Very well done on the course PB Andy 🥳 Content has been absolutely fantastic 🙌 So wish you, and the family, a Happy New Year and look forward to what you have in store for us in 2025 🤞
Congrats to you Andy, what a way to finish a year! I love watching your race day videos, whenever you overtake someone, it seems like you fly over him 😂 Best wishes to you and your family in the new year!
Brilliant Andy, well done 🙌 Glad to see the start/finish (and bag drop off) were back to normal this year 😂 Such a strong year for you after a bumpy start but you’ve left 2024 in top form. Thanks for all the videos this year and best of luck with your 2025 goals 😊
@@runningoneddie - thanks Eddie. Things are good here, plenty of running recently, just no filming. Hope your running is going well too. Best wishes for 2025 🙂
Well, congratulations man. That’s great. I’m gonna have to see how I do Sunday. I have a 50 K I heard a challenging first one but the way to start the new year. Congratulations again.
Well done Andy, great running on that horror of a course. I remember watching last years video thinking “is Hereford too far away” ….. I’ll put it on my list. A great scenic and hilly race is the Elan Valley ten miler in November. About 900 ft of elevation I think. Well done, great end to your year.
Thanks John! Its definitely a good one to jump into... zero expectations, just go there and race hard after xmas! Elan valley sounds like a good suggestion!
Thanks! Yes they absolutely dominated! And were all lovely chaps too! I think it was the winner that bought be over a bottle of water at the end, really appreciated that
What a way to go Andy. Question: do races like that have age group awards? Would be frustrating to me to get 7th overall in a super competitive race and not walk away with a bonus medal. Usually here in the States, the top 3 are taken out of the AG awards and then age groups for every one else. Just curious how it works there. I love seeing the progression you've made this year. Just getting in tough workouts, dedication to tried and true practices are yielding some nice results for you. I did try the Keotone stuff on a regular long run and really didn't notice anything. I think the science and reports are sort of split on the efficacy of it. I'd try it again but I am not holding my breath on it. I do like caffeine and I've dabbled with beet juice (with mild success). Happy New Year to you and thanks for all the training inspiration for 2024.
Thabsn buddy! Yes we do, usually from V40 upwards… I’m still 37 so I’ve got 3 years to go until I move up into the next category! For now I mix it with the 21>39 year olds! Ketones are interesting - I did a little test in the beginning when I first tried them and I stick by that having used them for a long time now… Running on no fuel - having a ketone is noticeable Running well fueled - don’t notice it Now with the caffeine ones I really do notice the buzz from those so I have one before each workout and race
@TheFODRunner interesting age groups. Most races here have 5 year increments starting at age 5. Right now, I am in the 55 to 59 group. Some races have 10 year increments (50-59). Also, is Rachel D still filming? Let her know if you talk to her that a fan misses her content.
that one guy really makes sure no one crowds him with the wide stiff arms.
congratulations Andy, that was a very strong final race of the year
Happy New Year for you and your family
Thanks Thomas! Happy new year to you too!

Thanks! I think its well worth it!
Great running. I see a few of my Western Tempo team mates there.

Good way to end the year well done mate also what website did you get those bi products from might be helpful for me to
Definitely a good way to end it! Of course - www.bicarrb.com/

Thanks David!
Phroawr, mate! Congrats! 🎉

great video and race! Not sure about the spoiler in the title though 😂
Thanks! It was just a little tease...
Great job Andy on the PB… that’s the Christmas calories and rest for you😂
Thanks buddy! Haha absolutely, a bit of extra weight to give me more extra momentum on the hills
I could not handle that amount of caffeine!
Childs play mate haha, drink more coffee!

@ she commented on this video actually! I hope so, I enjoy her content too
Goodness me Andy, that was a great run!!
That might not be far from your fabled 33:00 if you correct for the elevation, well done!
Thanks! I am hoping it puts me in the range of 33:10/33:20 on the flat... just a bit closer to sub 33 than I was in the summer!
Definitely, looking forward to 2025!
What a run mate! Considering it was a solo run! Caffeine and Bicarb, I’ll have to give it a go. Nervous to mix them though with my stomach 🤣
Cheers mate! Give it a go.... in training first haha!
