- 12-YEAR-OLD STUDENT NABAM ESTHER FINALLY LAID TO REST IN LEOPORIANG, PARENTS AND ORGANIZATIONS RAISE CONCERN OVER THE MUSHROOMING OF UNREGULATED PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN THE STATE.
Late Nabam Esther, a 12-year-old girl student of class 6 was studying at Rising Star International School in Emchi in Papum Pare district and died on the school’s campus on Friday.
Why are the murderer's names muted?? What's the point of reporting if we are not going to be informed about their identities?? Is it because they are minors? This doesn't change the fact that they are murderers and you best believe that if they can do this horrendous act at such a younger age ,they are not going to be much different when they grow up. I hope we can give nabam Esther the justice she deserves.
They are still the accused not convicted yet by the court. If they are found not guilty then instead they can file a case against the family for defamation. That is why in most cases the accused name and identity are not revealed.
@studyiq8322 I get your point but the amount of evidences and witnesses collected by now should be enough for atleast an action to be taken whereas I see no sign of any strict action being taken . By this I donot mean to disregard your point but it seems so sceptical to me that the public is still not informed about the accused families whereabouts or if they're are under any police invigilation

In Arunachal Pradesh, ragging is a concerning issue. During my childhood days at VKV, it was treated as a tradition. The government of AP should take immediate action to address this ongoing problem. I still hold a grudge against the seniors who bullied us for fun.

I was in a similar school (hostel). I had bruises(purplish black blood ) spread all over different parts of the body.
We were beaten when the seniors were angry, we were breaten when they were bored, we were beaten for smallest of reasons possible. There was no way to exist that avoided their beating & bullying. Neither good nor obedience to senior could guarantee sparing us. Just our existence meant we would be beaten & harrassed.
We couldn't tell our teachers & family because we believed it would only make things go really bad for us. The most teachers & parents can do would be to schold the senior kids but at the end of the day when teachers & parents return back to their house. We would get the beatings & ragging multiplied 100s of times more than the initial incident. There was no point of telling parents & teachers because we had to live with seniors 24 hours of the day.
I cannot completely blame seniors too because it was not an individual's problem but cyclical disease. As we grew up with beatings & bullying & we also grew bitter with the experience holding the dark hope of doing the 100× times of what we have suffered to our juniors in future when we would be seniors. A crowd or a mob is the most mindless & stupid creature. In that way, the cyclical pattern of traumatic ragging kept repeating while students kept coming & going.
What can be done?( I'll leave that to you)

All 3 murders should be put in jail... There should not be any excuses of minor age. There should be law for minor age murderer.

Even in Tripura in rural school areas my friend told me how they were forced to wash toilet and more horrifying things are done to them which is a violation of their human right like sexually.. I cant explain in detail cause my friend doesn't proceed to speak much of it due to not to remember the horror. Now that school has stopped bullying which is good for today's kid. Bullying has become a stigma for some people to manipulate and brainwashed people by saying we are making that person to face others... I mean like how can you traumatize someone and tell them it is good for future..Bullying for me is a crime and a disease to a society

Tbh bully and assaults happens at every school i think parents too have some idea but they never take it as serious until it comes to this point, if the child has taken the step to tell that the school is not good without telling the reason the parents should know it's not right or maybe ask them seriously and take serious measures cause it's never really easy to tell parents about bullying , the child feels that if they tell them everything truthfully they will only ask the teachers/warden/principal (and i think they already know abt it too )to tell kids to not do it any more which makes bullying worse than hell and you can never bring it up again ever you have to walk on egg shells everyday and it's trauma for life so parents should not take it as some little kids tantrum to not go to hostel cause till date it gets really hard to get over it no matter which phase of life you are in..
