I love this channel
👍👍👍
They just get better every time.
Outstanding diorama. I don't have the talent for it but one day Ill have to try. Of course We have a teacher like Andy that takes the time to show us.
I think Andy's enthusiasm is great, particularly his wide variety of interests and how much he enjoys his projects.
Modelling is different for me. I have a compulsion to do it and I find it rewarding but I don't actually enjoy it. Its weird. My other hobby is video games and I enjoy that but get no satisfaction or sense of accomplishment from it.
I wish I was more like Andy and guys like him.
I played a lot on XBOX. I put the console back in the box. Never looked back at gaming. Like you said you get no sense of accomplishing anything when playing games, when modelling you can look at your models for years to come :)
The rocks are really amazing. Great technique with the highlighting. The details truly pop out.
really good job here. you are showing everyone that hobby building is only limited by ones imagination .and thanks to you we have expanded even that boundary
Well...it definitely made me want to start making dioramas. Was never interested in this stuff as a kid. Not this detailed. Now I'm in my 30s, and loving doing things like this, sewing, making terrarium, all this shit.
Loved this example.
Nice build, you break it down nicely and make it clear and concise. Those Model Scene trees are a bit basic but a LOT easier and quicker than scratch-built and will get more people building dioramas (always a good thing). Would like to see the foreground a little more visible. Keep up the great work!
I built something very close to what you have built. I do everything from military models to cars and motor cycles. It works great for just taking some fun pics. Who knows someday I might have to do a video. From one Andy to another Happy modeling.
kudos to you men!
amazing stuff. when he show'd us to highlight part on the rocks. blew me away, how realistic it is.
i just want to start with making diorama's for a long time, i think it is time now!!
Your and QDC's videos are very therapeutic
Hey Andy, i love your Videos an your style for building modells. I can not wait to see another one. Hopefully, one day i can made a good modell as well.
Just saw this in person while in Arizona. It was beauty
would love to see you do perhaps a Sherman on a Beach/shoreline, really enjoy you videos, I look every day for a new one,
Great job on the diarama, Andy. It'll be good for displaying the latest 1/35 armour kit releases as you have said.
Love the diorama videos lately. Thank you
I always enjoy this channel and often recommend it to people I am teaching how to model. Andy does a great job to showing different techniques. It has always been my viewpoint that the only person that has to be happy with the model is the builder. Keep up the great job Andy!
Huh ??
very nice diorama,
Looking Great Andy !!, Uv been a big inspiration for me on Ur diearames, I'm hoping in the near future I can build one.
Daunting, but I will try it some day... Still trying to build my 3rd model... Thanks Andy!!
I love watching you build dioramas. I think they're your best videos. But I would like to see more of the process rather than doing it off camera. Could you do a pit garage scene diorama for the Ferrari F1 car you recently built?
Великолепная диорама. Очень реалистична, особенно деревья!!!
LOOKS GREAT! LOVE THE DIORAMA BUILDS! THANX ANDY
The diorama making is my favourite part to do and to watch
Hi it looks fantastic,I love to see a ship or a submarine diorama done
Moin moin form Germany. You did a fantastic Job Andy. It is always a pleasure to watch your Videos.
Thanks for doing this. Always wanted to do one. But really didn`t know how to start.
Very nice Andy, thanks for the video
Andy, can You show us how do You prepare bases for Your dioramas? Thanks in advance! BTW: I admire Your willingness to share with us Your workshop!
I love watching these videos!!!!!!
Hey Andy. Nice job! I do wish you would show the back side of the diorama. How do you construct and finish the back? Balsa wood, plastic strip or what?? Thanks.
Amazing diorama! Love it!
Andy, hi, good morning from the Netherlands! Looks really good and I enjoy your channel. Fun and entertaining to watch. Question: have you have done a building video on the Russian KV-2 tank? Beast of a tank, despite all the disadvantages, but it made the life of Germany tankers quite difficult. Hope you can do this. Cheers!!
Awesome toturial.
Thanks for sharing.
Would be nice to see how you display these dioramas with different tanks in your store some time.
Very nice! Could you do a snowy french countryside diorama at some point?
Hello Andy! Did you think about adding some more tracks to your building playlist? I am sure there is more awsome classical music. It is starting to be repetetive. Anyway thank you for this video!
Dammit looks like I'm not sleeping for 17 more minutes
HockeyTanker lol
Hahaha same dude. It’s 4:15 in the morning and my ipad is at 11% but I HAVE to watch this.
Amazing
Wow, what a great build
amazing!!! Finally. i have been looking for a channel like this.. lots of show and tell 👍👍
4:26 i prefer dry lol, as always great work!
Looks really nice... thank you for showing us all these tips and techniques! Quick question.. when you started painting the first coat of grey on the rock face.. is there a reason why you didn't spray it on with an airbrush rather than paint it with a brush?
That looks very nice!
Andy, you are awesome buddy. Please the videos coming. Cheers buddy.
I LOVE YOUR WORK.
This diorama is ir a high leve.
I tried to make an identical one for my Tiger I.
Congratulations!!!!
Wow, that was awesome. Thanks Andy. As a new subscriber am really loving your videos. Take care as always
Just picked up a Tamiya Jagdtiger of off eBay, excited to build it.
Best one yet!!!!
You are having a bit of a dip on top, there where you have that exposed rock... Maybe an idea to place a tiny stream of water in there that runs down the cliff wall down on to the road
please can you tell me what is this white material you use to do heights? pls tell me, i love your videos ;), and how do you makes rocks? like the shape of the height
Great video as ever. However, the trees in the foreground hide the panther to some degree especially in the video. While realistic I wonder if lower bushes in foreground would be better. The overall diorama is awesome and true to life though.
congratulations! great tutorial and tips...
Looks great!! Btw I love how calm you remain when the “arm chair” critics pipe up. ;-) Nice attitude. :)
very nice diorama
Great video Andy. Always loved dioramas. Anyways, I got a question. Are there any cheap airbrush + compressor sets (for beginners) in the market?
Looks Great Andy!!
Man that looks mint eh, you da man man!
Hey Andy. Love the diorama videos! What color of light brown did you use prior to putting the grout? Also, is that Nato brown you used for the main base coat of soil?
amazing!
Please could someone tell me the brown colours that were used for the dirt. Keep up the good work Andy
you know what would be more cooler Andy if you could add some figures in it
Exellent
First Class, Andy!
Hi Andy! Nice diorama! What brown did you use when airbrushing?
Nice build
As always verry nice helpfull video's of making models en dio's!!,Andy one question, are you using the tamiya paint retarder in your paints??if yes,in what ratio?
Is a water diorama with ships harder or easier to make than a diorama with tanks?
I wish i had some of that purpule ich Pink stuff and all The other stuff......
I like these trees. Which brand are they from?
Does that "sculpture mould/plaster ad a lot of weight to your diorama? I never worked with it myself before, just curious..
Hi Andy! Quick question, what clear coat lacquer do you use? Will any standard spray can do the job? Thanks!
Any pros/cons to note about using water based house paint for the initial coat on your Styrofoam rocks?
Heads-up for the future I would prevent View blocking in the Diarama. The vehicle should be more or less clearly visible from at least two sides that are not parallel. Otherwise it fails the purpose to show of the vehicle.
Looks awesome...
Wait what, was this a year ago? Time flies away so fast
In one of your videos, you mentioned a " scale ruler ". Do you have them in your store? If so please let me know.
Where Can I buy trees? They are stunning Andy!!!
Matteo Cadamuro I would like to know as well!
I suggest woodland scenics to get trees
Andy has a video on how to make trees. It is excellent
Andy, I would like to make a suggestion for a diorama ideas. How about multiple vehicles from different countries. Sherman tank and/vs Panther tank for example. Keep up the great work!
CJ Kirkland thanks very much
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!
could you please make a video that you paint a german tank with vallejo paint.
Just curious.... why not air brush the base German Gray??
Could you maybe try to do some figure painting?
Great job! ;)
what is that white mixture that you put over pink foam ?
Can you make a destroyed/damaged tank for diorama?
I have a question: Is the subtitles correct?
nice work.can i have some of your works,?
What is the white plaster you put over the Styrofoam rocks Andy? I think I heard Sculpture mold. Is it waterproof and does it stick to the Styrofoam OK and last, where can I get some or can you suggest and alternative material.
Good work. I think maybe the edge is too sharp at the dirt and the trees are too uniform and same size as each other.
PERFECTO!!+++
so modge podge is pretty much pva glue?
How did you do the rock molds?
awesome
I made a diorama but its just a piece of wood thats painted dark brown and with a kv2 on top
Wet water as opposed to dry water?
Where does he get the sculpting stuff? Someone pls tell me
hi, where do I find the rock molds??
what is this white stuff you put on?
'You can dip your hands in some wet water to sorta smooth it out a bit...' what, as as opposed to dry water? XD
What is the mold he is using ? Never done anything similar before, can anyone link me companies that sell things like that? Googling didn't help so I did something wrong
