The fact that Tubbo just decided he was going to be chaotic so this whole thing technically isn’t cannon since Tubbo was never meant to be there but Wilbur and Tommy and Dream had an agenda for lore so they tried to just pretend it wasn’t happening was great.

That’s the ultimatum Dream gave Tubbo. He also had a time limit and if he hadn’t made a choice, the choice would be stripped from him and Dream would’ve exiled Tommy. If he left it to Dream, he’d be giving Dream the ability to make his choices for him
