Who remembers this crash at Rally Monte Carlo in 2020?
Who can forget?
@@shanhard It was such a big one! Unbelievable that they walked away and then managed to finish second at Rally Sweden just over two weeks later 🤯
That was one of the most spectacular crashes ever on the WRC history, and both walked it out, we have to thank WRC's car safety to let us enjoy his driving some more.
It was a big one! Can you believe he came back just over two weeks later and finished second at Rally Sweden? 🤯
@@HMSGOfficial toughest guys on the sport, made different!
I wouldn't go so far to say the most spectacular
@@jimsagubigula7337 I mean, off the road, doing highway speeds, flying through a tree, and landing a several meter fall...
Ott's words were exactly that, but then again, he is the king of understatement 😂
He is an absolut beast of a driver. Pokerface, but so friendly and funny at interviews. Hope i can shake his hands one time and say thanks for the entertainment.
He is definitely one of the coolest customers around! Will you be at any rallies this year? 🤔
@@HMSGOfficial well, see you in Portugal
@@HMSGOfficial i think CENTRAL EUROPEAN RALLY in Oct will be on my list to get to cover from flying Tanaks. :D
See you there 👋
Great choice! Its an awesome event, we hope to see you there 👋
I want Tanak to win another championship!!!
That moment was heart stopping, glad that everyone was ok.
It was huge! Incredible that everyone was okay 😊
I remember seeing it live, it was horifying
That certainly will be horrifying 😮
It was so scary, thank goodness they were both okay 💪
Nope i wasn't really a rally fan then, but glad they walked it out safe he's my favorite driver now
That's cool, what made him your favourite driver? 🤔
@@HMSGOfficial he's aggressive style of tackling stages
He certainly only knows one way to attack a stage...FLAT OUT! 💪
This was new stage in Monte. Recce speed 70kmh didnt show that this was bumpy section. Rally speed was 170kmh there and bumpy character appeared. After that other guys slowed down there. Lappi who started before Tänak also mentioned massive turbulence in this section. Also recce speed didnt show nothing for him. Evans said you never know actually how new stage behaves before you pass this at full speed. Combination that you are the first really fast top5 car and have new stage is dangerous. And next year everyone have already correct notes how this new stage actually behaves
You are spot on, bumps can seem nothing when at slower speeds, and as Ott said, when going flat out, they just disturb the car enough to knock you off line...and then 💥 Have you driven a rally car before? Your knowledge is impressive 💪 🙌
I remember watching it live, and I was really upset because there was nothing to do but hope that both guys are ok and can walk away from it. Thank you, FIA, for the safety regulations, and thank you, Hyundai, for building your car so safe.
It was a scary one! Thank goodness they were okay 💪
Glad he was able to get back to racing so soon afterwards. That's gotta be tough mentally...
Exactly this! It is one thing to recover physically, but to be able to just switch back into flat out mode two weeks later, and finish second, shows what these guys are made of 💪 🤯
the 2017-2021 three door i20 was a beautiful rally car.
Before the crash...yes 😍 After the crash...not so much 😂
So glad you were ok Ott! We love ya buddy! You’re an amazing driver, and we are so happy you were able to overcome that, and are still driving today putting on amazing performances. We are cheering you on in Minnesota!
Thanks so much for your support 💪 Is Ott your favourite of our drivers? 🤔
@@HMSGOfficial That’s a hard one. I like Ott, Thierry, and EP! The whole team is awesome!!! There is so much talent on this team, but yes, I have been a fan of Ott from the moment I discovered the WRC several years back. He is a very impressive driver. I can see his passion and how hard he works come through in his performances at the rally. That man was definitely born for this.
If anyone was born to be a rally driver, its Ott! You are so right, no one works harder too, plus we love the fact you like all of our drivers...although we won't tell Dani that you didn't mention him 😉 😂
@@HMSGOfficialWhoops! Sorry Dani! Did not mean to leave you out. It was late here when I was responding. Definitely a big fan of Dani’s too!!!! 😊
It's okay, we forgive you 😂 Thank you for your support, will you be coming to any rallies this year? 🤔
This drivers are so brave 💪
They really are 💪 It is the way they got back in the car just over two weeks later and finished second at Rally Sweden...could you imagine doing that? 🤔
Good luck 😢
I hate those bumps, even in game it ruins your race.
Very true, although it hurts a bit more in real life 😉 Which is your favourite rally game? 🤔
@@HMSGOfficial Definitely, im a fan of WRC official game and playing WRC 9 at the moment, losing most of rounds but fun to play😀
We love that game, although we need some tips from our drivers to get better! What is your favourite rally to race on the game? 🤔
@@HMSGOfficial Sweden and Mexico my favorites, maybe Portugal, they can tolerate some mistakes but other ones like Monaco, Argentina and Finland do not🙂
Good choices 🙌 We are all about playing the more forgiving rallies 😂 🕹️
Remember for big crash
It was a big one! We love how Ott's reaction is just so typically Ott..."It hurt" 😂
