She didn’t deserve this brutal of an execution for killing a guy who wanted to die at the *start* of the game. edit: I’m not saying she did nothing wrong, and I’m fine with the fate she got. I just wanted to point that out because it seemed weird to me.
I feel this is one of the worst executions because imagine going through all that pain and thinking, “Finally I’m out of this!” At this point your really happy and then you realize that it’s fake and you fall to your death. I think it was kaedes, like imagine. You need to get out this killing game and you need to kill the mastermind. You kill someone but they aren’t the mastermind. During the trial your best friend gets blamed Then he blames you You give a sad message There is a theory that her execution piano song was a song she played as a kid And last, her execution lasted 8 hours or longer if you look at the clock, so everyone had to watch her just suffocate. And why is it so long? She kept taking breaths every time she hit a note. You can even see how anxious she is and struggling. But I would put moms execution in 2nd place for most brutal and sad.
Kaede in her execution was choking, dizzy and was forced to play the piano. They pulled her rope so rough it could've hurt her neck Tojo on the other hand was literally fucking climbing on a spike vine. She was getting cut, stabbed in the hands and she even fell so high.
Imagine how painful that would be. Climbing a rope with thorns, getting cut over and over again with saws, and then falling from such a high place, when I first saw this execution I was so shocked. Poor kirumi 😔
I did the math: When she fell it took her 10 secs to hit the ground. Using the distance-acceleration formula, it is estimated that she climbed a 500m vine Which is horrific

When she grabbed the vine with thorns, I clinged my palms so tight. I can't imagine how much her hands hurt after climbing that for who knows how long. And don't get me started of the saws. Holy shit that was disturbing
First one someone got tortured by being hung and getting small gasps of air then being suffocated again, second one someone had to climb up a thorny vine that cut up their hands and then had to go through a multitude of saws just to fall to their death anyways, 3rd one someone gets spun and forced to hold in vomit then boiled alive and killed again in the afterlife, 4th one someone getting stung by hornets then getting impaled by some giant hornet mutant thing and burned at the stake, and the 5th one someone getting sent to outer space going through all of the layers of the earth and then dying before it even ended. Yeah sounds fucking insane.
This execution made me sad… The fact that she kept on climbing despite the horrifying pain she was in probably means that she still had a little bit of hope left… and just for Monokuma to destroy her hope at the end by making the vine break… She wanted to escape so badly and she thought that she could if she reached the top of the vine…

What’s really sad about Kirumi’s execution is her determination to finally escape the hell they are going through just to be cruelly deceived by monokuma. She was so determined to live and she had so much hope and then she was tricked and plummeted into despair. This is all what monokuma wanted. This execution is really dark if you dig deep into the situation.

This execution just makes my stomach turn because of the fact that unlike other executions this was one of the few where the victim has the chance to “escape” and we get to see their treacherous journey of desperation to live, only watch the cruel cold truth reveal that they were played for some sadistiic entertainment of getting to watch them fall to the ground and realise that none of this was worth it, and that they could’ve just let themselves die peacefully instead of slowly suffering with blinded hope.
Fun Fact: This was based on a Japanese Tale, about a criminal who died and was sent to hell. But because he spared a spider, he was given a chance to escape via spider thread. But once he saw other souls trying to leave, he became selfish and wanted freedom all to himself. And the spider thread was cut.

I’ve heard of this before! also someone pointed out that maybe the reason why there’s a cockroach on the ceiling is because cockroaches, much like Kirumi, are resilient and can withstand anything even nuclear explosions. she also probably had one of the best reasons to kill. she literally has a country to run. and the fact she kept fighting till the bitter end. one of if not the most unnecessarily brutal punishments imo. poor woman.

If she didn't bleed to death then it's safe to assume that the Exisals would have finished her off. For the people who say "She could've just not climb it" or "she can just still run" she cannot just keep running because the people were on both sides and the vine was just infront of her and she was so desperate for the exit she imagined that the paper was actually a exit so she climbed it thinking that it was the exit from her hallucination. But also the other people were all around her and she was panicking and didn't know what too do so she just climbed it because she was panicking 😭
For those of you who haven't realized yet, Kirumi's execution is most likely referencing the Buddhist tale "The Spider's Thread". For a brief synopsis; Buddha, walkin around in Paradise, sees a sinner in hell by the name of Kandata, who's only good deed in life was that he chose not to step on a spider. Moved by Kandata's brief compassion, Buddha lends him a spider's thread to climb out of hell. As Kandata climbs the spider's thread he notices other sinners following him up the thread where he selflishly declares the thread belongs to him and him alone, causing the thread to snap and condemning him to hell for eternity. Symbolically, Kirumi's trapped in her own hell with her only good deeds known to her peers being her motherly, kind-hearted nature. However, by killing Ryoma and trying to get away with it to prioritize her own selfish escape to Paradise, she was condemned to hell just like Kandata.

I just realized that when ever you get cut and the wound is open it starts to sting and burn, so while climbing that having thorns pricking her hands, Razors hitting her constantly she dealt with stinging and burning all over her body, and I’m pretty sure that when she saw the “light” it was from either Her blood loss causing her to hallucinate, or her desperation to live caused her to see something that wasn’t real, and last second before she fell you can see cuts on her face, and neck I think, which means the saws didn’t cut that deep which was tormenting her even more

I could be wrong) of someone down in hell being offered a chance to escape suffering by climbing up a single spider thread, but then the other inhabitants of hell saw a chance to escape and tried climbing too, which put too much weight on the web string and then everyone fell and no one was saved? If anyone knows what I'm talking about and can provide a more detailed explanation of this execution's reference/symbolism, I would be most appreciative.

This execution reminds me a lot of Chiaki's excecution in Danganronpa 3 (the anime) They both try to keep going and running for the people they try to protect, even if they get stabbed and hurt, they will go on till the bitter end. They both see the finish (or so they think) and then the second they realise it's fake, they get killed.
This execution is more brutal the more you think about it. For starters the amount of strength Kirumi had to reach the top was already very impressive. Her arms must had been so sore. Not to mention she was endlessly being cut by saws but she still managed to keep climbing despite the soreness in her arms and the cuts on her face, body, legs, arms, etc. And the vine had thorns on it too! And if Kirumi even did make it to the top, should probably would have died anyways of the amount of blood she must had lost. Not only did they just Physically torture her but they mentally did too. The thoughts she must have had when she was climbing up, and the end where she had so much hope and, gone with the snap of a finger. There’s so much in this execution and it makes me so sad to even think about it. I feel so bad for Kirumi :(
@@claragemheart581Wellll..not to be that guy..but, to be fair, Kaede did have a metal collar attached to a rope jerking her around side to side on piano keys. It’s not like normal hanging where you just die after like a minute of sitting there..she was given a second to breathe which only endured her pain longer. And she had like a millisecond to breathe so it doesn’t make it any better. Then when the song sped up, not only did she have less time to breathe, she was also getting rocks thrown at her which if you go frame by frame at her body during when the rocks are thrown, it leaves cuts and scars. Her circulation was cut off most of the time but the slight times she had to breathe only endured her pain both physically and mentally. If anything all the executions in V3 are both physically and mentally painful.
During her execution, I don’t even know how she trusted that strand.

What’s really sad about Kirumi’s execution is her determination to finally escape the hell they are going through just to be cruelly deceived by monokuma. She was so determined to live and she had so much hope and then she was tricked and plummeted into despair. This is all what monokuma wanted. This execution is really dark if you dig deep into the situation.

This execution just makes my stomach turn because of the fact that unlike other executions this was one of the few where the victim has the chance to “escape” and we get to see their treacherous journey of desperation to live, only watch the cruel cold truth reveal that they were played for some sadistiic entertainment of getting to watch them fall to the ground and realise that none of this was worth it, and that they could’ve just let themselves die peacefully instead of slowly suffering with blinded hope.

I’ve heard of this before! also someone pointed out that maybe the reason why there’s a cockroach on the ceiling is because cockroaches, much like Kirumi, are resilient and can withstand anything even nuclear explosions. Just as we see with Kirumi managing to somehow climb that cursed & horrible spiked vine rope along with getting cut & slashed repeatedly by giant saws.

Like they say, murder is murder no matter the motive. But forced murder is worser since the person probably wouldn’t even want to commit the crime unless something more horrible than being put in prison would happen to them. And it’s even worse since Ryoma didn’t even fight back from Kirumi attempting to kill him, he just let her take his life.

For those of you who haven't realized yet, Kirumi's execution is most likely referencing the Buddhist tale "The Spider's Thread".
For a brief synopsis; Buddha, walkin around in Paradise, sees a sinner in hell by the name of Kandata, who's only good deed in life was that he chose not to step on a spider. Moved by Kandata's brief compassion, Buddha lends him a spider's thread to climb out of hell. As Kandata climbs the spider's thread he notices other sinners following him up the thread where he selflishly declares the thread belongs to him and him alone, causing the thread to snap and condemning him to hell for eternity.
Symbolically, Kirumi's trapped in her own hell with her only good deeds known to her peers being her motherly, kind-hearted nature. However, by killing Ryoma and trying to get away with it to prioritize her own selfish escape to Paradise, she was condemned to hell just like Kandata.

I just realized that when ever you get cut and the wound is open it starts to sting and burn, so while climbing that having thorns pricking her hands, Razors hitting her constantly she dealt with stinging and burning all over her body, and I’m pretty sure that when she saw the “light” it was from either Her blood loss causing her to hallucinate, or her desperation to live caused her to see something that wasn’t real, and last second before she fell you can see cuts on her face, and neck I think, which means the saws didn’t cut that deep which was tormenting her even more
She wouldve been an amazing antagonist due to her hope to survive
And she fell on something made of metal
and broke her bones
and it was her head that landed first :)

the only difference is that the reason the person climbing the thread fell was because they immediately boasted about their fortune and taunted the spectators below, refusing to share the gateway to salvation with anyone (which kirumi did not do in the execution, but it was heavily referred to in her character interactions ; here's a snippet from the wiki =
= Kirumi shares similarities with Kandata; she tried to escape from the "Hell" alone and at the expense of everyone else by committing murder for the sake of escaping, similar to Kandata who selfishly tries to escape from the Abyss alone. Before she was dragged into her execution, she referred to the academy as a "hellhole".

This execution reminds me a lot of Chiaki's excecution in Danganronpa 3 (the anime)
They both try to keep going and running for the people they try to protect, even if they get stabbed and hurt, they will go on till the bitter end.
They both see the finish (or so they think) and then the second they realise it's fake, they get killed.

This execution is more brutal the more you think about it. For starters the amount of strength Kirumi had to reach the top was already very impressive. Her arms must had been so sore. Not to mention she was endlessly being cut by saws but she still managed to keep climbing despite the soreness in her arms and the cuts on her face, body, legs, arms, etc. And the vine had thorns on it too! And if Kirumi even did make it to the top, should probably would have died anyways of the amount of blood she must had lost. Not only did they just Physically torture her but they mentally did too. The thoughts she must have had when she was climbing up, and the end where she had so much hope and, gone with the snap of a finger. There’s so much in this execution and it makes me so sad to even think about it. I feel so bad for Kirumi :(
If that wasn’t brutal enough, i don’t know what is. And even though Kaede’s was also brutal, NOTHING can compare this execution with Kaede’s
@@claragemheart581Wellll..not to be that guy..but, to be fair, Kaede did have a metal collar attached to a rope jerking her around side to side on piano keys. It’s not like normal hanging where you just die after like a minute of sitting there..she was given a second to breathe which only endured her pain longer. And she had like a millisecond to breathe so it doesn’t make it any better. Then when the song sped up, not only did she have less time to breathe, she was also getting rocks thrown at her which if you go frame by frame at her body during when the rocks are thrown, it leaves cuts and scars. Her circulation was cut off most of the time but the slight times she had to breathe only endured her pain both physically and mentally. If anything all the executions in V3 are both physically and mentally painful.
