There’s several bottles in CO and I want to buy one, but I’m frustrated by the lack of disclosed state of distillery and no age statement. All the bottles say produced and bottled by 13th. I’ve seen some of their flagship bourbon say distilled in Indiana. I like MGP as much as anybody else, but spending $90 on a non disclosed source is a good way to buyers remorse in bourbon. That said, appreciate all your vids! Good stuff!
Picked this up in Missouri today just tried yeah I agree I’d prob just buy the normal releases happy I tried tho… paid 95.99 more of 60-70 tasting bottle we’ll see how it opens up.
I was fortunate to be selected in Seelbach’s lottery to purchase at $99.99. Haven’t received it yet, but ready to crack it. I haven’t had a bad 13th Colony yet. 🥃🥃
Love seeing you talk about price / value! Great review!
Glad you like it bud!
Seelbach's had a lottery last week for the opportunity to purchase this at (what they said was) SRP ($99.99). I did not get picked. To console myself, I bought bottles of their Southern Bourbon ($44.99) and Southern Rye ($44.99). Thanks for making me feel so much better. Been watching you guys for a while and was shocked to see that I had never subscribed. I just did. Keep the great content coming.
Man, I've been waiting for my blackberry whiskey from seelbachs for a god damn month now. I'm done with them. Their shipping is atrocious.
Thanks Brad!!!
Agree about 13thCO corks! I was able to pick up one of these (I live in GA). And for me, it was just ok given the proof and price point. It's not better than any of the Old Foresters, Elijah Craigs or Stagg (obviously). I'd put it up against KC9yr. I agree with Dave. Get the standard stuff.
Completely agree with y’all’s review. I felt the same way, not a bad pour but may be not worth $80s. Think ECBP has better bang for the buck at $80 price point. I know the store picks of the cask strength I’ve seen are only 4.5years age stated, any idea of age on the standard cask strength? That’s probably what’s hurting it if it’s young.
Picked up a bottle in CT yesterday and paid $95. Thought it was decent but can definitely get better bourbon for the price. I was surprised by the pallet given the nose. Agree about the finish fading quickly
I liked 13th Colony before all the UA-camrs started praising it about 2 years ago
But the CS , imo, is overpriced. They are riding their small production and availability popularity and charging a serious premium.
They make nice whiskey but not a must have bottles for me just like having them.
I think the 13th Colony Cask Strength does have a finish. It's just mostly in the mouth instead of the throat and chest. You are used to having those big Kentucky hugs, but this Georgia whiskey doesn't have many Kentucky hugs.
Nice review. I always think Turkey when I drink 13th Col
Good stuff
Just picked one up last week here in CO. Was hard to find though. Don’t believe Bubbles or Total Wine carry it.
Ok I have this bottle, where can I sell or trade it??? Between the throw up and overall rough review I’m regretting this bottle.
That's the Green River mashbill isn't it? Same as the GR new Full Proof.
N.E. Ky it is $140.99+tax
I thought it was good. But lighter and no where near as heavy as their other stuff. (DO, 15th even there other Store picks). This one really tastes like a suped up version of there standard (which I guess it is 😀)
It's absolutely just that. The Cask Strength version of their normal bourbon.
First time in my life I’ve ever heard someone blame raspberry cobbler for their food poisoning 😂
It was a wild and crazy night my friend.
@@bourbonkingdom hair of the cobbler dog my brother.
@@user-jp8mx1sp5v lol
I was not impressed. Their Double Oaked and 15th Anny were much much better
Saw it last week in ga for $300😅
wow......
Give us the bad news it’s not available in OH and then ask me to hit the like and subscribe 😂
So I did…
Lol
Westport whiskey and wine wanted 150 for it 🙄 classic Patel moment
ouch
Review shit nobody can get, and horribly over priced
Man you need to chill. Dave and Zach just told you to pass on something that should be hard to get. Thank you guys for the great content as always and appreciate honestly about the review. 🍻
Well at least we agree that it isn't worth hunting for lol. Cheers and thanks for the love and support.
