Chain tensioning assemblies are notorious for being fragile on some saws. I don't know that to be the case with this saw, but I never 'snug up' the cover with a wrench when adjusting the tension. Finger tight on the cover nuts, raise the tip of the bar as far as it will go, snug up the chain, and THEN put the wrench to the cover nuts. No broken tensioning assembly for ME.
I had previously seen this chain for sale on Amazon, and asked about the fit in the questions section. I got a reply back the next day from the vendor. They told me the chain WAS 69 drive links. Why they haven't changed their ad copy is beyond me.
My opinion is that the chains are good but not as ideal as the EGO chain BECAUSE the Ego chains are full chisel and these are semi-chisel. The tradeoff is that these semi chisel chains will last longer than the full chisel but cut a smidge slower than the full chisel. If you prioritize cutting speed, the EGO chain is better. If you prioritize overall longevity then these Amazon chains are better.

Agreed, sometimes when I'm doing a review I just can't think of the right words in the moment. I kept calling it a blade instead of a bar.
