I love that it has hints of Jotaro, Josuke, Giorno and Jolyne's theme combined but more jazzy and ragtime-y(?) and yet still feels like Jojolion's own color!

This is one of the highest quality JoJo fan OSTs I've ever heard! It sounds distinctly JoJo, and like something that Yugo Kanno himself would compose. Plenty of cues taken from all of the main JoJo themes

Is it a bad thing if this Part 8 Josuke Theme has a little callback or tribute as a reference to the Part 4 Josuke Theme? It’s actually great how this sounds like a completely different theme, it’s really catchy and easy to fall in love with this fan-made theme. Although I’m kinda a little down how it didn’t have a vibe to the Part 4 theme, but it does have a vibe of Giorno’s Theme with the Sax and Jolyne’s Theme with the Guitar, feels like both themes just fused together as whole new banger......

I love the instrumentation at 1:30, it totally fits the quirkiness of part 8 and josuke!

absolute masterpiece. i love the subtle bubble sounds in the background. i feel like this is a completely original theme with touches of both giorno's theme (like the piano and ending) and jotaro's (the guitar riff). like a fusion, but with it's own originality, which for josuk8 IS ABSOLUTELY PERFECT.

Edit: I'm not a fan of Jojolion (much more of a fan of Steel Ball Run), but this was incredible! Easily my favourite fan-made Gappy theme.

THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE BANGER, HOLY! IT SOUNDS SO UNIQUE, IT FEELS LIKE IT WAS COMPOSED BY THE ORIGINAL ANIMATION STUDIO! It's so quirky, jazzy and fun, It compliments Josuke's personality in part 8 so damn well and that "Where is your soul?" line certaintly brought me goosebumps, it's such a perfectly accurate lyric with the manga! Immensely marvellous theme! 👏🏻👌🏻

This fan-made theme is almost like a fusion of Giorno’s Theme with the Sax and Jolyne’s or Jotaro’s Theme with the Guitar and sounding like a whole new banger of a jojo theme. Most importantly, the Chorus where the lyrics intensifies and starts singing *JoJolion **3:05* actually sounds closely similar to Josuke’s Piano Chorus from the Original Part 4 Josuke Theme where there’s also a guitar that plays Jotaro’s Leitmotif or Melody just before the Chorus ends, and this fan made Part 8 Josuke Theme has the same guitar that plays Jotaro’s Leitmotif 3:20, just played differently and on a different key, which makes this entire fan made theme even more *Great as Day....* and just ends the whole song the same way Giorno’s Theme ends.

Actually I wrote this before Stone ocean came out, so any resemblance to jolyne theme is by chance! Even though I don t think it is similar
@@NicoBellisarioMusic Oh, well how about that. I didn’t realize this was written before Jolyne’s Theme was released. That just means this must’ve taken way longer and a lot of time with a great amount of effort to create this fan made theme. So I guess the Jolyne part was just simply Gappy’s own Guitar leitmotif, and I do think they’re almost similar to Jolyne’s Guitar if played in reverse but with a little difference, but even then it’s kinda cool to know it was never based nor inspired by Jolyne’s Theme. Guess I was wrong after all. This fan-made theme is truly a great piece, it’s wonderful to know a little bit of background of how it’s been made. I love it, until then keep up the great work.
Thank you for the interest in the song! I started working on this in summer '21 and initially I was thinking about a jolyne theme but then in october I discovered that stone ocean was coming out, so I decided to change everything to make it suitable for Gappy. But yeah the initial spark was for Jolyne, so maybe that it is what you are hearing! Even though it was quite different when I first wrote the riff.
Basically i had to change most of it, because they are so different characters. The only thing left is the jotaro theme reference.

I dont know why, but the removal of details from the characters is making my brain fill in the rest of the details, but in a more realistic way. It suddenly makes Soft & Wet feel incredibly belivable, like I could just see it next to a person.

Damn this is some good stuff dude, especially around 2:17 I love the build up and the lyrics, it’s really fitting for when Josuke brings back the fight and whoops ass. OMG I swear, whenever this part of the song plays I can’t help but imagine Josuke’s last shot on Tooru! The music cutting out is perfect for when he collapses into the water, making it sound like all hope is lost and than after a brief second the music swirls back in with full force as Josuke’s bubble hits Tooru through the neck launching him backwards!!

The one thing that I'm absolutely crazy excited to hear is Tooru's theme. I can already hear it, a song of calamity that, at first, doesn't seem menacing, but it slooowly turns into something distorted
This song actually gives him his own personality and shows how cool he can actually be. But when go beyond comes around it should be different to symbolise he is different from his former self
definitely conveys the whole summer vibe this song made me realize part 8 had
