Many thanks, I have wanted to see this done without having to fill each dot individually. Shot glasses are great for fragrance oils, easy to clean and reusable. I tend to mix the colour and mica in with the FO xx
Really thinking about starting making wax melts for myself and family/friends etc as I'm spending a fortune but now I've lost my job so can't afford 20/30 plus quid a month so thinking about getting the fizzywizz starter kit it's down to 20quid on TikTok shop for first time user what's your thoughts u get 1kg of wax 5x 10mls oils, thermometer, dye, glitter etc or do u have a better way thanks xx
oh i used fizzywizz fragrances and they are really good. that's a good price for a starter kit.. are you in the uk ? if so www.randallscandles.co.uk this is where i buy all my stuff and it's the cheapest by far, and after your starter kit www.livemoor.co.uk is the cheapest i've found for wax get from ebay in smaller batches.. if your just making for yourself. 1kg will last you along time . shout if you need more help, hope that helps x
i did reply also below asking which wax you used.. if parrafin it will be good to go in 48 hrs even thou i've used it myself straightaway when cooled down. if any kind of soy wax i'd say 1 week -2 max.. but if you want to use it yourself straightaway you can it will still smell stronger than what it does cold.. if you was selling it - you can sell it in like a few day, as if they was to use it - it would be like a week with postage etc . well done it's exciting ( but messy to start) x
I used 494 soy wax … yes I did the credit card method I was nervous so probably messed up somewhere …. 1 to 2 weeks great .. do i store with lids on Xx

Amazon do some foil bags, and put them in clear as there clear in the front (with a scoop) OR I just buy some small jars and put a scoop in there. Jars look nicer but dearer to post, I dont charge postage so I’ve gone back onto the bags lol. I got my jars from Wilkos if your on the uk or Amazon but a bit dearer 12 or 24 for about £7 pounds depending on sizes.
OK thank you so much for getting back to me and clearing that up. What type of wax do you use can you use plain paraffin wax or it Has to be a special paraffin wax can use like container person wax or it Has to be a paraffin wax that’s made for wax melts.
@@divabarrie08 no you can’t use container wax, you can use any other like soy paraffin, coconut wax there’s loads, but not container. I only use paraffin as it’s a cheaper wax and harder. There’s loads you can you, but container is for jars and candles.. (which it will work but be messy when you get it out) and won’t burn aswell so not worth it. I use paraffin 4600 which I think is the cheapest to buy.. x hope that helps
yes you can... with this wax it cools down pretty quick - so to prevent you putting it back on the heat - i'd do it about 70- 75 degrees, so you don't burn the fragrance off.. x hope that helps x

@@newjacksaac2317 the best way to is is boil wax - when it's melted or clear add mica and stir till it looks like it's all dissolved.. add your fragrance about about 68-70 no more . stir that in figure of eight motion - and same again but in reverse figure of 8 - SLOWLY not fast. makes sure you do that for 2 mins no less. so do 1 min one way and then 1 min the other way.. and then literally pour straight after.. awww thanks for watching it loads it does help me loads.. yeah i could r find one when i was learning. where do you buy your oils.. as some burn off really quickly ? x
@@newjacksaac2317 i'm sure they would be but if your in the uk this is best www.randallscandles.co.uk/ as you can buy small sample bottles 10ml or 30 ml which would do a full mat of what your wanting to do and they have long shelf life and lots of scents ..

These moulds are soooo east to clean. I just pat all the excess wax off outside or straight into a bin as there’s quite a bit that has missed the holes. I then just squirt with washing up liquid and wipe with a soft sponge. I leave the foam from the soap on and just put on a rinse (not a wash) in the washer. I then put them in the dryer for 5’mins or on the line and there perfect (like new each time)
I use parrafin wax so can heat higher. I hear to about 75/80 then add fragrance about 70 and pour straight after stirring 2 mins, if it starts hardening up again I just put back on the job and the. Pour the rest, it’s ok to reheat again once x
@@divabarrie08 sorry forgot to say DONT use container or pillar wax. Any other with be ok, but paraffin holds the scent longer and never goes off once made up with the fragrance oil (soy does, so if stored awhile when made up) paraffin will always keep the scent. Soy and other brands will lose scent and discolour over time x
This only is to be done with paraffin wax. If your making these drops/scoopies it doesnt apply. It’s for more bigger shapes and candles.. but double pouring means, you pour half of your wax into the mould let it cool till it slightly hardens and then pour the rest. ( this wax ripples, so wouldnt be a smooth finish) doesn’t apply to these as these are too small.. but to wax melts it would.. ) if you used soy wax or any other it would be just one pour. @@Kat_the_bunny well deffinitly Randall’s as above (which 30ml bottles are enough to start I think ) but www.stansfields.shop are also very strong. Don’t go by smelling the bottle that really doesn’t work, I smelt and was disappointed but geez there amazing.
