I love Rock candy sugar. Very addictive scent. I have a serious dent. I prefer it to La Belle. It’s gorgeous. I hope someone does a dupe for it . I’m letting my other bottle macerate because it’s light. I don’t mind though .

I did not enjoy Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar at first. I bought a sample and a 10ml and felt the sample had such a spicy pear opening it turned me off. I debated returning my 10ml, but decided to try it. As I started to use it, the spicy pear note started to lessen and the sweet, candy notes started to amp up. Now, I’ve gone through my 10ml and love it! I get a solid 6 hours on skin and 8 if I overspray. Hoping to get my 50ml today!

Hi Simin. I love your channel. I got Sehr yesterday and you are correct; it smells like a mix of Eclaire, Kamrah, with that animalic note from Ishq but just more mellow. The problem I’m having today is I can’t smell anything now when I spray it. My husband says he can smell it but I can’t! Have I become anosmic?? I’m staying away for a few days or weeks and will come back to it. The bottle is beautiful.

When it comes to Sehr from Lattafa, I'm a bit lost. I saw other reviews and this fragrance was compared to Vanille Absolu Montale and in another to Teriaq mixed with Ameer al oud intens. I have the impression that everyone feels something different here. I guess we'll have to wait until the perfume has a chance to mature and then show its true face.
I think you are right. Coz I am the only one picking up on the suede as of now I feel. I will revisit Teriaq soon in my maceration update video. I am really looking forward to see if that has improved too for my nose ❤ Sehr is definitely a head scratcher now for me due to the mixed reviews ❤❤❤
Omg I switch caps on my perfumes too!!! It’s probably frowned upon but I keep them on display, so if the cap is wack, I find something in my collection that looks better.

You know just to cross check I sprayed it again my myself last night. The suede note is unmistakable. Surely not as strong as Ishq Al Shuyukh though. It is like they made Sehr a mass appealing Ishq Al Shuyukh ❤ I still quite like it though ❤❤❤
If you have an interest in fragrances, then you should know by now that scent can be very subjective so it happens that two people perceive the same scent differently. It's not a new thing. That's why the best is to go by your own nose
I just got my Sehr Lattafa yesterday and I’m sooooo impressed by the presentation. I would do a full review soon Hmmm I don’t get Khamrah from it but I’ll keep testing it. I haven’t tried Ishq Al Shuyukh yet. I do get a suede and prominent coffee note

I think the prices are going up on oriental perfumes and I hope they won't become too expensive because most of them are a dupe for other OG perfumes that we don't afford. Sometimes less is more, this applies to the prices too. Its how bussines has to be for success. I started my journey with this type of perfumes because i am a regular person that simply gets bored very fast of perfumes and want to enjoy new once.If the price is good, I buy as manny I can. Mentally is nice to get myself a gift. And the OG perfumes are simply going way to expensive this days. I don't understand why? Its a water with a smell, not gold. What is the point?
Absolutely! And designer perfume market heavily and have a lot over overheads. Middle eastern perfumes are banking on their popularity alone and escalating prices. It will ultimately lead to their demise if they don’t stop increasing prices. I too am like you. I wear three different perfume in a day or more coz I get bored easily 😫
I have sehr , khamrah and ishq al shuyukh Gold. My opinion sehr doesnt smell like you describe it . Maybe because im in Germany, and when it came , its cooler here . Maybe you should put sehr bottle in a cooler place , and sprays it again once a while . It is completely different than both perfumes you mentioned.

I love the Sehr bottle, too! I'm digging a lot of Al Wataniah. I've bought several, and I would never guess they're $20 cheapies. They are catching on in the States, and I'm seeing more gouging happening. They do need to maturate, but if you're patient, these frags perform great. Thank you for covering Khadlaj!!! I can't say "I luv Khadlaj" enough! I am an oil girl, and Khadlaj does the absolute BEST oils. I WISH they would reply to my emails. As for Al Wataniah; Leen, Nour Al Sabah, Sabah Al Ward, Duha, Shagaf Al Ward, Dafa Al Rue, Special Oud, Dai'm, Watani (Purple), Ameerati, Ameeri paired with Khadlaj Sultan Blue oil is great in the sweltering heat 🥵 🔥 ☀️ for easy days. Oooh, @SiminShaikh, I love the lilac on you! Purple (after burgundy) is my favourite colour, and it is sad that you rarely see designers use/people wear it, while it is a shade that looks good on almost anyone, no matter skin colour, skin tone (though my fellow cool toned beauties: royal purple and berry, the lilac is for our warm toned friends) or whether they're a blonde, redhead or brunette. I've completely given up on ever getting in a relationship again, let alone be a bride some day, but I always envisioned purple shades in the flowers, and in the dresses/suits of the wedding party. Sigh... 💜. I rarely disagree with you, but Sabah Al Ward is absolutely not similar like Amarige 😮. I HATE Amarige and really like the Sabah. (As for the jasmine, yeah the type is the same as Alien, but there the comparison is finished, imho). I really, really wonder if they changed the formula (as the cap is different as on mine, too). If that's the case I'm going to cry because it is so hard to find fragrances I like/love that I can also wear in Spring/Summer (Dutch Summer 😂). Mine does smell like cacao! On my skin, on fabric and in the air. I get a juicy orange, Orangeblossom, Cacao, with jasmine and vanilla as the supporting cast. I think the Tonka works more as a fixative, than as a note. Zero patchouli too. Imho it's a dupe of the discontinued Roberto Cavalli fragrance. Not vintage. Actually relatively modern. Do me a favour, will you? Put it with on your maturing shelf, and smell it again in a few months? I want to know if you get the Cacao then and no longer think of Amarige. Otherwise I might have to say goodbye forgood to this perfume 😢. - Btw, I'm also a big fan of La Belle Le Parfum/ Intense (the OG, not so much). I have quite a few autumn/ winter perfumes and adore many of them, but LBI is in my top 5 compliment getters (besides Khamrah, Khadlaj Intoxicate, Libre Intense, and Chopard Love). Actually, I never miss out on a compliment when I wear it😊. If they ever create an affordable quality dupe, I'll for sure buy it. The original is a tad too expensive for the number of times I grab for it. Especially because it also smells amazing in combination with other fragrances like Lost Cherry, Givenchy L'interdit Rouge, Nebras/ any other chocolate scents, Rose Musc Noir and a few more. I'm currently considering trying to layer it with Reminiscence Tonka. -As for the price of Sehr... yeah, I fear they heard you. Ssshhhh, don't talk about higher prices! The cheapest I've seen it here is €80, so that's like 90 dollars US And until now, every expensive Middle Eastern fragrance I bought was a major letdown (Junoon Rose, Antique, Toleen. Though Toleen is actually kind of nice now), especially because they were just as expensive as western high end perfumes. So, me and my inner fragrance diva have discussed it, and we are no longer paying more than 40 bucks for Lattafa/ all those standard brands. Maybe I'll pay more for Swiss Arabian- Amber 07, if I ever get the opportunity to smell it.

Oh no. We get this gum over here that comes in a small rectangular pack and it has these tiny balls (4 of them) they come in all fruits and I wanted to try all of them and the green one was apple 🤢

Yes my hun ❤ The UAE produced fragrances are cheaper here due to the logistic charges. I suppose the certifications, shipping and storage invites an increase in the prices abroad. In UAE for example Lush products are 75% higher in price due to the logistics of raw material etc.

Hahaha yea Sehr packaging is "Excessive" to say the least. Its so heavy, it feel like a weapon. I hope the chocolate emerges more in Sabah Al Ward. It will elevate the perfume so much more when it does ❤ I will make a Khadlaj compilation soon my hun ❤ It is long overdue. But to me there is an unmistakable likeness to Ishq Al Shuykh and Khamrah ❤ If you ever lay your nose on it, can you let me know if smells of vanillic suede with cinnamon to you?

I did not enjoy Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar at first. I bought a sample and a 10ml and felt the sample had such a spicy pear opening it turned me off. I debated returning my 10ml, but decided to try it. As I started to use it, the spicy pear note started to lessen and the sweet, candy notes started to amp up. Now, I’ve gone through my 10ml and love it! I get a solid 6 hours on skin and 8 if I overspray. Hoping to get my 50ml today!

Hi Simin. I love your channel. I got Sehr yesterday and you are correct; it smells like a mix of Eclaire, Kamrah, with that animalic note from Ishq but just more mellow.
The problem I’m having today is I can’t smell anything now when I spray it. My husband says he can smell it but I can’t! Have I become anosmic?? I’m staying away for a few days or weeks and will come back to it. The bottle is beautiful.

When it comes to Sehr from Lattafa, I'm a bit lost. I saw other reviews and this fragrance was compared to Vanille Absolu Montale and in another to Teriaq mixed with Ameer al oud intens. I have the impression that everyone feels something different here. I guess we'll have to wait until the perfume has a chance to mature and then show its true face.
I think you are right. Coz I am the only one picking up on the suede as of now I feel. I will revisit Teriaq soon in my maceration update video. I am really looking forward to see if that has improved too for my nose ❤ Sehr is definitely a head scratcher now for me due to the mixed reviews ❤❤❤
Omg I switch caps on my perfumes too!!! It’s probably frowned upon but I keep them on display, so if the cap is wack, I find something in my collection that looks better.

You know just to cross check I sprayed it again my myself last night. The suede note is unmistakable. Surely not as strong as Ishq Al Shuyukh though. It is like they made Sehr a mass appealing Ishq Al Shuyukh ❤ I still quite like it though ❤❤❤
If you have an interest in fragrances, then you should know by now that scent can be very subjective so it happens that two people perceive the same scent differently. It's not a new thing. That's why the best is to go by your own nose

I don’t like scent of leather or suede in my perfumes but this one is so light it doesn’t bother me, it smells very nice but I feel I just got another khamra with a tiny twist! Maybe more sweeter??? This is what I’m getting. How about you?

I think the prices are going up on oriental perfumes and I hope they won't become too expensive because most of them are a dupe for other OG perfumes that we don't afford. Sometimes less is more, this applies to the prices too. Its how bussines has to be for success. I started my journey with this type of perfumes because i am a regular person that simply gets bored very fast of perfumes and want to enjoy new once.If the price is good, I buy as manny I can. Mentally is nice to get myself a gift. And the OG perfumes are simply going way to expensive this days. I don't understand why? Its a water with a smell, not gold. What is the point?
Absolutely! And designer perfume market heavily and have a lot over overheads. Middle eastern perfumes are banking on their popularity alone and escalating prices. It will ultimately lead to their demise if they don’t stop increasing prices. I too am like you. I wear three different perfume in a day or more coz I get bored easily 😫
I have sehr , khamrah and ishq al shuyukh Gold. My opinion sehr doesnt smell like you describe it . Maybe because im in Germany, and when it came , its cooler here . Maybe you should put sehr bottle in a cooler place , and sprays it again once a while . It is completely different than both perfumes you mentioned.

I watched your review and thought the notes you shared were the ones you showed but then I saw that some reviews mentioned Pistachio, I need to check with my retailer if the sale is because it is 'old' , stock , meaning the version you had reviewed as that sounded soooo good.

I love the Sehr bottle, too! I'm digging a lot of Al Wataniah. I've bought several, and I would never guess they're $20 cheapies. They are catching on in the States, and I'm seeing more gouging happening. They do need to maturate, but if you're patient, these frags perform great.

Oooh, @SiminShaikh, I love the lilac on you! Purple (after burgundy) is my favourite colour, and it is sad that you rarely see designers use/people wear it, while it is a shade that looks good on almost anyone, no matter skin colour, skin tone (though my fellow cool toned beauties: royal purple and berry, the lilac is for our warm toned friends) or whether they're a blonde, redhead or brunette. I've completely given up on ever getting in a relationship again, let alone be a bride some day, but I always envisioned purple shades in the flowers, and in the dresses/suits of the wedding party. Sigh... 💜.
I rarely disagree with you, but Sabah Al Ward is absolutely not similar like Amarige 😮. I HATE Amarige and really like the Sabah. (As for the jasmine, yeah the type is the same as Alien, but there the comparison is finished, imho). I really, really wonder if they changed the formula (as the cap is different as on mine, too). If that's the case I'm going to cry because it is so hard to find fragrances I like/love that I can also wear in Spring/Summer (Dutch Summer 😂).
Mine does smell like cacao! On my skin, on fabric and in the air. I get a juicy orange, Orangeblossom, Cacao, with jasmine and vanilla as the supporting cast. I think the Tonka works more as a fixative, than as a note. Zero patchouli too. Imho it's a dupe of the discontinued Roberto Cavalli fragrance. Not vintage. Actually relatively modern. Do me a favour, will you? Put it with on your maturing shelf, and smell it again in a few months? I want to know if you get the Cacao then and no longer think of Amarige. Otherwise I might have to say goodbye forgood to this perfume 😢.
- Btw, I'm also a big fan of La Belle Le Parfum/ Intense (the OG, not so much). I have quite a few autumn/ winter perfumes and adore many of them, but LBI is in my top 5 compliment getters (besides Khamrah, Khadlaj Intoxicate, Libre Intense, and Chopard Love). Actually, I never miss out on a compliment when I wear it😊. If they ever create an affordable quality dupe, I'll for sure buy it. The original is a tad too expensive for the number of times I grab for it. Especially because it also smells amazing in combination with other fragrances like Lost Cherry, Givenchy L'interdit Rouge, Nebras/ any other chocolate scents, Rose Musc Noir and a few more. I'm currently considering trying to layer it with Reminiscence Tonka.
-As for the price of Sehr... yeah, I fear they heard you. Ssshhhh, don't talk about higher prices! The cheapest I've seen it here is €80, so that's like 90 dollars US And until now, every expensive Middle Eastern fragrance I bought was a major letdown (Junoon Rose, Antique, Toleen. Though Toleen is actually kind of nice now), especially because they were just as expensive as western high end perfumes. So, me and my inner fragrance diva have discussed it, and we are no longer paying more than 40 bucks for Lattafa/ all those standard brands. Maybe I'll pay more for Swiss Arabian- Amber 07, if I ever get the opportunity to smell it.

Yes my hun ❤ The UAE produced fragrances are cheaper here due to the logistic charges. I suppose the certifications, shipping and storage invites an increase in the prices abroad. In UAE for example Lush products are 75% higher in price due to the logistics of raw material etc.

Vanilla Candy is not very sweet surprisingly. Think La Belle in terms of sweetness and genre and you will know how Vanilla Candy smells like.

Sehr is bang on in the middle of the scale. But when a woman wears it, it adapts and smells feminine. Although mine has that suede note I spoke about. Some people are not getting the duede though xo

Same here!! I am a cancer and hate apple in fragrance. I could not stand Kayali Eden Apple. I also can’t do much with pear, even though I love both fruits.
