I was immediately confused when they said 50k for a TRX they are all trading around 100
I think the TRX is around $75 - $85k for his year and build. $80k is not the absolute cheapest. I just sold mine for $86k and it was newer and less miles than James' TRX. Values have dropped like a rock.
They were for sure off on the TRX. I have seen some for low to mid 70’s for an early car with some miles but most are selling for in 80+ range
Lowest one I found was 60k with 110k miles
Their appraisal of the GMC was insane too. Out of touch. They acted like it was a mint condition, fully restored truck, and appraised it as so.
So many amazingly significant cars for James and we love the stories behind them all!
Ed the agera hh is not an agera r but an agera s and I would have put 4 million dollars for the car because of it's significance this is only agera that is not technically illegal in the us and it was made David HH and it also the 99th car koensiegg made and Lewis Hamilton drove this car in gumball 3000 back in 2015 when it arrived in the us and James's history with the hh is also important to consider
I could swear that the black LM002 was purchased with no motor, the discussion was about which motor would be a good choice, Houston was trying to sell it for a while to different influencers

The motor is in the same Ohio shop that's working on his white one. It came with a motor it just wasn't installed

@jeremyloyd79 Depends a lot on mileage and market. There are at least 3 clean title 2021 TRX's with under 30k miles available at dealers for between $74.5k and $80k in the Chicago area right now.
Hers had like little over 24k not quite 25. Black stock unmolested truck. Really clean. Think she got 98k for it. It was a 21

I really don't like the carbon body kit, but 225k for a clean title Aventador is crazy low. He could always throw the original body back on and sell it if he wanted to.

@@amaanfarrukh8170 Custom does not equal more expensive. There's a reason why custom builds (both in cars and motorcycles) are worth less than when they are original. Perhaps it could be sold for 350k because of the history of the car, but definitely not because of the looks.

He got an engine with it, it just wasn't in the car yet lol
He doesnt technically own the agera unlike all the other cars but its part of the collection as a lease i believe. He pays close to 1000$ a day on it which is wild to me. But apparently its financially the way to go which is interesting.

@godver555 Let’s say you buy a car for 500k, cool you own the car. But you also could put 100k down and lease the other 400k. Now you own the car and have an extra 400k to go make more with to then pay off the lease, and it’s a tax right off. It’s the smartest options in some cases. Not all.
@@RyanSalm Yeah, he mentioned with the tax write offs, it just made the most sense on that car. I think he got a lease to own kind of deal, so he's leasing it for a while with the option to buy it outright down the road.
I hope u do know he'll have the option on just buying it straight of since it's almost like rent to own so technically he owns the car.

It's amazing that people get so caught up in these collections and what they are worth. At the end of the day it just doesn't matter to anyone except the owner and their insurance company. They balanced it out with the TRX lol. If it was restored or a resto mod, then it would definitely be worth that, but in it's current condition no way. 50k for the TRX definitely seemed low to me, I was thinking more like 75k at least.

To James, the GMC truck is priceless because it belonged to his dad. I don't agree that a car that belongs/ed to James has more value than a car owned by a regular guy. I agree with you guys on all the other valuations. Some of his cars have appreciated in value, but that is not why he is buying those cars. He actually uses his cars, which is what a real car guy will do.
I think they were referring more down the line they would eventually and they were talking more of his Iconic Cars that people know him for, not just any car he has or had owned.

12:28 The engine didn't blew up! it's just the guys who've been working on it and Twin Turbo charging it, was dumb. Cuz insted of cleaning the oil that got spilled on the engine while changing the oil filter, he left it like that and it caused engine overheating and that when the headgasket melted and that's why the engine is malfunctionning!

I think you guys are way off on the TRX. The cheapest ones that are running and not salvage, wrecked, etc, are around 80k, and once the new "TRX" (which at least Dodge renamed to RHO or somehting, without the Hellcat motor, but instead the inline 6 Hurricane) comes out, and you cant find the V8 trucks, prices will go up. Im not talking the markups artificially added (thats a whole can of worms), but just supply and demand.
The same goes for the rare breeds of Challengers, ie, the Demons (both), 1320s and Super Stocks in that order (low to high, due to production numbers), again, not counting special edition cars since they are mechanically identical the regular Scat Packs or Redeyes, but the cars with unique mechanical features, engines, suspension etc. Add to that a car with low mileage that wasnt beat in a street takeover, and youre looking at a turbulent market.
I have a level 2 package TRX and I was like what are these guys smokin when they said 50K. Dudes are like a fish out of water when talking trucks apparently.

They did absolutely zero research on Strad's cars besides the murci. Cheap quick video they made because of the attention Strad's name brings. They were wrong on several items throughout the video, especially when they unintentionally disrespected the GMC that used to belong to his dad. Usually I like these appraisal videos, but this one was just hard to watch.
You guys should do an episode appraising aubscribers cars, from daily driver hoopties to full fledged track builds!
