Every time I watch one of these log flume ride videos, I always wonder if the residual water that’s trickling downward on the lift hill’s conveyor belt ever reaches the bottom.

@@VortexCreations. I rode this flume ride back in the early 1980s with my family. It probably wasn’t that old back then. This was also when the park had Turvey Manor Fun House which was a walk-through fun house attraction that was pretty crazy.

the water/ride seems to move faster these days- I wonder if that's because all the stuff now built around it? Seemed a lot slower in the 80s/90s- took longer to get to each drop.
It definitely seems like it is and it’s much more jerky, but it is still fun. (I miss the trees) Thanks for watching!

And this is why the Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland log flumes will always be superior: They encase their rides completely. This is just a bare viaduct.
Well Disney is different since it’s an overrated park chain that invests plenty of money into the Disney level theming. This park used to highly theme but not so much anymore.
