I loved her in a comedy called "Keeping Mum" she was a brilliant actress. What a nice idea to have her in your Journal too. I'm with you on the weather and arthritis, and animals too get the same problem. Amazing price for your bargains, so pleased you saw it in time. This page has turned out beautifully, the colours gel so well, and your finishing touches really make it special. Thank you for sharing, i hope your week goes well, Love to you and Chester.xx ps I hope you had a great weekend away x
Mich: Dame Maggie Smith was quite an actress. I so enjoyed seeing her in different roles. You certainly did a wonderful page honoring her. Just lovely. I’m sure she’s smiling. Carol from California
Another Sunday morning watching your video - awesome. Only 10 more weeks to go in this series - hard to believe. I've enjoyed them all. 'So nice that you chose Maggie Smith as your famous person. She was a wonderful actress. Enjoy your time away.
Lovely collage Mich, just my colours! Thank you for making it a tribute to the great Maggie Smith, such a great actress she will be sorely missed 😢 I know people associate her with Downton Abbey, but she was terrific in so many movies…Ladies in Lavender, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel just to name 2 of my favourites! One of our finest ❤
I always enjoy watching your process, and recently I’ve picked up 2 distinct methods from your flip through. First is not needing all your corners to meet, and I love the way most pages have a repeat of a single color, which I think adds continuity. Your sharing your thoughts is priceless. Barb in Cali
Another great collage… I actually bought the prompts to do this years Margarete Miller challenge. However it was quarter way into when I decided to start, thinking I could catch up, but due to health challenges I just never did it. When you speak of your arthritis I understand your pain. But mine is due to needing a hip replacement. Many will know what that pain does to your quality of life. However, I have discovered something that has helped immensely with the pain! So I’m giving God the glory for my improvement and thankful for something that is working. Back to your page and the “tea”, in the day when you got out your best china tea cups to serve tea, my English grandmother would pour very warm water into the cup first, steep the tea for a few minutes, empty the water from the cup add a small amount of milk, then pour the tea, that ensured the tea would stay hot. Adding milk after pouring the tea would cool the tea down. Personally when I drink tea, I prefer it black! To this day I still prefer tea in my china cups.😊as do all my sisters! I’ve never seen the tv series you were talking about, but I’m sure it was entertaining. Thanks for sharing I always enjoy seeing a fellow Nova Scotian on UA-cam! Happy Thanksgiving!
As always, just beautiful, Mich. Your finishing touches just make it every time. I have peppermint or lemon and ginger tea - no milk at all! Hope your weekend away was lovely. 😊
Another lovely collage Mich, your collages are all lovely, I so enjoy watching you put them together. I loved Downton Abbey, in fact I've been thinking I may need to go watch it again. I love British television so much, but I am running out of things to watch. Have you ever heard of or watched 'Keeping up Appearances'? It's so funny. And I love, love. love Doc Martin too, if you've never watched it, you should check it out sometime, it's comedy/drama. Fantastic show, with a great cast of characters, and it was filmed in the fishing village of Port Isaac, right on the coast, in Cornwall, absolutely stunning views! I could live out my days there. I hope you have had a great end of the season mini vacation. We had planned our annual autumn trip up to North Carolina/Tennessee for this past weekend, but as everyone knows that area is in ruins after hurricane Helene. My heart is broken for all the folks up there, as well as in Florida. So very sad. Anyhow, I've rambled on enough. Look after yourself and hopefully we'll see you again real soon. Happy crafting!
Happy Thanksgiving weekend Mich, another super page, your creativity is wonderful. You will have had your break at Whitepoint when you posted this. Bob & I loved going there and having one of the cabins on the ocean front, a happy memory, thank you. Now regarding tea, having lived in England I became a tea drinker… if I am drinking black tea I have Earl Grey with lemon, if I am having my PG Tips which I can get here at the International section of Superstore, Sobeys etc. if using my little teapot I warm the pot first and put the milk in the china cup first but if I am having tinkers tea which is the teabag in the cup I then add the milk once the teabag has steeped. I guess I picked up English ways while I lived there. Regarding arthritis, I have it in my hands and yes the weather does seem to give me pain!! How wonderful that you spent an early Christmas at Shoppers with your Optimum points 🎉 Awaiting your next video 🥰🌷❤️🌺
Mich I love that you dedicated your page to Maggie Smith. An iconic actress and loved her in Downton Abby. Your page is lovely and I can just hear her say “The teas on you table matters”. Hope you had a wonderful trip. I have arthritis too so I understand your pain. Blessing to you TFS
Including Maggie in today's project was so thoughtful of you, Mich. She was such a great actress - my favourites being her roles in Downton & Harry Potter, what's yours? Also, I am a big tea drinker 😊 & as I have it really weak, the whole milk or tea first thing isn't an issue to me 😅 Fabulous collage today. ❤
Another beautiful collage! I love the instructions - even though I am not a tea drinker, I agree with the milk-in-last-approach in my coffee as the color of the coffee determines the amount of milk ☕
I really enjoy your collages they help me with ideas for my own,, love your style. Have a lovely holiday and Happy Thanksgiving. Pumpkin pie is my favourite part of thanksgiving luckily a kind friend usually makes one for me, it is not really part of the diet here in Northern Ireland.
Hi MIch! This is such a sweet remembrance for Maggie Smith. The colors coordinate so well. I love the whole idea of the tea table and her. Miss Manners had quite the edge to her. Regarding tea, I am not a tea drinker, but my mother sure was. Milk went in after pouring because you need to see the strength of the tea. Has it steeped long enough? These were the instructions from my English grandmother. Thanks for another excellent tutorial. Happy Thanksgiving! Carol L. Langley, B.C.
Hi Carol. We had a great thanksgiving. I hope you guys did too. I think it makes sense to put the cream in after too, as then you can determine the strength. 😊
I'm struggling with this week's collage and love how yours came together perfectly, so thanks for the inspiration . I've liked and subscribed too, would love your opinion of my collage once its completed xx
Maggie was a great actress. I love the collage in remembrance of her. Have a great vacation and stay safe.

I loved her in downtown abbey and the best exotic marigold hotel. I’m not a big tea drinker except herbal tea. I love coffee though. Yum ❤️
Mich, what a nice page for Maggie. We have been loosing a lot of our Hollywood people lately. Sad. Hugs to you.
Yes sad. When you grow up with someone watching them on tellie, it’s sometimes like you know them 🌸
Another beautiful collage! I love the instructions - even though I am not a tea drinker, I agree with the milk-in-last-approach in my coffee as the color of the coffee determines the amount of milk ☕
Yes I do the milk in last too in my coffee. 😊
Like everyone who commented I also loved Maggie Smith.
A great MM challenge. Loved the purple butterfly and chrysanthemum !
Thanks Norma. Yes she was an icon ❤️
❤❤
Hello Mich! I don’t add milk or cream to my tea , usually have green or herbal tea so just drink it as is !!! Lovely tribute page 🦋🌸🩷
Hi Mel! I don’t drink regular tea, but do like herbal teas too. ❤️
Love everything you create!
Oh thank you so much 🥰
Thanks for sharing Mich! I always enjoy your demos. They are inspiring and calming to watch and listen to. Happy Thanksgiving!🍁

We didn’t do the paint class but I do love going. I sometimes don’t like how it turns out but I always like attending. 😊
Precioso trabajo ❤❤ saludos desde Argentina

It’s sometimes a struggle to get the collage prompts to make sense. I’m glad you found some inspiration. I’m sure it will be lovely 😊
I so enjoyed Maggie Smith’s movies especially her quips in Downton Abbey! 🫖 No milk in my tea, just a little honey! Love your collage today!
