Definitely love our Birman Boyz. Two brothers, a chocolate point named Felix and seal point named Oscar.

We're up to Birman no.5! A seal point, blue point, tortie, tabby blue & now a chocolate named TimTam. Adore these cats, all having their own personality. They're the 'Super models' of the catworld 😻

Found one on his last leg, less than a year old. All his siblings didn’t make it plus his jaw was broken. I hurt for them and any others that ran off. We’re inseparable tho. GPS collar, Dewormed, top tier naturally derived flea drops, (he was covered in fleas) never outside without secure crate (never meows in it) home cooked proteins like shrimp snow crab and chicken breast with non grain dry food and his poops are very small but not too small…I even track the PH of his urine. I want this cat forever. I can see why they are so expensive. I’ve opted to keep him intact since he’s male. Not an expert on them, it’s actually my first time seeing this cat and I’ve had many mixed cats that were born and raised outside in a country setting, which I grew up with and raised, but with the help of UA-cam, I get closer and closer. I was told he was a Siamese, so not even vets are very familiar with them. Non demanding, they love to be up against you, but not to be petted constantly. Their energy is very contained and controlled. They would much rather watch you enjoying other things than them all the time until it’s bed time, tho when first bonding or trying to sleep they are kind of clingy but not in a bad way as long as you greet them well and don’t ignore them. He could knock over many things but never does. He chose my lowest quality chair to do his claws on and I’m fine with that, it’s his now. I’ve had him home for a week so far and I can’t imagine life without him. When I come home from work he’s there for me to love on feed and chat with then we spend every hour together but like I said they aren’t over bearing, and I dont work too long, they just want to feel loved. I also live alone in a one bedroom house up off the ground and he loves it.
I know this is long already, but before he came, I was having asthma attacks every time I tried to lay down and sleep…what he does for me is invaluable, he will reach up and touch my cheek if I’m beginning to hyperventilate, I usually sleep through my asthma attacks having nightmares the whole time, he demands that I inhale slowly. He can feel my micro frustrations in trying to live with my untreated asthma (and no I’m not allergic to him or any cats) I’ve had scarring on my lungs since I was 10. I’m also a U.S. veteran, with a lot of respect for those who can do more than me….Oh if you’re still reading my last tidbit is this, I’ve tried to paraphrase as much as possible but he also smells like maple syrup…idk if this is unique to Birmans. But I’ve never smelled a cat that smelled…yummie…lol. I haven’t bathed him yet.
