I wondered what they did with the text alignment function. They keep screwing around with the GUI, bit at least I now know where they hid it. BTW: What's "Behind the Green Door"? LOL
I wondered about the alignment tool as well. It took me almost a month until I noticed it. By then I got used to using the purple reference lines. By the way, if you create a grid of lines such as 4 x 4 or even 10 x 10, then those grid lines can be used for aligning objects.
Certainly, you just won't see any of the text as it stands right now. And why? Because the characters are part of a flat 2-D video or 2-D image. The characters are not images all by themselves with the Martian landscape in the background. However, lets say that you did have images of the characters by themselves with a transparent background. Then you could bring a Martian landscape in as a new background to the title, add the two characters as 2 new images to the title, and then remembering the concept of track priority, make sure the characters will appear on top of the text. Easy as 3.14159. Oh rats, your question and my answer just gave away the subject matter for the next and last video in this series about title editing. I was hoping to save the best for last. But no, you had to go and give away all my secrets for this Mission Critical video. :-)
👍👍👍 Thanks.
Thank you too!
Nice video Brian.
Thanks 👍

Interesting. Just wondering can you put the text behind the characters? Asking for a friend.
