Dear Curtis, 🔴 In the diagram shown at 8:22, the connection of the APA 103 cable to the xp400 is shown incorrectly. The red wire should be connected to the programmer on the reverse side, not the IR reader side. Like at 10:07 seconds. Also, this diagram does not show how to connect APA 103 cable to the fem module eprom. This can mislead people. 🔴 First explains how to make a connection with the connection diagram. After explaining the key programming process is started. But; 1- When starting the process, there is no information about whether the power is on or off. 2- In the diagram described, fuses are not installed on the Fem module, so key programming cannot be started like that. 3- In the diagram described, it is shown that the xp400 is connected to the eprom and the programming process is started in this way. When starting the programming, no eprom connection is made at this stage. Moreover, in the video described, it is seen that the voltage is on while xp400 connected to the eprom and started process like this, 10:27. Starting this process with the power on depending on the eprom will damage the eprom. I think correcting these details will eliminates the possibility of making mistakes. Thanks.

u disconnect the negative battery cable first because working on the negativce side first is no danger when touching other things, if u disconnect + first u can touch something with your tool and sparks will fly, so u teach to disconnect negative first so those accidents dont happen in the first place

Its difficult to pin point our issue with a proper diagnoses. Maybe there is an underlining problem with the key or component in the immo system. You can try see what faults are stored in the immo system then try relearning the remotes separately if that function is there.
Hello Curtis, my IM608 can't connect with the EEPROM. Probably because there is a layer of coating on it. What solvents should I use to clean the EEPROM to get rid of the coating?! Please advise, many thanks.

Hi Curtis You can explain how to find(read) the pin to the mechanical key of the car (all keys lost)with AUTEL MAXIIM IM608 or there is a separate software that can be purchased on a decoder from AUTEL which it does this by VIN NUMBER. Kind regards

Hello, I need advice from you! I recorded keys with 315Mhz. many times on FEM, not when there were no problems, everything worked fine. A couple of times I wrote down the keys from 434Mhz to F32. and after that the car starts up, but the radio channel does not work! What could be the problem ? When Fem read, it showed 433Mhz. and I recorded the key with 434Mhz! Do they have a difference? Thank you.
Hello Curtis, I added a key to a 4 series 2016 FEM. All steps were successful but once I put everything back to the car the second key is not working. In the dashboard it says key not detected and it was programmed successfully. Do you think it might be the key battery? Any tips or help? Thanks
Hi Manny. From my knowledge once you jailbreak the FEM once , you don't need to do it again afterward. I think if you try doing the procedure via obd and it works , it means its jail broken. If you try via obd and it fails then you need to do it again.

Hey Tiger, You would need to use the j2534 with a windows laptop if you want to do programming with the IM608. The MK908P has the ability to program for bmw and benz only from the tablet. The rest of the manufactures you need to use a j2534 and laptop

Hi Jin, Unfotuntly not. The j2534 is only used with the laptop to do ecu programming. There are other modules the jbox can be linked with but the im508 and 608 are not one of them.

OK so went a few miles to customer vehicle being a 2014 Iveco 3.5 ton flat bed truck, and whilst there tried my new ms908im which I bought hearing it programmed keys and did diagnostics on Iveco. My MS906 does not connect to Iveco. So Autel UK said defo it works on Iveco the new machine for £4000. Got there as said and it did not connect. Device unable to communicate message. So then I found after updates Iveco badge appeared so went back to the Vehicle and still could not communicate. I got in touch with UK support and they very professionally connected to the tablet but did the same as I was. Pressing the same vehicle 2014 and doing nothing else. WHAT CRAP SUPPORT. I was expecting they would type code in and get talking with the Iveco ECU. They are not support. Clearly they are only end user help desk. Theres a huge difference. They told me they would contact Germany and in some time in the future the update would happen. Now I hate being lied to. When I hear bullS*it I just cant sit back and let it pass across my ears. Told the guy too. How dare you say the update will happen. This vehicle is 2014 do you know what year we are in now. More likely the line of Iveco vans will become obsolete and no update was ever done. Still I am not prepared to spend £4000 on a machine and find it does not do all it is supposed to do and then let them keep my money. I want compensation. This is a trading standards issue. Sold something not fit for purpose. Anyway, Anyway, Anyway. So tell me something. Does the tool have a code lock for itself. So If someone steals it they cant get in to use it. Like iPhone.....? Then if you get a vin number and log out then couple days later want to know that vin. Is there a history section within the tool. Like Safari for web pages does. So you could from your chair at home bring up that vin number....? My data website I pay for on cars, does.

Yes but you need the xp400 Pro to have the same level of bench programing as the IM608

If you just want to add a key then I think you can do it by OBD following the prompts when you select the ADD key option. No need to take out FEM

Share how to do all keys lost for Mercedes c180 2001 model using IM608. Key is non functional on ignition or to lock and unlock. Pliz help

@@AutelConsultancy thanks but I realised the problem. The clamp supplied is faulty, it just can't get a consistent read so I've ordered an aftermarket one.

Hi Jin, Unfotuntly not. The j2534 is only used with the laptop to do ecu programming. There are other modules the jbox can be linked with but the im508 and 608 are not one of them.

HI Daniel. Great question. The way I am able to help my client achieve results is via an appointment system. This way I can dedicate that hour to assist the client with no interruptions. If its an emergency you can call me as well but If I am on a booking with another client you can email me . I work normal business hours .

I would really love to get in to autel like everything about it I work on many old cars what we do we modernized them meaning we update engine to present ones And what I used is hp tuners But lately we been getting new cars that need diagnostic and we have to turn them down because we don’t have experience and equipment to help them out.

HI Paco, im actually from ontario California but I live in Cape Town South africa.
OK so went a few miles to customer vehicle being a 2014 Iveco 3.5 ton flat bed truck, and whilst there tried my new ms908im which I bought hearing it programmed keys and did diagnostics on Iveco. My MS906 does not connect to Iveco. So Autel UK said defo it works on Iveco the new machine for £4000. Got there as said and it did not connect. Device unable to communicate message. So then I found after updates Iveco badge appeared so went back to the Vehicle and still could not communicate. I got in touch with UK support and they very professionally connected to the tablet but did the same as I was. Pressing the same vehicle 2014 and doing nothing else. WHAT CRAP SUPPORT. I was expecting they would type code in and get talking with the Iveco ECU. They are not support. Clearly they are only end user help desk. Theres a huge difference. They told me they would contact Germany and in some time in the future the update would happen.
Now I hate being lied to. When I hear bullS*it I just cant sit back and let it pass across my ears. Told the guy too. How dare you say the update will happen. This vehicle is 2014 do you know what year we are in now. More likely the line of Iveco vans will become obsolete and no update was ever done. Still I am not prepared to spend £4000 on a machine and find it does not do all it is supposed to do and then let them keep my money. I want compensation. This is a trading standards issue. Sold something not fit for purpose.
Anyway, Anyway, Anyway. So tell me something. Does the tool have a code lock for itself. So If someone steals it they cant get in to use it. Like iPhone.....?
Then if you get a vin number and log out then couple days later want to know that vin. Is there a history section within the tool. Like Safari for web pages does. So you could from your chair at home bring up that vin number....? My data website I pay for on cars, does.

Saniye 10:07'de olduğu gibi. Ayrıca bu şemada fem modülü epromuna nasıl bağlantı yapılması gerektiği gösterilmiyor. Bu insanları yanıltabilir.
🔴 Videoda önce bağlantı şeması ile nasıl bağlantı yapılacağı anlatılıyor. Hemen akabinde nasıl bağlantı yapılacağı anlatıldıktan sonra anahtar programlama işlemi başlatılıyor. Fakat;
1- İşleme başlarken güç açık mı yoksa kapalı mı başlandığı ile ilgili bilgi verilmiyor.
2- Anlatılan şemada Fem modülü üzerinde sigortalar takılı değil, bu şekilde anahtar programlama işlemi başlatılamaz.
3- Anlatılan şemada xp400 ile eprom bağlantısı yapılmış olarak gösteriliyor ve bu şekilde programlama işlemi başlatılıyor. İlk aşamada eprom bağlantısı yapılmaz. Üstelik anlatılan videoda eprom programlayıcıya bağlı işlem yapılırken voltajın açık olduğu görülüyor. Güç açıkken eproma bağlı bir şekilde bu işlemin başlatılması eproma zarar verir.
Bence bu detayların da belirtilmesi hata yapma olasılığını ortadan kaldırır.
