You have the best practical tips! I already have the large silicone ice cube molds, such a great idea. And I’m going to start my own plant matter tea too- thanks again for another great video 😊

Very informative on the tea. I'm growing comfrey for its ability to pull nutrients from deep in my rocky clay soil and using your tea instructions, going to give my garden a boost with comfrey leaf tea.
I transplanted stinging nettle witgout gloves. Hands tingled a bit, and honestly I believe it relieved some of the achiness which I'm thinking is arthritis in the knuckles. Or.....the sting is just a stronger sensation and overrides the achiness. Some day when I want to torture myself im going to apply more of the sting to my hands and see if it is true that it helps with arthritis symptoms, or if the cure is worse than the problem.🤷‍♀️

Haha same! I may be doing a video in the future comparing different nettle sting remedies. I will sacrifice my arms for science! 😂

Have you tried epsom salt when your leaves are yellow in addition to nitrogen? It maybe a magnesium issue.

I’ve never tried epsom salts in the garden though I’ve heard good things. Clay soils are typically high in magnesium so I’m hoping that’s not it, but if this doesn’t work I may give it a go! I’ve been too lazy to send in a soil sample for testing. 😅. Thanks for the suggestion.

I just harvested what I am pretty sure is stinging nettle from my neighbor's yard with their permission. I am having a very hard time though positively identifying them. I am concerned about the look alike white snake root. I am getting a lot of mixed messages on the internet. What I harvested looks like your nettle that had seeded 46 seconds into your video with the dark green leaves. Supposedly the white snake root has a darker green leaf and light green stalk that grows in lawns. The plant I harvested does have a square stalk, however, there are not a lot of hairs on them, and I am not getting a very noticeable sting from them. Which makes me think white snake root, however I know there are native nettles and European species here in the US with varying characteristics. I learned that immature stinging nettle plants may have a very subtle sting which these might. I recall from last year I had spotted the same plant around the same tree stump with the drooping seed pods hanging from it. Nevertheless, I put them in a Ziplock and into the freezer, and I guess I will wait for the flowers to blossom so that I can be sure.

My experience is the stinging nettle has a very noticeable sting even when young. If it doesn’t have an undeniable sting, I would strongly question if it is stinging nettle at all. I would definitely recommend getting a second opinion for your safety, though I do hope for you that your neighbor’s patch is indeed what you are looking for 🙂.

First time grow nettle. Made stir fry. Was surprise that it kinda of rubbery, not very appealing.

Sorry that was your experience, I personally find the flavor quite savory, but it’s not for everyone. Thanks for watching!
