Very nice but where your bathroom/ toilet 🚽 and if it rains how you going to cook outside and when your asleep where's your curtains to stop people looking in your van when your sleeping.
Hey Richard, cracking camper really good job and thanks for sharing the build! This is exactly the same layout I want to convert my 2013 Maxi with too, as I do a lot of biking I'd take my bike away with me some weekends and my wife others. You said you built the units yourself.. but is there anywhere I could buy the units? Love to make myself but yours look great. Cheers, Martyn
No it's not. What happens when you want a brew and it's pissing down and you're on a layby off the A34? An outdoor kitchen may be fine for Arizona but it's a stupid idea for the UK.
@@Collinz1990 I'd not have a 'kitchen area' but rather a flat work surface. Use a jerry can with a tap for water, a pop up washing up bowl as a sink and a portable gas stove.
hi there, have you come up with any solutions for cooking when its raining outside? i have a caddy and i struggle to find any awnings/covers suitable for barn doors. great build by the way!
This is only for the UK market peeps. Cant get anything from this manufacture company or off this size and knowledge. . .. Resume. There is nothing to sell for the EU market, coz yur way to expensive. Sorry mate. You DID had a good competitif alternative. . Well. The Brittish markt is big enough isnt it? @@willtozer2252 al these engines (1.6tdi) have (unfotunately very expensive) injector problems. When they fail (and they often will) your engine stops running and you need assistance.
I have watched lots of VW conversions on UA-cam, this is possibly the most impressive VW Caddy conversion.
Definitely on my to do list in the new year.
how is it going so far?
This is a great conversion! How much did it sell for?
Tree fiddy
Really nice finish on this. And really well thought out for a camper. Have you found any bits that you would change if doing it a second time around?
Very nice tidy job, well done.
This my dream van!!!!
Looks fantastic!

Q I see that your battery is not in a vertical up right what type of battery is it my thought were of acids leaks? Answer love the van
The idea of having to cook outside without any shelter is a deal breaker.
Great job, you have given me the inspiration on how to convert my own many thanks ! dx
Hi Guys, lovely conversion. Is that radio a VW spec or did you source it from elsewhere? I'm looking to replace my 2013 original.
Nice van but that's not a double bed! Are these insured as campervans or just vans with mods?
Great conversion! What is dimensions of the kitchen and bed?

Nice job very impressive is it a lwB or swb how wide is the bed

Sehr gut Arbeit
Hello, how long is the bed/couch? Thanks
Just over 6ft I think
What's the bed length? It looks really short, like 5ft or 160cm.
So cool
Hello;) where did you get the sliding windows?
Love this!!
Hi where did you get the bed cushion/mattress from ?
What is the length of the bed?
Beware! They are not alloy wheels! I was fooled! dx
Great work.... very well thought through.

@@edenbreckhouse Where would you suggest putting the kitchen area on a camper van this size?

All u need is a high roof
How much did it sell for please??
What sort of money are we talking for one of these?
Beer for breakfast?

thats why campers with tailgates are better than barn doors. The Maxi , and Maxi Life for example. Twin rear doors is useful on those too.
stitchesandsteel.com have an inflatable awning
Those door handles might hurt when in bed?

No reply from this channel to any questions. Very poor,no likes from me. Also outside cooker no good with English weather
Why did you choose for a 1.6tdi? Thes are the most horrible unriliable engines..
Are they renowned for it? Or have you just had a bad experience?
