Hello, i've seen Mullein around here never tried it i'll have to check into it more, I'm looking for plants to help prevent old folks home syndrome, i'm in my seventies and wanna stay living in the bush 😊💕👍🌱🌱
You can use just mullein and thyme! Substitutions for violet could be: mint, marshmallow leaf or root and white horehound. Mountain Rose Herbs is a great place to buy ethically sourced organic herbs.
@hippiechickoffgridmaine8625 lol! Horehound is actually the primary ingredient in my last cough syrup. This time I replaced it with violet leaf, for two reasons, 1. My horehound barely survived the winter and I’m nursing it back to life right now, and 2. I found it is a very strong, bitter herb when decocted. That said, it is also very effective, even standalone. We love horehound 💚
@@theacadiangarden I've struggled to grow it here and just plain gave up a few years ago. The Amish up north here grow it and make the best hard candy with it! Love the horehound flavor!

Welcome!
Nice video ❤
Where you get/buy the violet herb? Will it work if not use voilet? Only use mullein and thyme.

What's your thought on homebound?
I’m unfamiliar, what is homebound?
@@theacadiangarden typo! Was supposed to be horehound but spell check doesn't like that word 😂
