Platinum Hercules he’s literally the best. I went to the highschool he went to. Still comes back almost every year to our football camps. Have meet him a bunch and he is super down to earth. Being able to talk about how great he is and how I’ve met him so much is a great brag

Thats not a very big disadvantage anymore.In the early 2000s you had to have those 300+ D Tackles.It was a more power running league.Now teams looking for Sack artists more than LB protectors.Look at 49ers last year. Their whole DLINE was filled with sack artists and below 300 lbs.Fast agile guys that can get after QBs-especially after mobile QBs

Ioane Vaaiiluga I would too. To be totally honest, I would show the team every one of these videos. I play linebacker and this stuff really helps
I learnt this in college in 09. This scheme works so good if you got quickness, awareness and timing. I had all but strength. I was 185 5’11 playing linebacker. My strength was no where near to get through a linemen.
Kid is smart. Future coach. Amazing to think people thought he’d never recover to play in the NFL. Great draft pick by the cowboys.

Jaylen gonna make some $$$$ after he’s played his last down. This brother is sharp and he is also one hellacious LB. Coming from a former LB i love his game, probably the hardest hitting LB in the league. Ask the Saints Fullback ( after he’s out of the concussion protocol). Very explosive tackler and hitter!!
jaylen great with his hands , in pass coverage man to man , and getting off blocks , really explosive off the snap , always plays with 100% effort , he never gives up on a play.

Jaylon is one of the best LB in the game.
Before his injury he was easily a Top 5 or Top 10 pick in the draft. His brother told the Cowboys to give him a shot. I'm glad to see him fall into our hands.
Jaylon smiths drop off was drastic but he did play really well for a few seasons. Looking at that tackle of saquon if the rest of the cowboys D didn't come up to help him on saquon im pretty sure it would have been a touchdown.

Love Jaylon Smith !!! Dude is humble, and a beast on the field. I met him at training camp and got his autograph, good dude ! People say he wasn’t worth his contract due to a down year last year, but people don’t realize that the D line in front of him was letting him down often. Look for a bounce back year with Mike Nolan at DC and the additions of Dontari Poe and Gerald McCoy at DT. Fingers crossed LVE stays healthy as well !!

Intelligent linebacker. I tried explaining that to my dline all the time don't care if you freelance but what ever gap you win stay in that gap. Even if you don't win stay in that gap it allows me to play my gap all the more harder. I might wanna shoot if I feel run or shoot backside B gap and make the play gotta know my other gaps are covered tho, great LB

Finally NFL sees the cowboys defense potential
Even though i know he lost out on the top 5-10 draft pick $$ he was projected to get because of his injury, thank goodness Jaylon fell to Dallas. Now hopefully with a D-Staff that knows what they're doing he, LVE & co can become even better.
The very first play shows a habit that is very risky especially that close to the goal line. That is not a proper block defeat technique inside the A gap. You got to take on that blocker to plug that lane and force the ball carrier to go lateral. If that center was more under control it probably would've been a TD. Those are the small things that contributed to Dallas defense not being that good at stopping the run in 2020 along with a plethora of other things.
