these are just kids toys. Ok wow I typed way too much, I'll shut up.
Okay so little tip some times if you go to a flea market u will find so many and if your lucky you can get them under 5 dollars. And trust me there some rare ones
Unless anyone of the people respond that I've made a couple jokes about or especially in this case, stamp responds, I'm not gonna make another video like this lmao. All my previous videos are more my style, glad you enjoyed this though!
I don't think using an anime person is a bad thing, it's just that Stamp presents it in the worst way. AI images, along with that one picture of her I showed in the video
tbh this is why I think it's better to aim for lots on eBay as opposed to just single engines :^... Edit!: Also like...ngl I don't know if the shipping on stamp is truly fast? A Thomas w/ his coaches was like the first thing I've ordered out of all the models I've been buying, and it's like the last one to arrive, given by estimated dates. Things I ordered only a few days ago are set to arrive earlier than stamp's item 🐑💭, even from another Japan based seller.
I used to own alot of classic Thomas toys from the OG die-cast metal take n play to the Trackmaster battery operated ones when the track was still brown. I've moved onto Bachmann/hornby trains and those prices make stamps prices look like a steal. $165.00 each for both Gordon and Henry.
That's what I'm saying. Literally model trains have so much more value than motorized stuff, but yet it costs less in so many cases. This market is absolutely screwed and I'm surprised this topic is too touched upon in video format
As a long time Stamp buyer, I had 0 knowledge that the Stamp character was AI generated, and as time has gone on, I’ve found better deals with equal quality on stuff like the Facebook Marketplace and Vinted, and have been tempted to buy from those places instead, especially knowing all this new information. The argument of model trains being cheaper than the average Plarail item, yeah. I agree. That's an eyebrow raiser. Will keep all this in mind when buying Plarail in future.
I kinda see the same sentiment when it comes to retro games. But I find that the Plarail prices you've shown are somehow worse than even the most egregious prices for games from the PS1 and N64 era. Its funny to see Paper Mario go for less than Tomy Oliver.
It's all about value. When you have a price that goes way beyond the actual value of an item, that makes it overpriced. And suffice to say Thomas merchandise on eBay has too low of value for it to be priced the way it is
@ThomasShorts123 true. It really does suck that these toys made for kids now go for more than higher end model trains. Especially for throw away characters like Jeremy and Scruff.
Thomas Shorts is that you? Holy crap you’re back! Your back! OMG I missed you so much! I’m so glad you returned! Welp looks like I’ll have to make another shout out for you :p
As a mortal train collector. Some of stamps prices were overpriced compared to other engines For instance, a Backman Percy. Is cheaper? Ten dicky percent of the stuff on their store Obviously the way it's 70 quid for a background Percy. The Olive is even more expensive than my home.Thomas that came with an incarable A track. 2 chops and trucks. And the Edward. Yeah, that's a lot of cash. That's stuff by itself. Was all 100 quid. And his tone Oliver is even more. As much as the Edward included was used. The Thom. As was and all the other bits and bobs, Mining box. And the only 100 quid for it.
Mostly I use the kaikki store mostly because it’s the only place my parents allow me to buy classic Thomas merchandise from bc my parents don’t use eBay and honestly I’m glad because damn everything’s expensive. ever since it turned out well on the first time ordering from the kaikki store I started using it and I was satisfied with my purchase because I got 5 tankers for 5$ and it wasn’t too bad. I would probably buy something from corn’s mercari thing but I can’t
Nowadays I try to get all these plastic toy trains from flea markets & train shows, or check Japanese stores with a proxy service in order to get imported items. I only bought Edward from Stamp because it probably was the lowest price for a plarail Edward during that time.
There's this seller on both eBay and Mecari called EG Trains who sells Thomas items, and I've purchased three items from them before, but they were all at fairly reasonable low prices, so I didn't have a problem. However, I've come to notice how crazy a lot of the prices are for some of the more "desirable" or "rare" items that they own. Now I can understand the reason for putting these at high prices, but with most I have to question if the seller even looks at any other listings of the same item that they're putting up for sale to see how much they should put them up for because a lot of them are just ridiculous. I don't someone is gonna be paying over 70 for a Wooden Railway Troublesome Truck that was released 2 years ago just because it got recalled, or other things that you can get for a cheaper price like a Trackmaster Donald or Duck, or a Wood Henry. I understand that making money is important, and they've made close to about the same amount of sales as Stamps but like with him, I think EG needs to dial it back with a lot of the prices they put these toys for cuz a lot of them are just as crazy Stamps' prices. If no one on eBay is paying 9-20 for the countless new in box Racing Thomases that are listed, then what makes EG think that someone is gonna pay 26 dollars for the one they have?
To be fair to Stamp I looked into it and the costs for shipping from Singapore to the USA is beyond unreasonable. The prices for packages that a TOMY/Plarail would fill up and weigh can range from $70-120+ depending on the speed and that’s just converting Singapore’s currency to the United States’ (right now they’re 1.34:1 with the US); so I kind of give them some leniency as they’re fronting the export bill for their buyers. I agree that it’s too much but considering what it costs just to fly the items over, I can’t blame Stamp too hard in good conscious.
You make a good point, but, what about the buyers who purchase things from his area? Would it be fair to them to pay for things that have shipping tax included in the price, despite living in roughly the same area? Sure the prices are high for folks in the US, but people who live near stamp don't deserve to pay for something that has shipping tax included even though they live nearby. That's my opinion on that matter at least
@@ThomasShorts123 His prices are actually under the shipping costs, so not quite 1:1. Yeah, it’s rough on his neighborhood crowd, though their economy is pretty damn high right now, so it’s possible he just knows his customer base there are loaded, but it is a bad optic regardless.

To be completely honest, as a teenager who just now started collecting Trackmaster and Tomy products, and only has like engines 1-8, the stamp Plarail store is pretty mid, I get people think the pricing is terrible *AHEM AHEM* oliver *AHEM AHEM* But getting mint condition Tomy items, I think the stamp Plarail store is unfortunately gonna have to be you’re best option, mostly because the rest of eBay sellers have 1 thing about their Tomy item that made it lose its value, and Amazons Tomy range isn’t that big and a few of their prices are strange 60 DOLLARS FOR 2002 THOMAS WHAT? I usually turn to stamp Plarail store to get ideas of how to grow my collection, because I heard all the shit with Kakki, definitely not buying from there, to be completely honest some of the prices on the stamp Plarail store depend on the condition and rarity of the item, like annoyed face Thomas for 55 dollars, it’s a pretty solid deal, only because I haven’t seen many annoyed Tomy Thomas’ around recently, but then again I haven’t bought anything from stamp yet so I can’t be talking, but considering my birthday is only 3 days away as I make this comment, I do plan on buying an annoyed Thomas from stamp with my birthday cash, only because it’s my only option, overall stamps prices are very mid, but it’s really hard to find good Thomas merch sellers, so stamp could be you’re best bet when it comes to Tomy and Trackmaster items, The mascot is a whole different story, and I’m not even going to explain it, pretty damn obvious why.
I really don't care about e.g. Trackmaster or whatever, but the Hornby models are ridiculous. $200 for a '70s 57XX or Black 5 tooling just for some paint and a new smokebox door when the equivalents are maybe $80.
I'm gonna be real here, I only buy online if it's a last resort. I normally find stuff at nearby flea markets or thrift stores. I probably wouldn't have my collection of both Trackmaster/Tomy and take n play if I didn't go to these places.
4:24 the funny thing is that I saw that duck listing a few day before the video came out. I didn’t buy it since it was overpriced and I had already a duck coming in the mail. Ignore the fact that the duck I bought was 40 dollars- (it was the only one I could find with a good price I swear)

Hell yeah man no problem lol. You helped me find some info for the vid, so I was happy to return the favor and help you.
Were just evolving backwards with TTTE merchandise
Anyways, sorry for the long rant as I’ve been trying to get this off my chest without looking like a dick.
finally someone said it 🙏
Stamp Plarail Store? Pricey? *DAMN!* This is worse than EBay, but except all of these are expensive now, I can’t afford a loaf of baguette, or cheese, or milk, or chocolate chip cookies-?
The economy is bad so stamp had to make sure his prices were too 💀
Being an Australian tomy collector we get the prices much worse down here... i will say i'm quite happy with stamps business, but admittedly the prices are really bad in some cases. but stamp is honestly pretty good i most other aspects. they did mess up and order of mine once and made sure it was fixed free of charge. Again though, due to the prices stamp is really more of a treat myself seller rather than a regular shop i purchase from.
I remain perfectly in the middle in this topic.
Completely valid opinion! I'm glad to see someone who has a different opinion than my own
@@ThomasShorts123 Honestly your vid did wake me up tho.
Some prices form some different places for specific engines are outrageous. kinda woke me up. after buying so many items you kind of go numb to the prices you have to pay, which is not a good thing. So thaks this gave me a wake up call i needed. lmao
Been there done that lmao. I spent a fat amount of cash for basically nothing lmao, hopefully more people begin to see the problem
Chips dubbo is that you?
@@smaximationsmotionsI second that on your explanation of feeling numb to the prices when buying merch. It's such a true feeling, and a very dangerous trap to be in, financially and mentally. This is kinda off topic, but I've spent lots of money on specific Hornby Thomas locos for prices that weren't honestly reasonable. But, as certain models are very hard to come by, I usually had to bite the bullet. Overall, the Thomas and Friends merch market, for the most part, is not good. 😢
Bro cooked hard with that rant
But that’s all I have to say on the matter
Also what the heck is this 6:15
It's a shame how much the market has deteriorated in the past few years.
@@ThomasShorts123I wish that in another world the prices were more agreeable than they are now. It’s sad that toy trains made for kids are more expensive than model trains
You're prolly one of the realest TTTE UA-camrs I've seen in a while tbh
SPA is an actual scam and ion know why people didn't realize this sooner☠️☠️☠️☠️😭😭😭
Pity to see, both for avid collectors and people just looking to get something cool

Me personally I like the stamp plarail store. Yes the mascot is ai generated and yes the prices ain’t good but me personally I still like the store.

6:15 -James never mentally recovered after seeing that.-
tfym bro, $427.47 and an arm and a leg is totally justifiable for an bootleg tomy thomas with 2 wheels
But I feel that it evens out because:
1. Its not from stamp lmao
2. I'm usually good with finding the best prices possible
I'll tell you what I am an absolute sucker for Facebook Marketplace.
I mean really how can someone say Tomy Oliver is too pricey then turn around and support a guy who sells it for a high price 😭😭 (looking at YOU TrackmasterTomy..)
Thank you for watching!
Buy from Totally Thomas Town! It’s amazing! The condition is mostly great! The prices are great! And the packaging is beautiful! It looks like a birthday present!

I respect your opinion! Glad to see some different insight to this. But yeah Molly for 50 is wild 💀

Honestly the prices have had me turn away from stamp because $130 for Oliver is outrageous.
Oliver can get much worse elsewhere, but yeah 130 is wayyyy too much
The opening stuff with the edward movie aged perfectly
Honestly I think it's best to have model trains at that lower price because honestly I struggle a lot because I don't have a job so

You’re welcome dude.
stamps casually using an anime girl as a mascot for a THOMAS THE TANK ENGINE STORE
I don't think using an anime person is a bad thing, it's just that Stamp presents it in the worst way. AI images, along with that one picture of her I showed in the video
12:18
Three thousand fucking dollars?!
tbh this is why I think it's better to aim for lots on eBay as opposed to just single engines :^...
Why is Garfield talking about Thomas toys?
He knows a thing or two about em
As a long time Stamp buyer, I had 0 knowledge that the Stamp character was AI generated, and as time has gone on, I’ve found better deals with equal quality on stuff like the Facebook Marketplace and Vinted, and have been tempted to buy from those places instead, especially knowing all this new information. The argument of model trains being cheaper than the average Plarail item, yeah. I agree. That's an eyebrow raiser. Will keep all this in mind when buying Plarail in future.
Amazing gamer I didn't expect to see you here
I kinda see the same sentiment when it comes to retro games.
Thanks boss 🙏glad you managed to find the channel again
On the topic of the bootleg ‘Arry, you can get both the bootleg ‘Arry & Bert for cheaper, than the SPS listing with 2 tankers.

Okey dokey
Mostly I use the kaikki store mostly because it’s the only place my parents allow me to buy classic Thomas merchandise from bc my parents don’t use eBay and honestly I’m glad because damn everything’s expensive. ever since it turned out well on the first time ordering from the kaikki store I started using it and I was satisfied with my purchase because I got 5 tankers for 5$ and it wasn’t too bad. I would probably buy something from corn’s mercari thing but I can’t
9:55 can't get over the $60 vinnie in the listing directly next to this one
It's a weird mindset sellers have. Rarity obvs affects prices but even common ass items are priced like they're rare. It's really dumb
5:20 I aint ever paying that price for a plarail aeg Thomas that released LAST year.
Cool content

To be completely honest, as a teenager who just now started collecting Trackmaster and Tomy products, and only has like engines 1-8, the stamp Plarail store is pretty mid, I get people think the pricing is terrible *AHEM AHEM* oliver *AHEM AHEM*
But getting mint condition Tomy items, I think the stamp Plarail store is unfortunately gonna have to be you’re best option, mostly because the rest of eBay sellers have 1 thing about their Tomy item that made it lose its value, and Amazons Tomy range isn’t that big and a few of their prices are strange
60 DOLLARS FOR 2002 THOMAS WHAT?
I usually turn to stamp Plarail store to get ideas of how to grow my collection, because I heard all the shit with Kakki, definitely not buying from there, to be completely honest some of the prices on the stamp Plarail store depend on the condition and rarity of the item, like annoyed face Thomas for 55 dollars, it’s a pretty solid deal, only because I haven’t seen many annoyed Tomy Thomas’ around recently, but then again I haven’t bought anything from stamp yet so I can’t be talking, but considering my birthday is only 3 days away as I make this comment, I do plan on buying an annoyed Thomas from stamp with my birthday cash, only because it’s my only option, overall stamps prices are very mid, but it’s really hard to find good Thomas merch sellers, so stamp could be you’re best bet when it comes to Tomy and Trackmaster items,
The mascot is a whole different story, and I’m not even going to explain it, pretty damn obvious why.
I really don't care about e.g. Trackmaster or whatever, but the Hornby models are ridiculous. $200 for a '70s 57XX or Black 5 tooling just for some paint and a new smokebox door when the equivalents are maybe $80.
