You're right, there are some great dishes you can make with Simple Farming, and even wine and cheese from [Let's Do] Meadow. I totally understand where you're coming from! The reason I didn’t include Farmer’s Delight is because it’s already so well-known, and I wanted to highlight some of the less popular but still fantastic mods. Hope that makes sense!
I love Pam's Harvestcraft since it adds the cooking elements and so many different foods. It makes exploration so much more rewarding and I love traveling the world to find those rarer seeds or fruit to bring home and grow.
Aah yeah, I know about the serene seasons mod. That mod might actually be better depending on what you're looking for. Thanks for the suggestion though!
Better Harvesting is a must have. It puts TreeCapitator, Vein Mine, Fast Leaf Decay, and Right Click Harvest in a single mod and is available for both Forge and Fabric
Have not had a chance to properly play with it yet, but Farmers Delight is one of the more popular farming mods out there. The main two I know are Pam's Harvestcraft and Apple Milk Tea. I know Pam's was updating, tho I'm not sure if it's still up to date.... But I haven't seen Apple Milk Tea since around 1.8 or so iirc. And back around 1.5 or so I played on a small economy server that was specifically designed to be Harvest Moon. (Back, way back, before the split and rename to Story of Seasons) They had a custom pack and texture pack and the seeds were specific crops from the harvest moon games. But I don't think those mods ever got released. (I have vague memories of a 'harvest valley' modpack, back when technic and feed the beast were the main launchers I think. It had the same type of crops but also stardew valley stuff, fairies and seasons.)
@@NexusBliss I accidentally added blooming nature after misclicking on modrinth. It’s quite fun hunting down bears and feral wolves (not Minecraft good boy). Should you find spare time try it out yourself it’s quite fun with the farming and animal herding :)
If you want more cooking options you should also add mods like Farmer's delight or Caupona!! While FD is well-known, Caupona hasn't been receiving much appreciation lately, even though it has amazing cooking mechanics and looks so much like vanilla minecraft!! Try those out if you like cooking
I don’t plan on making a modpack for every video, but I’ve linked all the mods I used in the description of each video. Feel free to download them if you'd like!
What mod is the scythe in 3:37 from? also the hats you're wearing, i recognize them and i've been looking for this mod for soo long now! please send help
cuteness aggression is why you want to squeeze that cute mob to death, great video by the way (im obsessed with farming mods, i even already had a similar mod to the farmable dyes called flower seeds)
One thing it lacks, an objective. Will there be like customers or something where we can sell the goods? That'll make the grind a little more worthwhile to me. If i knew how to make mods I'll definitely make one. Maybe completing a task give a rewards like level, resources, companions and etc
Hmmm you're right, I guess it is Minecraft after all so the objective is yours to decide. Whether it be to cook, animal materials or just role play. That's Minecraft!
I think you should have highlighted way more of the [Let’s Do] food mods! They have Vinery, Candlelight, brewery, bakery, and more! Plus they recently released [Let’s Do] Farm&Charm, a comprehensive mod that’s used as a foundation for new versions of their other mods so they’re more self-compatible!
You're right, [Let's Do] mods are really good. I actually plan on making a dedicated video for either [Let's Do] brewery or [Let's Do] Farm&Charm just like the video I did on [Let's Do] Bakery. Thanks for the advice though!
Imagine if you could give the elephant some apples and it makes an applie pie out of it. Perfect chance to make Tree Trunks reference from adventure time.
I am not very good with the knowledge of Minecraft. I was wondering how I add these to Java pc Minecraft? Without the marketplace available like it is on pocket edition. And do they cost money?
diamond and netherite hoes were already worthwhile because they mine faster, have higher durability, etc. literally everything people said about them being useless was resolved back in 1.16. they mine hey bales, sponges, dried kelk, nether wart blocks, shroomlights, everything skulk related, and moss.
You're absolutely right, but don't you think the new farming features would be pretty cool to add? Instead of harvesting big crop fields with water, we got the option to harvest it the good old way but with a faster option!
What about lets do winery which includes custom wine bottles, shelves, and you actually get to make the wine by putting them into a wine barrel and jumping up and down to extract the juice from them!
There’s no way you didn’t put Farmer’s Delight on this list. What’s the point of farming crops without being able to cook with them?

STARDEW VALLEY MENTIONED 🗣🗣🗣🗣‼‼‼‼
😅
turns out that the video i clicked is very funny and good quality :D good job
Thank you so much!
A super underrated farming mod is bountiful fares, it adds so many cool things, is super clean and it doesn't clash with farmers delight
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! I totally agree, Bountiful Fares deserves way more love in the modding community.
Nice choice of background musics!
Glad you like them!
I love Pam's Harvestcraft since it adds the cooking elements and so many different foods. It makes exploration so much more rewarding and I love traveling the world to find those rarer seeds or fruit to bring home and grow.
Honestly, Pam's harvestcraft is super fun. I've played it before. Couldn't agree more with you
The way you said “banana” is freaking adorable
It's a legendary fruit after all haha
thank you for including less known mods
love your commentary bro i subscribed 🤣🤣
Thank you so much man !
Dude your videos are so amazing!! I always find myself downloading a new mod for my world every upload 🥰
That's great to hear! Thank you so much haha you just made my day
You can get a season mechanic like that from Photosynthesis for Forge with the mod Serene Seasons. Also add's seasons that somewhat effect crops.
Aah yeah, I know about the serene seasons mod. That mod might actually be better depending on what you're looking for. Thanks for the suggestion though!
Omg thank you so much, i was trying to make an Stardew Valley-like modpack for me and my homies, and your videos helped so much in choosing the mods!!
Glad you like it!
This srsly deserves a sub. I've been looking for other options other than Farmer's Delight, it's great but it isn't enough for me 😢
Farmer's Delight rn: ☹️
Best Minecraft vid i seen in a while.
Great video 🏆
Thanks man, appreciate it!
Better Harvesting is a must have. It puts TreeCapitator, Vein Mine, Fast Leaf Decay, and Right Click Harvest in a single mod and is available for both Forge and Fabric
Wow I just looked up that mod and you're right. It is a must have haha. Thanks for the suggestion!
that helped me so much on creating my cozy modpack, thank you!
So glad I could help!

Talking about farming mods without mentioning Farmer's delight on it its a crime for me
It’s like talking about small creators without mentioning the biggest ones being a crime
How do you use, Fabric and Forge together??
I don't haha
cuteness aggression is why you want to squeeze that cute mob to death, great video by the way (im obsessed with farming mods, i even already had a similar mod to the farmable dyes called flower seeds)
Haha guess the elephant was too cute for me then!
I feel personally attacked by the lack of Farmer's Delight.
I thought of introducing something else haha. Farmer's delight is known by everyone already, it doesn't need introducing in my opinion
SIMPLE FARMING MENTIONED YAYYYYY
I really like the idea of farming but you could also add a tractor mod like mr crayfish or automobility
That sounds like a great idea!
@@NexusBliss thanks!
Amazing video
Thanks!
The fact that you want to squeez the elephant to death is actually just cute aggresion where you want to squeeze or bite things really hard
Haha that should be the case then
#1 underrated creator
Thank you so much haha

Let's Do: Bakery may not be entirely farming but it does add a fun new process for cakes. Also strawberries

Pam’s harvest craft is the best gardening mods
I am not very good with the knowledge of Minecraft. I was wondering how I add these to Java pc Minecraft? Without the marketplace available like it is on pocket edition. And do they cost money?

Yes
