How about this for a suggestion, "Line up Thursdays", so if you have several whiskys from the same company that are nothing but different finishes do them together on Line up day,.
So people can get the comparisons of each one together so they can figure out which one then need to hunt for.

I know you guys are busy, but don't forget about the shenanigans
You know, you guys should set these up as blind reviews. Have a member of your staff pick the bottles and do the initial pours for you with the bottles covered. After your test, unveil what it is and talk about it. I would be curious as to whether this would change how you feel about some of these whiskeys if you didn't know what you were tasting ahead of time.
The drummer for our band and I have Blind Tastings with friends all the time. We provide 'Nose', 'Palate' & 'Finish' notes on paper and we all have to guess what we're drinking. Winner gets bragging rights - and a dram of his fave.
They've actually tried that before, with the bottle lovingly covered in a tube sock to hide its true identity. Issue comes when they forget to do the magnificent bastard/patron saint/titan ceremonies, as you can't exactly thank someone for a gift when you don't know what it is.
Del Bac has been coming into Oklahoma for a few years now. As far as I know, we've never gotten a special bottling here. I really like their standard mesquite-smoked malt, though I wish it were bottled at a higher abv.

Ok so Rex I have your back @ 12:30 when that Sommie Bashtard ( I don’t cuss) stole your whiskeys that you had so diligently kept in order. I could see the look in your eyes. It looked like you were going to cry for a second. That’s the first thing. Second, he calls himself a sommelier, that chain should be stripped from around his neck and melted down. He should care about names and words, he’s a Somm! And we had a president who didn’t care about words and oh yeah he was from Texas too.

Need a review on these with the ladies a blind taste test
Nerdy question: You know how some whiskies have that tingly effervescent texture, almost like they're carbonated? What causes that and where does it come from? Is it a cuts thing or is it more related the the grain that's used or the fermentation process?
I wonder about this also. I got that on a neck pour of OF 1920, but it was gone after that first pour.
I get this from Rare Breed. I feel like it could be proof, but also I don’t always get it from high proof stuff.

I don't even drink whiskey right now. From time to time but really into craft beers. IPA's are fun but really into barrel aged stouts. Love the channel though!!

Has any distiller ever mentioned how old was the Sherry that was in the barrels that they used?
I would be very excited to find a whiskey that had been in barrels that had held Sherry that was 30 years old
I once read, and this must have been 30 years ago, in a postmodernist manuscript - and only postmodernists use the term manuscript - that 'spelling and pronunciation are such bourgeois and esculatory concepts'. I always thought that amusing.
This was a multiple oralgasm episode, Rex got two and Daniel got one almost felt dirty watching it. Completely understand though.
