Hello my dear! From Voux Patisserie I get straight up marzipan. And it's a very sweet fragrance, but a pretty darn good dupe of Italica. It's going to be polarising, though. Oddly enough, I didn't care for Italica, but I really like this. 🤷🏻♀️Perhaps my taste has changed. In spite of not liking it, I thought you provided a very fair review.

I just got the Voux Patisserie today. Maybe I lucked out because I love mine! The spices were strong at first but the dry down is like a beautiful almond marzipan pastry with a hint of vanilla and flowers. I don’t smell any of the other fruits. You are correct; I smell coconut too. Definitely not a blind buy though. This scent will definitely be polarizing as you said. Thank you!!
Oh lucky you!!! ❤ I do love the dry down but that initial herbal cilantro smell was too overwhelming in my bottle. Hopefully it will macerate and get better. Keeping my fingers crossed ❤

Thank you for reviewing Naseem Twin Paradise and more perfumes from Al Absar, as I have been very curious about them!❤❤ I tried Italica as well as a dupe of Italica from Montagne perfumes, and despite loving the gourmand-sounding notes, I cannot wear either of them - for some strange reason, I get a very strong cilantro or coriander note that totally ruins it for me. I thought I was just crazy, but I did see a few other people having the same response on Fragrantica. The notes of Voux Patisserie sound so wonderful to me, but I won't be purchasing it due to my strange experience with this fragrance DNA.
I was at the shop today trying this, the first 30 mins it didn’t smell gourmand. I guess the bottle was too new and it hasn’t matured yet. 2 hours after it smelled milky.

Hey Sim! Great video!! I have Mudiyah and I heard it was a Donna Born in Roma doop. But I don’t see the similarities! Also, perfumes don’t begin to oxidize until you spray them. That’s when they start to age and get its “flavor”. Sometimes we confuse maceration with oxidation 🥰

Also, if you look at the bottle long enough, it looks like a roasted chicken (the shape) 😂 I love the bottles for the Naseem fragrances. I will have to look at this brand. I used to only use perfume oil back in the day. I do like them because sometimes spraying something into the air can feel irritating to the throat. However, the bottles for Khadlaj are all so pretty and worth having on the vanity.

I'm curious how water-based perfumes will work on me. Oil-based perfumes make my neck very red but I endure it because scents do not usually last on my skin. Farasha is beautiful! I love butterflies. 🦋 I hope there will a blue version of that bottle as well. 🙏🏻

Al Absar is a house I'm looking into. They are a bit more difficult to find here in the US. I only have two, and they are such new production. I love many Naseem perfumes. I use their product lines after bathing and bedtime. Sadat, Sakina, and Laeqa are my favorites. 😊 I find that Naseem products do layer well with one another 😊 The product lines I mentioned have bath gel, lotion, makhamaria, body spray, perfume oil, water perfume. When layered they are eternal and projection is mad!

Their perfume division is fairly new. I think I will laos try using the Naseem fragrances right after shower and lotioning. Ooooh I have not tried the others though. Wow!!! I has no clue that they had any besides perfumes. Shame on me lol.

Just received my Voux Pattisserie today and yep, it’s exactly as you described it lol. This is the only review on youtube that’s accurate to what it smells like! It smells extremely synthetic and the opening fruity notes is headache inducing. This is a hard pass! :/ Edit- It smells much better after an hour tho. I guess this has some potential. Letting it mature for a few weeks.

Hi my beautiful angel, OK, watched it properly as I watched a bit last night, LOVE your thoughts and your expressions. Made me giggle and I feel I would agree with you about Voux Patisserie. I love how honest you are. The cap falling off from Mudiyah by Al Absar is so sad. I guess I was really lucky with my blind buy of The Rose from Al Absar. I really like it, as it is different from the other 'rose' scents I have as the jasmine is doing a lot of blooming and I love that. With the Naseem water perfumes , I was concerned how I would feel wearing those (but the name and notes of Summer 69 was calling to me and I had such a good price for this so I bought it some time ago) so I used it after having a shower and using an unscented body lotion, waited for this to sink in and then sprayed myself ( I knew I like the smell) generously on bare skin and waited to dry. I did not get any suntan lotion vibe with this but perhaps it is my body chemistry or that Summer 69 smells different. I was a touch worried about the green notes ( nothing else worried me except perhaps it being a water based perfume) but to me it smells so divine of fresh grass on an early morning with dew on it. I wore it a few times even on a cold day and it reminded me of summer ( I sprayed it only on skin), the longevity surprised me, I still smelled it 8 hours later. I wore a lot of layers but the skin on my neck, throat etc obviously made the scent last well. When I got ready for bed and undressed it was suddenly as if I was standing again outside at dawn in summer. I think the base notes of Vetiver, Suede, Amber and Musk make it long lasting. I am really glad I bought this and look forward to wearing it in spring when more skin is exposed rather than many layers covering the scent. Once it was on my skin and dried, it did not stain any clothing. BTW I love the Jasmine note in this so much. Thank you, my hun for another video review and I send Markus smoochies 😻🙀, I will be sharing new photos on Instagram on on this channel of Zorro ( that is the other masked young sweet possum, she may be a female so she should be called Zorrie or Zorra 🤣) and Bruce, Bruce looks as if he smiles constantly as his fawn stripes are so prominent. Purrs from our kitties 😻😽who love watching Zorro and Bruce who seem to like my sourdough Pepita home baked bread the best, when you go out they take it out of your hands so fast ( but so gently ). Zorro ate for a full hour here the other night, which makes us wonder if it is a girl as even young ones can have babies and perhaps she is eating for 2. Wouldn't that be special? 🐾 The baby stays 7 months to 16 in the pouch and with her mother and gets also carried on her back, the father also helps. We feel if she is a female Bruce is her mate. As they have arrived here together a few times. They have the sweetest eyes and look into your eyes when you go and handfeed them or even when you are watching. I will be interested to see how the Voux Patisserie will taste, I mean smell 🤣😂. You'd think with such a name it would be smelling divine although not sure I want to smell like a piece of cake really 😅, sorry I am tired and when I get tired I get silly. The Rose to me smells different from the other rose perfumes I own so I was really happy. I did not want the same rose, to me it has a ME vibe going on and I love it, but I do love rose ( but it has jasmine as well in this which I can smell clearly with my nose). Perhaps because I do not have soooo many rose ME perfumes it smells different and that's why I love it. Naseem Summer69 smells so nice, really fresh and for some reason does remind me of the 60s, perhaps it is the suede note 🤣😂(sorry that fatigue means I am now laughing over my own poor jokes 😆) , but I really like it. If you do get this I really hope you will love it as well, again to my nose it smells different from the other perfumes I own which made me happy as I did not want a duplicate and the early morning of summer with fresh dew vibe made me so happy, I love that fresh note in it. But it also has Jasmine and I love my jasmine notes, is well blended with some fruity notes to my nose. I am answering with this channel as I am uploading a music video so I cannot change channels. As far as Paddy Bub is concerned , every night or dusk the pademelons still come and get their treats at the front garden, they have not been coming to the back garden , I am sure come summer they will visit the back garden during the day again. Oh Markus, Sunti also put on a tiny bit, he has a hint of a pot belly ( do not tell him, I said this), it feels so cute as he is such a skinny agile cat but the vet said a touch of 'middle age' spread at 7 is OK, he is our baby, I was horrified at the thought of middle age spread !!! So after winter he will get less treats, just a tad less. It is so hard to say no and not spoil them rotten, I would feed him all day long.... 😍 I hear you. Just wondering if you have tried Lattafa Andaleeb Flora. It’s the pretty purple one. I really like it and it’s very long lasting. I don’t see many people talking about it.
Most of those milky looking perfumes have powder in them, so you are supposed to spray it on your skin and rub it in with your hands. It's supposed to be a lighter scent and I don't know that maceration would do a whole lot.

Hey Sim! Great video!! I have Mudiyah and I heard it was a Donna Born in Roma doop. But I don’t see the similarities! Also, perfumes don’t begin to oxidize until you spray them. That’s when they start to age and get its “flavor”. Sometimes we confuse maceration with oxidation 🥰

Also, if you look at the bottle long enough, it looks like a roasted chicken (the shape) 😂 I love the bottles for the Naseem fragrances. I will have to look at this brand. I used to only use perfume oil back in the day. I do like them because sometimes spraying something into the air can feel irritating to the throat. However, the bottles for Khadlaj are all so pretty and worth having on the vanity.

Voux Patisserie will surely be a skip from me. It has caramel and I know I'll dislike it. I'm curious how water-based perfumes will work on me. Oil-based perfumes make my neck very red but I endure it because scents do not usually last on my skin.

Al Absar is a house I'm looking into. They are a bit more difficult to find here in the US. I only have two, and they are such new production.
I love many Naseem perfumes. I use their product lines after bathing and bedtime. Sadat, Sakina, and Laeqa are my favorites. 😊 I find that Naseem products do layer well with one another 😊
The product lines I mentioned have bath gel, lotion, makhamaria, body spray, perfume oil, water perfume. When layered they are eternal and projection is mad!

You are so right. The Al Absar perfumery is brand new. They are a famous group of companies here under the name of "Cool n Cool" and usually make toiletries. Their perfume division is fairly new.

Just received my Voux Pattisserie today and yep, it’s exactly as you described it lol. This is the only review on youtube that’s accurate to what it smells like! It smells extremely synthetic and the opening fruity notes is headache inducing. This is a hard pass! :/
Edit- It smells much better after an hour tho. I guess this has some potential. Letting it mature for a few weeks.

Hi my beautiful angel, OK, watched it properly as I watched a bit last night, LOVE your thoughts and your expressions. Made me giggle and I feel I would agree with you about Voux Patisserie. I love how honest you are. The cap falling off from Mudiyah by Al Absar is so sad.
I guess I was really lucky with my blind buy of The Rose from Al Absar. I really like it, as it is different from the other 'rose' scents I have as the jasmine is doing a lot of blooming and I love that.
With the Naseem water perfumes , I was concerned how I would feel wearing those (but the name and notes of Summer 69 was calling to me and I had such a good price for this so I bought it some time ago) so I used it after having a shower and using an unscented body lotion, waited for this to sink in and then sprayed myself ( I knew I like the smell) generously on bare skin and waited to dry. I did not get any suntan lotion vibe with this but perhaps it is my body chemistry or that Summer 69 smells different. I was a touch worried about the green notes ( nothing else worried me except perhaps it being a water based perfume) but to me it smells so divine of fresh grass on an early morning with dew on it. I wore it a few times even on a cold day and it reminded me of summer ( I sprayed it only on skin), the longevity surprised me, I still smelled it 8 hours later. I wore a lot of layers but the skin on my neck, throat etc obviously made the scent last well. When I got ready for bed and undressed it was suddenly as if I was standing again outside at dawn in summer. I think the base notes of Vetiver, Suede, Amber and Musk make it long lasting. I am really glad I bought this and look forward to wearing it in spring when more skin is exposed rather than many layers covering the scent. Once it was on my skin and dried, it did not stain any clothing. BTW I love the Jasmine note in this so much.

Purrs from our kitties 😻😽who love watching Zorro and Bruce who seem to like my sourdough Pepita home baked bread the best, when you go out they take it out of your hands so fast ( but so gently ). Zorro ate for a full hour here the other night, which makes us wonder if it is a girl as even young ones can have babies and perhaps she is eating for 2. Wouldn't that be special? 🐾 The baby stays 7 months to 16 in the pouch and with her mother and gets also carried on her back, the father also helps. We feel if she is a female Bruce is her mate. As they have arrived here together a few times. They have the sweetest eyes and look into your eyes when you go and handfeed them or even when you are watching. Enough sweet critter gossip. 🦘🦜

The Rose to me smells different from the other rose perfumes I own so I was really happy. I did not want the same rose, to me it has a ME vibe going on and I love it, but I do love rose ( but it has jasmine as well in this which I can smell clearly with my nose). Perhaps because I do not have soooo many rose ME perfumes it smells different and that's why I love it.
Naseem Summer69 smells so nice, really fresh and for some reason does remind me of the 60s, perhaps it is the suede note 🤣😂(sorry that fatigue means I am now laughing over my own poor jokes 😆) , but I really like it. If you do get this I really hope you will love it as well, again to my nose it smells different from the other perfumes I own which made me happy as I did not want a duplicate and the early morning of summer with fresh dew vibe made me so happy, I love that fresh note in it. But it also has Jasmine and I love my jasmine notes, is well blended with some fruity notes to my nose.

As far as Paddy Bub is concerned , every night or dusk the pademelons still come and get their treats at the front garden, they have not been coming to the back garden , I am sure come summer they will visit the back garden during the day again.
Oh Markus, Sunti also put on a tiny bit, he has a hint of a pot belly ( do not tell him, I said this), it feels so cute as he is such a skinny agile cat but the vet said a touch of 'middle age' spread at 7 is OK, he is our baby, I was horrified at the thought of middle age spread !!! So after winter he will get less treats, just a tad less. It is so hard to say no and not spoil them rotten, I would feed him all day long.... 😍 I hear you.

Most of those milky looking perfumes have powder in them, so you are supposed to spray it on your skin and rub it in with your hands.
It's supposed to be a lighter scent and I don't know that maceration would do a whole lot.
