Trust me, I go through the same thing when I started out. My advice is to just finish it. Even if it doesn't look great you will feel better knowing that it's done

Instead of the foam tube or newspaper, would rolling up 1/2 inch foam work for the arms?
Yes that should work, just make sure to leave an opening for your fingers :)

So in my opinion I think it's better to use foam because it's durable and looks like the joints in the arm. Also I was looking for a good tutorial on making BonBon so I thought 'There's one channel I hadn't thought about' and I was so happy when there was a good tutorial on BonBon 🤗
